Whenever I search for something on Modzilla Fire Fox Browser, I get All the Search results in Spanish. Unfortunately, I don't Read, Write nor Speak Spanish at all. In addition, I have to have it Translate everything into English. How can I change this, to come up in English only, and Not Spanish, whenever I am searching something in Modzilla Fire Fox Browser. Again, I do Not read, write nor speak Spanish (None). This is very frustrating and annoying to say the least. Please advise soonest. Thanks TmKraft

Firefox won't allow other websites to correct my spelling. This is a big deal and I will have to go back to safari if there isn't a fix. I am using a new computer and new firefox download. Can u help?

Hello, Every time I try to use acute accents on Firefox, it registers my input as a double input, leading to two acute accent markers (´´) appearing behind the letter. It works everywhere else, for example in the windows search bar, as well as briefly when I first start Firefox, before disappearing after the first few uses/minutes.

What should look like this (é), looks instead like this (´´e). Would anyone know why this is happening? To answer the question before it is asked: The only addons I have are Ghostery and Return Youtube dislikes and I have tried to type the acute accents without them enabled, but that hasn't worked either. I would appreciate any help here.

I have Linux Mint 22.3 Cinnamon in Swedish language/locale. I set up two users with Firefox 146. Then, I upgraded Firefox to 147.0, and set up a third user on the same machine.

For the two original users, the Firefox is in all-Swedish locale. Perfect. But, for my newly created user, some is in English. Examples in English; Onboarding, Search in Privacy, and New Tab/Shortcuts. Web pages is no problem. The problem is in Firefox proper.

Strangely, New Tab is in Swedish (Ny flik), if I do not use the shortcuts, i.e. chose Empty new page in Settings. How to fix? Minor annoyance, but I would like everything in Swedish, as in v. 146. Is it a bug that will be fixed by Mozilla, or do I have to do anything to fix it myself, or is it un-fixable? Or, is it maybe anything in Linux? I understand it is some changes between 146 and 147 regarding a couple of rather important things. Thanks. >>> System:

Hello,all, The built-in translation button in Firefox disappeared on the Reddit website.

Please add a fixed access key for the 'Translate button'. I also recommend introducing an automatic website translation function. Thank!

A website I have accessed many times before now redirects me to an italian site. Is this because of the beta translation? I'd like to be able to go to the real site. mecaforpeace.org

Hi Lovely Firefox Developers, Help articles say that "The translation feature ... has been available for all users since Firefox version 118.", but I can't see it and I'm on v147. I don't want to install the add-on as the articles say it's obsolete, but I can't see any other way to get it. Am I missing something? Tim

When I select a text and right-click, the option to translate by Firefox's native translation feature appears. The default target language for this seems to be the defined by locale; for my case, it's always Turkish. How do I choose a different target language to appear in the context menu? I cannot see an option for default target language in settings.

1. The browser's built-in full page translation function has poor translation performance, even far lower than other browser functions.

2. The font modification in the settings cannot take effect on the translated page font. For example, when opening a literature page (Elsevier) and clicking on the built-in full page translation, the font does not change.

3. When the page becomes a fixed tab, the prompts before closing multiple tabs will become invalid, and clicking the close button will close all tabs without prompts.

It should be pointed out that the loading speed of this browser is very fast. I feel that using this browser fully utilizes the performance of my computer, rather than some browsers that use a new era CPU and GPU, but the loading speed is the same as more than a decade ago. In addition, this browser has highly personalized features that meet my needs. It would be even better if the above issues could be resolved.

How can I control which languages are default in the translate tab module thing?

It always comes up with "Translate from Spanish, To English". And I have to manually choose every time, which takes up time.

I wish to have it defaulted as "Dutch -> English". I've already se the setting to "Always offer to translate" and "Always translate dutch", but I still have to do it manually sometimes.

Firefox displays some search results in French. Microsoft Edge shows results only in English. Firefox settings are for English. Google settings are for English. How to fix Firefox or should I uninstall, then reinstall Firefox? Rick
