Hello! I have a small problem with my firefox. I have iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch) with an additional screen (DELL U2412M) and when I have ff on this additional screen, bigger select lists are cutted by half (look at first attached image, second = good view). As you can see, list is bigger than firefox shows. Second image is from main iMac screen. Do you have any idea how to fix this problem? It's site independent so it is not a css problem. I tried to refresh ff and to disable hardware acceleration.

Today, I noticed the Ghostery icon usually in the upper right of the Firefox browser is missing. I would like to know how to restore it. clicking on the icon enables me to manage trusting or not trusting sites. This is an important option to have for visiting some sites. I don't know what happened.

Thank you,

(Crazy how I had to Google "How to post on Firefox forum" to post this. Anyway.)

My Top sites are not showing icons in some random cases (screenshot 1), and I can't understand what cases.

By default, the icons will show the first letter of the website name, i.e. "G" for Google Sheets, Google Forums, Google Drive etc. This is nearly useless, so I'm trying to add icons by linking the tiles to image files online (screenshot 2 shows WIX). However, some of them will show, some others won't.

I assume it has to do with the source of the image, whether it's official or not, but this still makes little sense. And if I add the website URL there instead of an image, it'll show me the full page in the icon, which wouldn't make sense to me.

How could I solve this?

Thank you

Four times now I lost all the tabs I had been saving in Firefox. No explanation, and no apparent way to recover them. Why does this happen? Is there a way to recover them? I don't have this problem with other browsers. Very frustrating, because some are regularly used references. Some are hard to recall from scratch once they are suddenly gone.

The Firefox Relay website has a link to a survey for users. I was unable to submit the survey in any browser (firefox, chrome, or safari) .

It kept flagging an error that I hadn't filled out the last question (which browsers I use on a regular basis.) even though it was filled out.

Anyway thought you all might want to know in case you haven't been getting survey responses.

I have been trying to install Firefox on a Windows computer running Windows 10 Pro. I have two users on the computer. I have installed Firefox successfully on the main user but every time I try to install for the second user, it does not install. it says it failed and leaves a strange icon on the desktop which, when I click, it deletes the file. I am not sure why. I have installed the same on 11 other computers with two users and no problem with those ones.

Hi,

I have several issues with my FF that it's unusable for development. I'm giving it a third chance as I really want to keep it.

- CSS is not listed in the network tab - JS cannot be opened in debugger - Source maps partially or fully stop working (e.g. in CSS for some elements it shows the source, for some don't) - Disable cache in network checked still loads assets from cache

Not all issues from above happen at the same time. Restarting the app, refreshing the profile or opening in the private window shuffle the issues.

What I tried so far: - Refreshed Firefox (from the troubleshooting information) - Restarted normally (from about:profiles) - Reset my profiles - Tried without singing in to FF account - Deleted the app and reinstalled it

It is a local project running in Docker, but the same project works in Chrome. No changes have been made on my side. I'm a Chrome user and would really like to switch to Firefox.

Hi, my Firefox Menu bar always randomly stops responding... the "Apple" Menu & the "Firefox" Menu (About, Prefs., Hide/Show, Quit both still work, but not the rest of the Firefox menus (File, Edit, View, History, Bookmarks, Tools, Window, Help)... those randomly become unresponsive, then total stop when using Firefox...)

Is there a setting in Firefox, or is there a way using Apple's Activity Monitor, or a Terminal command to force a restart of the Menu bars? this is getting very annoying LOL

I use Firefox Developer Edition (84.0b4) on macOS and pretty much never restart Firefox. Because of this I frequently miss updates. Chrome shows an update badge on the menu icon in the toolbar.

Is this built into Firefox aswell? I couldn't find anything like this and there doesn't seem to be an addon for this either.

Mac Browser: How Do I Change the Frame Zoom Shortcut: Cmd>2-FingerTrackpadScroll

Re: MacBookPro circa 2013, macOS10.14.6, current and past versions of Firefox, Using YouNeedABudget.com,

  Attempted Help: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/mouse-shortcuts-perform-common-tasks

YNAB is a personal finance budgeting system that I have used instead of Quicken for the past 10 years. Recently I updated my YNAB functionality from downloaded YNAB4 to server-based subscription nYNAB, which hasn't been equipped with all features for Safari, but is super-equipped (via TookKit developers) in Firefox. When I use Command Key to select multiple transactions in nYNAB, and then use the 2-finger scroll function on trackpad to find more below the visible range, the frame zooms out to infinitesimally small font, obviously making the font too small to recognize characters. Recovering previous font is tedious at best and frustrating to waste time and risks a loss of task concentration. The referenced Support Page doesn't even mention this action. This action does not occur in Safari, by the way, nor do I believe it is unique to nYNAB when using Firefox.

Please kill this apparently inadvertent Zoom action and substitute a MacTrackpad-friendly shortcut in next release. Thank you.
