My installation of 32-bit Firefox 102 had been repeatedly crashing, sometimes for no apparent reason. I decided to download the 64-bit version of Firefox 102, uninstalled the 32-bit version, carried out a standard installed and all this appeared successful. I noticed that I was getting a lot of advertisements and remembered that I had had Ghostery installed as an extension in my 32-bit Firefox. I went to the extensions page, selected Ghostery and asked for it to be added. Shortly after that, I got a message that the installation had been aborted because the extension might be corrupt. I tried again and got the same message. I tried another ad blocker, and got the same message with that one; and tried a third with the same result. What is going on? I haven't changed any settings in Firefox since the standard installation, and the extensions were from the Firefox source, so how can the extensions be corrupt? If it isn't corrupt, why isn't Firefox installing it?

I try to install some extension but there some issue I don't know about it. I try to reinstall firefox developer again this issue not solved and refreshed it and not solved. and finally install normal firefox with new profile and this issue still not solved.

I can only install extension file if I download it directly form download library and convert the file from .xpi to .zip and install it manually in add ons manager.

please let me know how to solve this error.

Hi folks, I fired up my laptop tonight and then opened my Firefox browser, only to find that the bookmark toolbar was missing. 'Ah, simple answer,' I thought, 'I must have turned it off. Just move the pointer to the top and right click. The bookmark tab option will be there.'

But no, it isn't. Sure, there's the Bookmark name with a right-pointing arrow. And if I follow that I can see that it says "Bookmark Toolbar > Always show." And although that option has a tick against it, no bookmarks are visible.

So what's happened to them? If I click on the Bookmarks name right at the top and then click 'Manage Bookmarks' I can see them all, so they haven't been deleted, erased or anything - but why can't I see them? By the way, if I click "Never Show" then the space where they should be disappears and if I then click "Always Show" then the space returns but without any bookmarks.

Help please - bookmarks are essential for browsing.

I had to get a new laptop last week and Zendesk is behaving irratically in the latest version of the Firefox browser. It worked fine in Firefox on my old laptop. After logging into Zendesk it does a flickering loop and the page never loads. Any ideas would be appreciated.

I have been working with Zendesk support and they had me create a HAR file to see what was hapening. I also have cleared the cach & cookis as well as removed extensions. And all cookies are enabled. Zendesk is working fine in Chrome but I'd rather have it in the FF browser where most of my cloud-based work applications are.

My laptop is a HP 445 G8 Notebook running Windows 10 Pro 19044.1806

A few days ago, whenever I download an attachment from my email(Yahoo), the tab crashes after I do so. Assuming this is a Frefox issue....but not positive...has happened repeatedly since. Very annoying.

Also, upon restart of Firefox yesterday, all my cookies were reset automatically. Had to re-log in everywhere. This never has happened before, without out me manually doing this.

Any idea what is going on?

Hi, I use Verizon Fios and a Windows 10 PC. Firefox is my default browser. I don't experience any of the problems described below when using Chrome, which I only do now that Firefox is not working optimally.

In many, many years I've never had trouble with Firefox until about a month ago. When I opened the browser, I received messages -- about five times -- that it had crashed. After that, many websites now load very slowly, or not at all. And now, I'm unable to see product images on Amazon.

Would you please help me? I'm 84 and not all that computer savvy and I don't want to delete my browsing history, etc. Many thanks, Valerie

This morning, I needed to join a Teams meeting. After I'd clicked the link, I was asked if I would allow Microsoft to use my audio and video; I ticked "Allow". But, when I joined the meeting, I found that I could hear and be heard but I couldn't be seen; my video icon refused to react when I tried to get it open. It was only when I came in through Edge that I could be both heard and seen. Is there any way I can get into a Teams meeting through Firefox? (I have downloaded Teams on to my desk top.) Steve

Attempted to login to Canada Revenue Agency and it told me that Java Script had to be activated in the browser. How do I determine if it is activated and how do I activate it if it is not. The strange thing is I was on the site an hour before without any issues so I am at a bit of a loss as to what has happened. It may be an issue with the CRA.
