I recently had to wipe my MacBook Air clean thus prompting me to download Firefox - version 70.01 (64-bit). I set up all of my work websites, history, passwords, emails, etc., but every time I close the browser and try to open it again, nothing is saved. I've tried several times and I am at a loss. Yes, I have created a Firefox account, and even this won't leave me logged in if I close the browser. I have to start over every time. Any advice?

Hello all, since the new update 70.0 Firefox will not start up at all! I keep clicking on the icon and nothing happens. But after clicking on it a bazillion times it will finally come up. Ive had to switch back to Safari to get my work done. What is the problem and how can I fix it? I run Mac OSX -El Capitan v10.11.6. I never had a problem until this last update with Firefox. I'm trying to add my own certifcate so i can get SSL's with MAMP Pro working.
I get this error message "This personal certificate can't be installed because you do not own the corresponding private key which was created when the certificate was requested."
The key was created by MAMP.

My Firefox now 'defaults' to 'https://goto-searchitnow.global.ssl.fastly.net/v1/hostedsearch?aid=5329&data=aWlkPTIwJnVpZD01MDUyMDI2Ng==&keyword'. The 'response' is always 'nothing here'. Problem with Amazon (&other?) login after upgrading to FX69
When I upgraded to FX 69 on OSX, I got the attached error trying to log in to Amazon. When I downgraded to FX68.1ESR, the problem went away.

Every time I close Firefox it completely re-sets, I get signed out, all of my extensions are gone, bookmarks and settings and everything all need to re-install and get signed back into... it's really frustrating to have to sign on to tons of things to have it back to the way I want it set and never closing it or restarting it shouldn't be the only way to avoid this... Should have send everyone email warning of this. New account creation page should have option to enter existing UserName & be sent an email, so you know what email was being used. Over the years there have been many. Also different emails for "Get Satisfaction" (Is that defunct?) & for sending questions to Developers and AddOn authors...
I used the address that I found searching old email for announcements sent by Firefox/Mozilla, so it SHOULD be the one I used "here."

I need to get rid of the old bookmarks, default to the latest. How the heck do i do that? Help just doesn't seem to cover it, none of the articles i can find cover it, and if i try to edit, i have to delete one at a time, with no hope that will get me the latest (5/14/19) up as the default, especially the toolbar. I do NOT want to have to do it one at a time to change from 2015 to now! I can't upload the screenshots, Firefox saays too big and doesn't give an option to reduce.

Likewise, free.com has a tab bar at the top for choosing newspaper sections. They are now all empty (although the space is still present) when using Firefox. They display properly with Safari. This happened in the past few days. I think it happened when I upgraded to 66.0.3, although at that time I also played around with some settings try to fix a problem related to the upgrade (Firefox crashed during the upgrade and I lost my tabs as a result).

I was not able to join my firefox on this computer to my firefox account. Isn't the sync password the same as the firefox account password. So the question is when I first start my firefox it asks for a password and the same when I want to see a password I have already stored. The strange thing is it states that it is the wrong password when I choose to login in to my firefox account. So now I am concerned because I received this email on April 1st and thought this was suspicious.
