i bought a GMKtec K12 Mini PC AMD Ryzen7 H 255 (Upgraded 8745HS) Oculink Support DDR5 and youtube videos at 4k 60 hz stutter big time when i log in to my youtube acount.i am a premium user.all driver are up to date.my intel laptops using firefox browser work perfect no frame drop whatsoever.i have bought 2 of this mini pc and bouth behaving same on firefox(i tried on all firefox browsers: F.NIGHTLY,FOR DEVELOPERS,ESR) I also have an laptop with AMD cpu and behave same: stutters on 4k 60hz. Recently i tried FLORP browser and youtube 4k 60hz works perfect until i log in to my youtube acount and then it starts stuttering and loosing frames big time so bad i even cannot watch the video.ive tried on trubleshoot mode ,started from scrtach with same results

My account is hacked this is supposed to be a secure site that's why I downloaded it. They got extensions linked in here . They have a family account I'm not a parent I'm not a kid I'm a grown woman with a hacked phone they I can't get any help with insane . They make things to easy for hackers nothing is protect damn shame .

One day there are no shortcuts on my firefox homepage, none show up when I open a new tab. In my settings, it shows I have set to allow 3 rows of shortcuts, but there are none! This is so totally inconvenient and I have spent hours trying to sort it out, so I might be bailing on Firefox as my default browser.

Some google search suggestions mention "clicking on the plus sign" to add a shortcut. THat opens a new tab but does not relate to shortcuts.

This is a snip from my Chrome homepage, with shortcuts. I used to have 3 rows in Firefox. Now there are none, and there is no plus sign to add one.

Doing a "find" ends up showing a greenish (so I'm told) background with white text. Want to guess which "find" in the attached image is difficult for me to find?

What I would like: Find (focus): yellow text on black background Find All: white text on black background

Yes, of course it would be nice if that would auto switch to black on yellow if the website default is black background.

I can hack userContent.css and get the selection function to work:

I can hack userContent.css and get the Find All (sans the focus) to work.

But firefox always provides the focus with white on green. Even if I do something like this:

I tried several themes. No change. I tried changing Windows Preferences. No change.

There must be a way to make this "find" feature useful for me.

I was googling something related to my game and i clicked on a Reddit search result, which i made sure is the official Reddit website not some shady one, then an empty .htm file from moz-safe-about resource got downloaded randomly. I didn't open it, i uploaded it to VirusTotal which came out safe and then i instantly deleted it and ran a virus scan with Windows Security which also came out clean. i tried to recreate this by opening the same website again both on Firefox and other browsers like Zen(Firefox based) and Chrome but nothing happened.

is this a harmless bug or should i worry that it could be a virus that didnt get detected?

Please can someone be kind enough to assist me. I cannot seem to log in as normal and therefore cannot get my emails and therefore are not able not reply to them.

I have Firefox set to use the built-in .pdf viewer to avoid Adobe's intrusive AI features. I have disabled Adobe's AI features in the Acrobat settings, that does not seem to apply when Firefox opens the Acrobat reader. Consequently, I have to fight off AI "suggestions" and offers of help when I simply want to read a document from the web.

So I set Firefox to use the built-in reader. After 1-2 seconds, it switched to Adobe, and brings up all the annoying AI features. How can I keep Firefox from switching to Adobe?

As a test, I renamed Acrobat.exe to AcrobatX.exe. Firefox behavior did not change. I also killed all Acrobat-related tasks in Task Manager. My document still displayed in Acrobat after 1-2 seconds, but none of the Acrobat-related tasks reappeared in the Task Manager.

I am using Firefox 145.0.2 64 bit in Windows 11 with all updates current.

I have many website icons from closed tabs at the top of the page that are crowding out my open tabs. I don't know why they keep appearing and I can't get rid of them. I've tried everything I can think of. I'm on an iMac, Sequoia 15.6.1

Hi. I'm in Windows 10 Extension using latest version of Firefox 145.0.2.

Every time I try to log into my Gmail account, a Windows Security Pop up says: "Making sure it's you. Please sign in to google.com. This request is coming from Firefox, published by Mozilla Corporation."

I'm already trying to log into gmail using my user name and password! I cancel out of the pop up and then it takes several tries to finally log in to gmail.

Is there any way to disable this pop up request at Firefox's end?

I hover over bookmark folder, they expand, and the links the folder contains work. (Or) now 80 percent of the time, I hover over the bookmark folder, they don't expand, so I click on the folder to expand it, and 90 percent of the time, the links in the folder do nothing when clicked on. They won't even get highlighted, (selected) I restart firefox, and all works again, for about 10 seconds, and problem occurs again. It goes without saying it gets real frustrating restarting firefox over and over and over again to use another bookmark. I've never experienced this before. This only happens for me on firefox for Linux Mint 22.1. Firefox on windows 11 does not exhibit this problem. Please help, thanks. Cheers...

I have used Firefox for years, both out of conviction and to help protect my privacy, even though I often put up with images and forms not displaying on web pages.

Then, three times in two months, after restarting Firefox, I found all my tabs, bookmarks and browser history had disappeared. The only thing I did between restarts was to run Wise Care 365 to clear some space on my laptop, something I had done hundreds of times before.

The first time the loss occurred I found I had a new profile, a feature I neither wanted nor was consulted about. At least I was able to get back to my original profile. The next two times this proved impossible.

Firefox "support" was of no use. Multiple searches produced nothing which helped. After agonising hours, I was able to retrieve my bookmarks and my Firefox browser history through Microsoft Edge. But as a writer and (award-winning) journalist I cannot afford to risk losing my research and links.

So although I disapprove of some Microsoft business practices. I am moving to Edge. If I have missed something that makes sense of this, I would be pleased to hear it. In the meantime, Mozilla needs to improve its product and customer service.

I am so tired of this. I am continuously being blocked from webpages because Firefox says I am not able to access them. First it was Macy's website and now it is my bank website. I have just gotten a new computer this week, but it was occurring on my previous one. I am 71 years old and am not a computer whiz on these situations. I was able to access my bank account this morning but not now. Total bullcrap.I really liked Firefox, but if it continues I will switch to something else. I just received this error code. When I turn on my Mac and click the Firefox browser icon, it will not load. It hangs. I get a "not responding" message and have to "force quit," again and again until FINALLY it loads, after five or more failed attempts. This does not happen with Firefox on my laptop, only my Mac. Both Firefox and my Mac are up to date. Why is this happening? Please help. It happens every day when I try to load the browser. I am about to give up and move to Safari. Relatedly, anyone know if it's possible to export all my bookmarks from Firefox to Safari?
