I am using Linux Mint in Dark Mode. Most emails which come through are easily read in the panel. See attached.

But others are practically unreadable in Dark Mode. See attached.

How do I adjust the settings so that the unreadable ones become readable in the panel. Thank you in advance or any help.

Version 126.0 (64 bit) Mozilla Firefox for Linux Mint mint-001 - 1.0

I use a wireless keyboard and mouse via a USB connector. History - I have had to reboot to clear the mouse interface error when it occurs for many months. I've had a open issue in the linux mint forums as I thought it may be a driver issue. Things worked tolerable until 5-29-2024 as my wireless mouse has been deactivated. I opened a second window(tab) in a new window and my wireless mouse permanently no longer works. It was quite startling. The wireless keyboard is fine. A wired USB mouse works. My HP laptop mousepad works. However, once the error occurs mouse clicks are no longer responded to and the active area remains the partial window where the mouse was last active. Currently the mouse cursor does not respond to movement inputs from the wireless mouse, so seriously worse.

Have the mouse settings or driver have been tampered with?

Installed Firefox 138.0+Linuxmint1+Virginia as an update on my Linux mint computers, and now the bookmark toolbar is gone. I have right clicked the menu bar and set Bookmark toolbar to "always show", but it does not show. I have gone into settings as well. What did version 138.0 do with my bookmark toolbar?

The visual and audio notifications for incoming emails being posted to the inbox of gmail under Mozillia Firefox do not function correctly when ran on a Linux Mint operating system computer.

I can get the visual notifications to work as long as the Firefox is open but once that session is closed the visual notifications are no longer issued, i.e. the setting to issue those notifications are not being saved upon closing of the browser.

I can get the audio notifications to work on a sporadic basis. I go into the settings on gmail and choose one of the audio sound notification choices and it works a few times when income emails are received into the inbox, but then just stops even if the current firefox/gmail session is still open.

My theory is that those firefox/gmail settings are not getting preserved/saved in proper manner to be available for subsequent sessions of firefox/gmail because firefox/gmail does not understand the FILE STRUCTURES of Linux Mint Mate so that those settings can be properly preserved for use by subsequent sessions of firefox/gmail.

Please consider fixing this.

Thanks.

      1. 🔷 **Issue Summary:**

While using Firefox under normal conditions, the system **freezes completely** at random times. The desktop environment becomes unresponsive, requiring a hard reboot to recover. The issue typically occurs during heavier browsing sessions (e.g., video playback or graphics-heavy websites).

System logs (`dmesg` and `journalctl`) show **AMDGPU virtual memory protection faults**, indicating a GPU-related issue triggered during Firefox usage.

---

      1. 🔷 **Log Snippet:**

```text amdgpu 0000:03:00.0: amdgpu: VM_L2_PROTECTION_FAULT_STATUS:0x00641051 Faulty UTCL2 client ID: TCP (0x8) PERMISSION_FAULTS: 0x5 [gfxhub0] retry page fault (src_id:0 ring:0 vmid:6 pasid:32776, for process RDD Process pid XXXX thread firefox-bi:cs0 pid XXXX) ring gfx_low timeout, but soft recovered ```
---
      1. 🔷 **System Information:**
  • **OS:** Linux Mint 22.1 x86\_64 (based on Ubuntu)
  • **Kernel:** (e.g., `5.15.0-xxx-generic`) ← *replace with actual kernel version*
  • **CPU:** AMD Ryzen 7 5700U with Radeon Graphics
  • **GPU:** AMD ATI 03:00.0 Lucienne (integrated)
  • **Firefox Version:** (e.g., 126.0) ← *replace with actual version*
---
      1. 🔷 **Steps to Reproduce:**
1. Open Firefox and browse modern websites (YouTube, media-rich content). 2. Use the browser for several minutes (random trigger). 3. Suddenly, the system UI becomes frozen and unusable. 4. Logs show AMDGPU VM fault and `gfx ring timeout`.
---
      1. 🔷 **Expected Behavior:**
System should remain stable during normal browser usage, especially with an officially supported AMD APU.
---
      1. 🔷 **Actual Behavior:**
GPU driver crashes causing total system freeze, likely triggered by hardware acceleration and memory permission faults inside the amdgpu driver stack.
Dear Mozilla Team, I installed my Fieefox on Linux Mont on an old Laptop I use as my daily machine. Firefox however after login does not sync to my previous installs. I have installed and removed firefox on my mobile (iphone), with no change. Also re-installing and singning out, signing back in did not help. What can I do to get all my bookmarks and PWs back?
I was trying to go to ssa.gov, today, and hit the button to login. When I did that, I got a 400 page saying: Bad Request
Your browser sent a request that this server could not understand. Size of a request header field exceeds server limit.
I have done this before, and it worked. To test if it was a problem with the web page or the browser, I did it from another browser (Brave), and it loaded fine. Is Firefox sending a bad request? Is this something you can fix.
I am using Mozilla Firefox for Linux Mint 137.0.1 (64 bit).
