After all these years, favicons still don't sync? Tell me this isn't so, that I'm doing something wrong. No way in hell I'm going to go through opening ~1,200 bookmarks just to make favicons sync.

What is the best way to find out why a set cookie isnt working? a request sets a cookie for a full domain .google.com for example, but it doesnt get sent on subsequent requests for a subdomain. is there any logging or error message in firefox to figure out why some cookies work and and some dont? when i look in the application tab i dont see the cookie either.

I just installed Firefox onto a new laptop, but the Bookmarks Toolbar shows the generic "globe" icons for most of my webpages, instead of the page-specific icons.

I am logged in an synced with my other devices that use Firefox.

hi. recently I have found that I can't load ebay correctly on Firefox, it loads fine on Edge. Other websites appear OK. I don't know how to describe the appearance - there are no images, only various numbered headings, and highlighted links.( I have taken a screenshot, but don't know how to save it in a format that can be loaded on to this page!). It has only been a problem for a few days. What to do??

This feature is useless and annoying. In fact I would like to disable the entire "Library" concept. But for now can anyone help me remove this "feature" in version 79? I do not want to see recent bookmarks and have no use for this. Thanks.

I'm sure this has been solved elsewhere, but the search function on this site is miserable, and Google has been no help.

I am able to pull up the Ctrl+F searchbar, I am able to type no problem, etc. It gives the appearance of working properly. When I type a word into the searchbar, it does indicate the number of matches it has found within the little search pane, but it does not actually highlight or show any of the matches. Clicking "highlight all" does nothing, and trying to scroll down/up matches doesn't move the screen at all or show any of the page text changing. In essence, it's telling me that it found matches, but it won't tell me where.

Does anyone know how to fix this? TIA

After a recent FireFox update, I am now having a problem downloading Outlook.com webmail attachments. The download process appears to initiate, but when asked via popup "What should FireFox do with this file", the "OK" button remains 'grayed out' regardless as to whether the "Open . . " or "Save . . " option is selected. BTW: Using FF v79.0 w/ Win 8.1 and not having same issue using either Chrome or IE and issue does not appear to be file-type specific. Assistance would be MUCH appreciated as FF is my preferred browser.

Hi, I'm saving login information through Firefox / Firefox Monitor however I'd like to know why, whether I'm signed in, or especially after I've signed out of Firefox, all my login information is fully accessible with two simple clicks.

Should this not be protected when you're NOT signed in? ...or at least require a password should something need to be updated?

I understand there's the master password however, after reading various posts, I don't think it'll solve the issue.

I have Firefox version 79.0. The power went out a few days ago and upon restarting Firefox the restore button was gray, and similarly the tabs and windows button under history were gray. Today because of a problem with a website I turned off the computer. Firefox said it had a problem restoring, a restore button popped up and when I pushed the restore button it coughed up ONE tab, which I believe I had already closed, but none of the others.

For the past several weeks, Firefox keeps crashing randomly when loading new web pages. It shuts down the whole browser window, not just a particular tab at a time. In the past few days, it has also started to crash when a web site has already been loaded.

I have deleted all history and have only kept my bookmarks and the following extensions but it still keeps crashing: - Facebook Container - Ghostery - Privacy Ad Blocker - LastPass: Free Password Manager - uBlock Origin

I also have two disabled extensions. Not sure if they would affect anything?

Is my next step just uninstalling and reinstalling all extensions? Please let me know what else I could try!

Well, that's the issue. I returned to Firefox, but discovered the issue. When I try to upload a file as attachment to a message in Gmail, it gets stuck at the zero position. Other browsers (namely, Chrome and Brave) do it with no problem.

Hi, I frequent a telehealth site which has a video element on it that displays the other users outgoing webcam video stream, you know, like a zoom chat but built into an angular application I am accessing using Firefox. I am wondering why I do not get the option to send the video to PIP in Firefox? ... I do get the option in Chrome.

Is there some criteria that the video must meet in order to allow PIP? For instance, is PIP not allowed on a video stream that has no defined "end"?

Cease calling the latest Android Firefox version an 'update'. It is a downgrade by removing the remarkably useful and frequently used facility to save pages to .pdf.

Then, restore the facility for Android and introduce it in Windows!

After update (now ver. 79.0) I can no longer scroll to bottom of list of tabbed web pages saved in any Folder. These are saved with the latest at the bottom of the content of a folder. Some folders have dozens of web pages. The bottom now, and may have previously said, "Open all Tabs". The last one now if from weeks ago, not yesterday. Where did they go? JJE
