I am trying to use a program (video display) and when I press the button to allow adobe flash I get a very small long thing and an error that says something like "#error 3409" I have re-installed it. My addons say that I have shockwave flash installed. I have installed adobe flash several times with the same result. Perhaps I should remove shockwave flash and install again. I have no clue.

Hello,

I recently installed the Multi-Account Containers extension but noticed that it also added some unwanted right click context menu items to assets for websites that I have put into containers. For example google.com and youtube.com are both put inside a "google" container. Now I have used the folowing code: "menu[label="Open Link in New Google Tab"] {display:none!important;} " in the userChrome.css file to remove the context menu item: "Open Link in New Google Tab" but it's only taking effect on the google.com website and not youtube.com.

Anyone know the reason why?

Thanks in advace.

Hi! I am opening this help, because for some months, that I have been using Firefox on Kubunto, it is impossible to log into Google. YouTube is the way I left it in Print. And it has a plogin that doesn't update for anything. Which is the Widevine Content Decryption Module provided by Google Inc.

This has brought me a lot of frustration when using firefox on Kubunto. But as I use the system only on the Pen Drive, I have no plans to install Chorme. Because I need the system only there and now.

Of course, I tried in many ways to correct my problem. I even formatted this Kubunto system. I tested with other linux systems. But they all have a problem with the same plugin, in firefox.

Could someone help me with this problem? I always used everything normal. It only started to happen about 3 months ago.

the 1st youtube video is played out on the screen, and the other video in my headphones.

I would like to give my little brother my pair of headphones to watch youtube, and for my class lectures that I have to watch, I would like to listen to them through the screen, or vice versa. And of course I would split the windows up, his screen of youtube on the left, and mine on the right.

Thank you

Hello, I'm using Firefox 81.0.2 on Ubuntu 20.04. I have a local html page with link formatted link that : ssh://server.domain.com If I type in a terminal : xdg-open ssh:/server.domain.com No problem it works as intended, however in Firefox it doesnt if I use xdg-opn to open a link starting with ssh. I suspect it comes from the fact that meanwhile my links are written like that : <area shape="rect" coords="1428,438,1463,495" href="ssh://server.domain.com" alt="" onmouseover="showTooltip('n14')" onmouseout="hideTooltip()"> when putting my mouse over the link it appears in the bottom left corner as: ssh://server.domain.com/ That trailing slash is most likely the problem ssh:// mime shouldn't consider / to be anything more that a caracter and I don't blame xdg-open here, but why would firefox add a trailing slash to a link while it's not written in the html file in the first place ? Hope any one will have an answer.

Hi, I have been using Ubuntu Mate, for some time now, since the latest installed versions, Firefox is unable to print the invoices generated by the revenue agencies site. The print is generated empty, it only shows the details of the site and some accessory data at the top. I tried to install an old version, 78, if I remember correctly, and the prints are fine. I tried with another browser and the printouts are correct, again. Does it happen to you too?

This problem occurred Oct 24, 2020 Australian Eastern Daylight Savings Time (3 weeks after daylight savings time came into effect here). The operating system time is correct. I have cleared the cache several times, rebooted and shut down overnight.

A forum site is displaying the correct times. A site displaying weather information uses the correct time; I loaded it just after 3am and the first time it displayed was 6am as expected.

1. A TV guide normally highlights in red programs currently showing; at present it shows programs showing one hour previously. In Google-Chrome no programs are highlighted. I have removed the cookies and that has made no difference. 2. Facebook.com times are one hour late, both the time of posts in the newsfeed and times of notifications.

As the title implies, I am unable to open any local files on Firefox. The tab just keeps loading forever and using up all available memory until it crashes the tab. (the browser still remains operational, since the crashing process is a child process of the main browser)

I took a look at the process in GDB and it looks like it's hanging in `read () at /usr/lib/libpthread.so.0`, called from libxul.so. (possibly a spinlock, since it also grinds one of my cpu cores down) I've checked and this problem is not related to my profile, settings, or extensions.

I'm at a complete loss for what to do now to fix this, since I don't have the time or disk space to build a full debug build of Firefox and figure out what's going on.

Hello, I recently upgraded Firefox to the latest 82.0 (64-bits) version. I am quite sure that with that version a new problem appeared by which the Firefox windows have no border except the window title bar, and cannot be grabbed for resizing. I believe it has to do with Firefox because other windows doe not have this problem, and the firefox window has the menu "File|Edit|etc." inside the window title bar. The versions are: - Firefox see above - Compiz version : 1:0.9.12.3 - Ubuntu 16.04LTS - gtk2-engines-murrine : 0.98.2-0

Incidentally, when starting firefox on the cli, I receive the error messages copied below. Thanks for the great work, firefox must continue and grow. Regards, xgiannak

As you can see from the attached screenshot (it's amusing that the screenshot utility was captured in it), Firefox ESR has an enlarged URL textfield. It recently appeared on Debian-based systems, along with the more annoying bug solved by cor-el in my previous post. It appears when Firefox ESR is first started and on new tabs. I'm sure this is another about:config solution, but I have no idea what to search on.
