Hello, when i fullscreen video on youtube video stops buffering. When i end fullscreen buffering immediatly starts and everything is okay. Back and forth. I tried: reinstall to lastest mozilla release, disable addons, stoubleshoot mode, increase cache in about:config and other public solutions i can google. When i look on "Statistic for experts" on youtube there are three bars and it shows: Normal size player: Connection Speed - some amount of kbps (works) Network Activity - some amount of KB (works) Buffer Health - some amout of s (works) Fullscreen: Connection Speed - some amount of kbps (works) Network Activity - 0 KB (doesn´t work) Buffer Health - 0 s (doesn´t work)

So basically, I'm trying to add a 2FA code, homever when I scanned the code using google authenticator, everything went normal. Homever, when I try to put in the code, firefox only lets me put 5 digits but not 6. Any solutions?

Why is there a setting that doesn't do [expletive]? Picture-in-picture can't be disabled through settings or about:config..... So how the living [expletive] do I disable [expletive] buggy [expletive]? And how the [expletive] do I set it to continue playing even after closing the small picture? Why is there no [expletive] setting for this while you have a setting that doesn't do [expletive]?

Using Firefox, my gmail inbox is my home page - and has been for several years. As of yesterday, the page opens but the page is blank. I am not aware of any changes that I have made.

I do not have this problem using chrome on the same device or firefox on other devices.

Probably something simple, but I have no idea what.

Trivial example of "weird" behaviour:

I have an Adobe Reader window open and a Google Chrome window open on my screen. I click on Firefox to open another window and both the Adobe and the Chrome windows are removed from my screen. No tiling. Just moved away. I can get the Adobe and/or Chrome window back, but then Firefox "disappears." This makes Firefox unusable for me. I have NOT changed any of my Firefox settings in probably years. Help please.

I ran the windows 11 system file checker (sfc/scannow) to fix a font problem I was having. It did say that problems were found and fixed and I do not seem to have that problem any more. After that, i could not access the Settings in Firefox. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox and still could not access Settings. I also cannot access any Web sites either by typing them into the address bar or using bookmarks. Both Chrome and MS Edge work.

Multi-Account Tab is on longer loading. I uninstalled it, shutdown my computer, and restarted it, reloaded it back on. Unfortunately, it's still not working. I do have Tab Stash on my computer as well, and it not working either. I guess the two problems are related, but I thought I would start with Multi-Account because I didn't want to lose all my bookmarks.

Does anyone have any thoughts on how it fit this?

I use Internet Bill Pay through my bank, and it has always worked correctly with Firefox. I have enhanced tracking protection turned off for the site secureinternetbank.com and I have cookies authorized in my exceptions list. Today I got this message:

Bank says it hasn't changed anything, and no tweaks I tried on privacy settings fixed it. I believe it's an issue with the new version. Can you tell me how to fix it or let me know when Firefox will fix it? The site works fine in Microsoft Edge, but I'd like to avoid using Edge.

I just got a new Epson 3-in-one printer and tried to sign up for the warranty. I got a message that the warranty was expired... I went to the Epson support site on Firefox and Malwarebytes blocked the site as malware... It said I could add the site as approved, but I don't know how to do that. "https://www.epsoncom.com/my-account/home". The Epson site said I already had an account but my password was incorrect. I had an Epson printer more than ten years ago; I don't remember the password and they don't provide an option to reset it. HELP, PLEASE.

If I need to upload a file I click on the OPEN or BROWSE button in the website, Open File dialogue opens trying to list the location it is already looking at, and it hangs for over 30 seconds before listing files. This is windows 11, but it did it when i had windows 10 too. I dont know what to do.

I get PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR when trying to load certain websites. I don't use any proxy or VPN, I tried disabling DoH. Also sometimes i get 403 forbidden cloudflare.

Late last week I updated Firefox to the latest version. Ever since, I keep getting the same error message that I typed in the subject line. I've seen previous recommendations on how to correct it, but none of them work, probably because there's been more updates since what I've come across. I'm getting this error message on multiple sites, including my bank account and my business email account. I'm presently typing this on a different browser (Brave), because I was getting the same error trying to find answers using Firefox.

I'm having much difficulty in attaching a article I see to Facebook. Its possible the problem may be I'm not using the right instruction on the Firefox options when I right click the article I want to attach to Facebook. Some of those options are, Save link as, Copy link, when I right click for options. Can someone explain what is the right option to use? And, how do I proceed once I choose the correct option to make that attachment to a Facebook message I'm replying to? There are times a picture of the article will attach to the Facebook message, but the text that is associated with the attachment will not appear? Can someone please help? Thank you.

Hello dear community! My firefox keeps crashing when trying to open a tab or close a tab. I can't replicate it since it happens on random tab-closing and tab-opening. I think it's just crashing when doing something like clicking anywhere and NOT when doing nothing while the system is idling. Thank you for your help! The problem I encounter has happened since I begin to use Firefox on Windows 11. The same problem happened to my Macbook as well, but a workaround is available. While with Windows 11, I can't find the solution anywhere on the web. Whenever I type on the browser, if I write a non-character notation right behind the word (like "this,"), the word would usually auto delete itself or sometimes, the word clone itself out (e.g, wordword, thisthi, etc.) or it deletes a small section of words right behind that non-char. I don't have insert turning on. I am quite uncertain whether you can reproduce this error on your laptop (for me, I have been through 2 windows 11 laptop and this error still persist). This error seems to only occurs for Vietnamese (Telex and VNI) default keyboard from Microsoft, Russian and English work fine. I suspect that it is caused by Microsoft Vietnamese, but I have unchecked all kind of spelling checking on settings. So should I use a third-party Vietnamese language typing for this situation or does it caused by something else?

I contacted to the hosting provider they said "I think some kind of sql query issue" after working on SQL it's working on other's end but still I unable to access.

I am trying to fix Firefox performance issues. I recently changed to Firefox to escape forced ads on chrome and the lost support for the Ublock origin. But I am having difficulty performing tasks and pages That I used to be able to do on Chrome with no difficulty.

When I open multiple tabs at once the tabs freeze up when trying to load and already opened tabs freeze and anything streaming also freeze. It takes tons of time to load multiple tabs and even sometimes single tabs depending on the website. This never happened with Chrome and I understand Firefox is not as refined as Chrome and is far younger than Chrome is but I feel like it shouldn't be this bad. Is there any settings maybe or maybe settings/preferences in the config area area that might help with faster performance and increased multitasking ability in the Firefox browser?

I have tried

1. Updating Firefox - I am running the most up to date version 2. Updating Graphics Drivers- I am running the most up to date drivers(Updated yesterday 11/17/2024 3. Deleting Cache/History/Logs 4. removed or disables unneeded extensions that I don't use every day and only activate when I need them.

None of this has worked to increase performance.

P.S. I would also like to fix the problem where firefox is using too much RAM if possible.

Can anyone help me?

The comment sections for foxnews.com and other sites disappeared using Firefox but not when I switched to Chrome. This just happened 6-18-25. Before this date, it worked on Firefox.
