Hello, I have folder with old Firefox data, I need Google account name and password, mostly name. How can i decrypt the name from file logins.json or how can I import it to my current Firefox profile? In properties of passwords in Firefox I don't have option to import from file, I don't know how to find option that will let me do it.

according to the add-on page in Settings, the AdBlock Plus add-on is enabled in my browser, but it doesn't appear to be working. so I am trying to access the menu options to control it. to do that, I need to add the icon to my toolbar.

explains two methods:

1. go to Settings --> Customize Toolbars, and drag the icon to the toolbar. this doesn't work, because the icon is not there to be dragged (even after I restore defaults).

2. go to the View Menu --> Toolbars --> Add-on Bar and move the icon from one toolbar to another.

quite apart from the fact that it took me two days to figure out how to get the View Menu to appear, that procedure doesn't work either because after View Menu --> Toolbars --> the Add-on Bar is not listed.

can someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong.

Since yesterday I am getting this "Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue" error on every sites that I have tried to visit. Even on well known secured sites like https://drive.google.com is inaccessible while my Chrome and Edge is working fine. Any solution?

Periodically, randomly is all I can say, a message window opens when I power on with a statement about "UpdateBrowserForApp" having stopped working; and then I'm given options to close the program, etc. See attached screenshot.

Firefox is the only browser I use. Is this message from Firefox or does it mean I should do something related to Firefox?

A website I use to move money - getting message telling me cookies is blocking 3rd party cookies. and I need to enable 3rd party cookies. I go to settings in firefox and for the information to set settings to enable cookies 3rd party they do not work. They tell me to check and uncheck boxes that I do not even have for setttings. I never had this problem before until Jan. of 2022. I have to use a different browser to get to the website and complete my task. There is something in the Firefox browser or they made changes/updates. Need step by step instructions. NEED TO TALK TO SOMEONE.

I have Firefox version 97.0.2 (64 bit) for Windows. Lately, every time I start up the browser, it's trying to install an update. I haven't had this problem before with Firefox (and I've been using it for several years now). Is there something I need to do to stop this?

I can`t look the video "Payithat Abdul Hamid" on website KayiFamily.com on my tabet. Error message This Video File Cannot Be Played (Error Code: 232011) appears. Other browsers don't work as well, but they don't show this error message. Tell me please how to solve this problem on firefox browser.

Since the latest version of Firefox I cannot simply open attachments to Yahoo emails. I have to waste time to download and save the attachments before I can view them. How can this be fixed? Or, how can I download a previous version of Firefox and not have any updates?

My firefox is getting disconnected that lasts for a couple of minutes and then the connection gets restored. It is frequent and has been taking place since a few days ago. The problem is only in Mozilla Firefox and all the other software tools are well connected to the internet. I tried to fix the problem by refreshing the firefox and then uninstalled it and re-installed it but the issue remains.

I would appreciate any help.

I cannot open or download any attachments (.pdf, .doc, .jpg, etc.) attached to my AOL emails. This just started today. I didn't update Firefox today. I did not change any settings. What is happening???

MP4 videos fail to play with the following error messages:

1. No video with supported format and MIME type found.
2. Video can't be played because the file is corrupt.
3. NS_ERROR_DOM_MEDIA_FATAL_ERR (0x806e0005)
4. Error no decoder found for audio/mp4a-latm

• issue began a 1-2 weeks ago
• issue does not exist on chrome browser
• MP4 videos can be downloaded and played successfully in applications other than firefox
• other video formats play successfully in firefox
• issue persists in troubleshoot mode
• issue persists with hardware acceleration on/off
• issue persists with tracking protection on/off
• media.mp4.enabled is set to true

I just got my upgrade from Firefox86 to Firefox90 working, but the tab bar is completely missing.

I still use "old-style" FIrefox. From top to bottom: File/Edit/View menu Search bar Bookmarks Toolbar Tab bar

(yes, I AM old. I've been using Firefox since Version 1 and this particular style works for me, developers be damned.)

The tab bar is completely missing. Firefox knows how many tabs I have open (it warns me when I try to exit) but doesn't show any. The area that the Tab Bar used to occupy is simply empty.

Any ideas on how to fix? (Yes, I have done the Google.)

Isn't setup for ver95 for creating a Recovery key!!!! HOW TO CREATE RECOVERY KEY????

UAC notification pops up every time I try to open Firefox since last update on 5/5/22. I've deselected all options that run the program as an administrator, but it still shows up every time. I've checked that no admin is selected in both the shortcut I use and in the program itself. Any suggestions?
