Hi, Before Firefox's Version 125.0.1 (64-bit) latest update I could download any file from my safe office environment, behind firewalls, VPN, ... Now despite of unchecking the "Block dangerous downloads" I'm still unable to download files. I have Windows 10 on my laptop.

Here are the steps: Click on a file, Save "File not downloaded. Potential security risk." Click on the message - Allow download The result is a file with content "HTTP Status 405 – Method Not Allowed".

Please help me to work the downloading again. I am aware of the safety but I want to switch off this feature.

Thanks in advance for help, Tibor

Hi! I am trying to have a biometric authorization with touch ID on Mac, and it says on the website that the option should pop up when i go to the password settings, but it doesn't, and I don't know how to do it otherwise, or if I should use an extension for example. I find this feature very useful to keep my infos private! Thank you in advance and have a good day!

I am getting notifications with the Mozilla logo or sometimes with McAfee logo saying "5 Viruses found, your computer is unstable" and various other warnings. They all also say "via qltuh.titanicooler.top" I have attached a picture.

I have closed the browser, I tried clearing my cache, I have scanned using both AVG, AVAST, F-Secure Online Scanner, and Microsoft Safet Scanner. I am not quite sure what else I should do.

Thank You

I'm pretty sure Firefox behavior on redirects used to present an option to "allow for this site." But if it did, that is now gone. There is only "allow." It allows once, and the next time you visit the same site, you have to allow again. And again. And again. Since one of these sites is the enrollment management system for my college, something I access literally hundreds of times each semester, this is fantastically annoying. I know how to turn off redirection altogether, but that seems like a blunderbuss solution. Most of the time, I like that warning. I just want to allow exceptions. Is there any way to do this?

I loaded the postcode lottery website but it's completely blurred. I last checked the same website last month, and it worked fine. I have cleared the cookies from Firefox, but the result is the same. It appears clear for a moment, then blurs. No pop-ups asking to accept cookies. It works fine using Chrome. Any idea why Firefox won't display it properly? It loads the National Lottery website, so it's not about gambling sites I guess.

This is so very simple and so the fact that it seems impossible to get a straight answer makes me instantly suspicious. Here is the question: What is my location? Simple! In other words, I have Mozilla Firefox installed on a physical device, which HAPPENS to be a desktop computer, not a mobile phone, etc. In other words, it stays here. So why do alllllll the sites act as though I am literally 930 miles...from my actual, physical location! I have NO VPN running...none. Unfortunately, Firefox is using Google location services, WHICH IS THE PROBLEM. I just installed Firefox, instead of Chrome, to solve that problem. I guess THAT was a stupid move, Firefox is worse!

There needs to be a manner in which the USER can INPUT THEIR LOCATION. I'm not trying to "trick" anyone...I'm actually trying to give people ACCURATE INFORMATION which apparently is beyond the capabilities of the internet, to provide.

For the second time in the last two weeks, Firefox has deleted all my saved passwords when the program has updated. This happens frequently and is REALLY ANNOYING. How do I stop it? I am now going to restore the files from back up, about half an hour wasted.

Thanks and look forward to hearing back from someone.

I don't know why, it is NOT Ancestry, as I can sign in to it on other browsers. I get this error message below.

Access Denied Error 21 What happened? This request was blocked by security rules. Your IP: 73.94.12.65 Incident ID: 6eae587fcef92d46

I have no idea what security rules, but I am working on a genealogy project and have never had a problem signing into Ancestry in multiple tabs before today. How do I fix this? Besides getting rid of Firefox, I mean. I have the same security extensions on this browser as I use on Vivaldi, Brave and Chrome - I avoid Chrome, but use Vivaldi and Brave regularly, along with Firefox.

It seems that there was an internal page for permissions, namely about:permissions. As I was trying to find an answer to my question, I found many volunteers at Mozilla Support would talk about this, but what I'm asking for is different. I'm looking for a way to list websites per permission, that is, when I want to disable a permission for a bunch of websites at once, I specify the permission and remove the websites I do not want to have that permission. In one of the questions on the site, an extension called SQLite Manager was mentioned and seemed to be the solution. This extension, though, doesn't exist anymore. If what I'm looking for can be done through this extension, I'd like to know if there is an alternative. If it doesn't serve the purpose that I am talking about, I'd be happy to know if there is a different workaround.
