I need mac command line command or plist to disable the new push notifications from any sites while using the browser.

Hello My shopify website is not loading in Firefox desktop. It loads fine in Chrome and Safari. https://christopherjameskull-shop.com/ I've cleared cache and cookies several times, and deleted and re-installed the app. It does work in Firefox on my iphone. Thank you for any help.

It's like a greased pig. Every time I put my cursor on the top left to go back a page or access a menu, the controls slide upward. Then I try and they slide up again. I think this is a new "feature". HORRIBLE and annoying.

I might go back to Chrone.

How do i get the menu to just sit there like it is supposed to?

Hi, I have a mac and I use the userchrome.css file to place the close tab button on the left side of each tab (visible on both active and inactive tabs). This code has worked fine for several years. However, this past week it has stopped working. Looks like the problem started with the upgrade to version 113.0.1. Besides the close tab "x" now showing up on the right(annoying on a mac), the last tab has no close tab "x" at all. To close it, you have to add another tab, which you can't close either.

I would appreciate any suggestions as to how to fix this.

Also, websites have been loading much slower than usual.

I use thousands of text replacement shortcuts on my Mac, which are all honored by Safari, Chrome and virtually every other browser, but not FireFox. What's up with that?

Everytime I go into fullscreen mode on youtube or similar, it gets stuck. The esc key and exit fullscreen button don't work and I have to restart firefox to get it out of fullscreen. Any insight? I'm on a macbook if it's relevant.

For the past few weeks, Firefox has started crashing when logging into various websites. I've updated Firefox, cleared cookies etc, reinstalled Firefox, opened it in Troubleshooting mode, updated my OS, disabled extensions... everything I can think of. After some sleuthing, it seems to only happen when trying to log into a website. Doesn't happen on every site, which is weird.

This is so frustrating, please help!

Is it possible to change the displayed folder in the Bookmark Toolbar? So that not the folder "Bookmarks Toolbar" is used, but a self-selected?

Benefit:

For example, a Firefox sync account is used across multiple devices. But the most important pages differ from device to device (e.g. work/private). Accordingly, a different folder should be displayed in the Bookmarks Toolbar on different devices.

I am on a Apple Silicon MacMini M1 ARM running the latest Mac OS of Ventura. why does Firefox think I am on an Intel machine under Mac OSx 10.15 when I am on Mac OS Ventura? I assume that Mozilla does not have a ARM version or is this a configuration issue? Or is there a different issue at play here?

When I try to sign on to my bank, PNC, I always get annoying two step verification. The problem is with Firefox. When I use troubleshoot, this does not happen. When I use Chrome it does not happen. It does not happen on mobile. Help!

I am using the latest version of Firefox on the latest version of Mac OS Ventura, 13.3.1 (a). I wanted to have a sidebar showing the websites bookmarked in my toolbar. In researching how to do this, it said I needed to use the menu button at the top left of the address bar to do this. The only thing is I have no menu button! Can you please tell me how to add the menu botton to my address bar so I can use the options it affords. I have added a screenshot of this Firefox window so you can see there is no menu button here.

I would very much appreciate it if you would get back to me as soon as possible so I can make Firefox more workable for me.

Firefox automatically updated and now tabs sync, which I absolutely hate and want to implode the Earth because this even exists. I go to the options to turn off the stupid pointless sync and oh wait it doesn't turn off. The box is not checked. Tabs still sync and display a worthless icon on my taskbar because apparently Mozilla thinks I'm such an idiot I need AN EXTRA FRICKING ICON to tell me I have open tabs in my browser.

So how do I actually turn this trashbag "feature" off if it's not by deselecting it in the "Sync" panel, since that doesn't work?

Copy most any jpg from any website for example: https://i.redd.it/4kllvjnfgvza1.jpg

Paste it into messages on OSX, and send it to a non-apple recipient.

Image will show its been pasted, then try and send it for a really long time, then eventually fail after a timeout. It will never succeed.

If I open the same url in Safari, right click and copy the same image in safari, then paste it, just like I did from firefox to the same recipient, it will work. every time.

Other people have reported this same issue since 2021/2022. Please fix it already.

FWIW, this is a m1 mac, not intel like the user agent claims.
