A couple of days ago I noticed that Firefox had started using "Profiles". I do not want a profile. When I wanted to open firefox a window popped up asking me to pick a profile. I deleted my account. Now Firefox will not let me use it because I don't have a "Profile". If I cannot use firefox without a profile, which I never had to do for umpteen years, then I well switch to Chrome.

Default homepage is yahoo. Since the update to version 149, if I do a search from yahoo, the new tab that opens with the search result is blank most of the time. I have to click reload for the search results to show up.

Is anybody else having that problem? Seems to be yahoo search specific but not 100% sure.

Something doesn’t look right. Firefox spotted a potentially serious security issue with jobs.tuvsud.com. Someone pretending to be the site could try to steal things like credit card info, passwords, or emails." And there was no option to ignore this and just go to the site??? I needed to open MS Edge instead, to be able to apply for the job???

Hello I am 99% Mozzila user. But today, and it started from early in the morning, I cannot download a page or file like from my Yahoo email. Or if I go to a page to pay my bill I cannot download a page that I paid medical bill for instance. Downloads that ususaly take a second to appear in a new tab, or open in adobe are still downloading from like 7hrs ago. I cannot ev en stop downloading. I click on x's but it does not stop it. Also, I cannot print anything from Mozzila. It attempts to switch to print preview, a page appear just for fraction of a second and there is a circle of lines turning around for ever, but it never shows up to print. I was/am able to print something earlier and download, but it laggs now and nothing helps. I shut Mozzila, I restarted my laptop countless times, but it does not work. It does work on Google and I can print a word file or from Google

When you roll (minimally) the mouse wheel, up or down, while using Google Sheets in Firefox (only!), it sends you all the way down to the end of the sheet. Do it again, and it won't move from that position. I have been asking this for a while. Seems like a minor bug, but it's PRETTY annoying for those of us who have the use of the mouse wheel as a second nature. So please, PLEASE, PLEASE , fix the bug!

Since the last update I can no longer see download progress or click to see my downloads, why?

I now have to menu navigate to get to the setting I used to us and want,

I can setup the Calendar event, save it and see it in my Home Calendar along with the little bell icon in the top right hand corner which tells me the Calendar is aware of the notification request. I generally add a reminder for the Calendar event but just noticed that no actual reminders are being generated.

When I open the Mozilla VPN window I am met with the "Get Started" page. I click the "Get Started" button and sign in. When I get to the "Signed in successfully!" page, it tells me to open the Mozilla VPN window again (it does this for me) and to turn it on and all that. However, when the window is opened again, I am met with the same "Get Started" page from the beginning, leaving me in the endless loop of logging in. I am running a fully updated Windows 11. Could it be an extension I have?

Best Buy Tech support took control of my computer today to get my printer to scan to the computer. After that was done, I went to my FIREFOX hompage only to see it completely changed from the way it was and I am now trying to get it back.

When I want to view passwords Firefox is asking windows credentials which I don't have. Now I can't get access. It used to ask for my Firefox password what happened.

Attached below is a screenshot of my homepage for Firefox desktop (Windows 11). I have uBlock Origin, but it doesn't block anything on the homepage. I have two specific concerns:

• I tried inputting both gmail.com and mail.google.com addresses for the URL of my shortcut, but it always displays a generic icon instead.
• The YouTube icon isn't transparent.

I used the same layout/theme on a previous Windows 11 install and these two problems did not occur at all. What's the possible solution for this?

Suddenly to use Passwords list on Firefox Windows is demanding I sign into Windows, where previously I used the special "master" password I use only on Firefox. I want to disable this intrusion.

How do we (users) modify Firefox functionality to "open image in new tab" using a keyboard shortcut? A configurable (about:) parameter would be very beneficial.

If this is already solved, please publish documentation on how to solve this without the use of questionable add-on's (which introduce security risks and privacy issues).
