It's really strange (I'm still trying to understand my relatively new Windows 11 laptop), bookmarks have been where I'd expect them for a few days, then this morning, it's as if Firefox has done some sort of clean/re-arrangement. The bookmarks had disappeared and there wasn't my usual array of sites available along the top. Then by clicking on a few things on the right (Firefox) 'most used' re-appeared, then later the toolbar is there on the right, I'd really like it back on the left And also I'd love to know whether I might have done something unconsciously which caused this.

When i mouse wheel click the bookmark folder, it always switches to the first tab when doing so. This notably doesn't happen when i click the non-folder bookmark. Is there a way not to have this behavior ?

When I search for something, the location bar no longer shows the address and the star to add bookmarks unless I click on a little globe. I installed a Firefox update not long ago but this has only just happened. I'd like to be able to just bookmark searches like I used to.

I have a folder with many bookmarks in it, and when I want to open multiple links in the folder but not ALL of them, I have to keep opening the bookmarks folder after middle clicking each link 1 at a time. I can't open the entire folder - there are 100+ and say I want to open 10.

Is there a way to keep the bookmark folder open while I open each link in new tabs?

Recently switched from Chrome and in Chrome I would open my "Other Bookmarks" folder and middle click a bunch of bookmarks which would open them up in a new tab without switching to that tab or closing the "Other bookmarks" folder.

Is there a way I can replicate this on Firefox? Because at the moment, middle clicking the bookmarks does nothing. This is not about the bookmarks bar at the top.

I used to use Firefox as my standard browser until this issue occurred some years ago. I can no longer add, edit, or see any bookmarks I previously had. When I start the browser, I'm met with an error message (see below), which then sends me to the site in the image below. The title roughly translates to: "The System for Bookmarks and Browser History is Non-Functional". I've tried following these steps in the past with no change regarding this issue, and I've had to switch back to Chrome. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox, but the issue persists.

Has anyone else encountered this?

After exporting bookmarks.html from Ffox on old computer, importing it to Ffox on the new one, all good, except that bookmarks toolbar shows on the imported list but doesn't display as toolbar.

Old computer crashed....so lost all my bookmarks and their folders. Now in Windows 11 and I can make bookmarks for my Fox toolbar but I can't find where I can created folders for my bookmarks. Can I still do it and if so how?

Is there a way to permanently set sorting from A-Z? When I open a file & go to site, I then have to reset sorting within the folder when I go back. Using down arrow sends me to the next folder. Have been Mozilla user for decades but didn't open account until recently. Always set to my default, even on latest PC, in conjunction with other programs. Don't like Microsoft programs.

Guess I probably owe Mozilla a donation but have tight budget, as Sr. on Social Security. Maybe I can contribute a small amount if that would help?? Don't want a subscription. Can't afford it.

Firefox is the default browser on my Dell Inspiron laptop which runs Windows 11 Pro. I have several bookmarks in my bookmarks manager that I'd like to copy to my desktop; how do I do that?

I have multiple duplicate "Other Bookmarks" folders populating my "Bookmarks" folder. I can't seem to get rid of them. Any solutions? If I delete one folder will all be deleted? Windows 10, Firefox 140.0

I had my browser set to show certain bookmarks on the main browser and different bookmarks when I activated the Secure Banking page. now they seem to be combined?
