Firefox was once the most popular browser in the world, but then Mozilla started releasing updates every week and became disgusting. Now Mozilla has a tiny piece of the market, they have essentially lost almost everything, but they continue to shit with updates like diarrhea, which most users do not need and it's impossible to refuse the annoying, ugly constant reminder about updates. I'm not even talking about the fact that after a refusal to update to a new version, there is a forced update to a new version without permission. So, why doesn't this company learn from its mistakes and become at least a little smarter?

Since the last update (was executed today in my case 16-07-2024), firefox has been very slow and freezing and crashing. Also, somehow it is the only browser that can't handle yahoo finance new charts and keeps freezing....so many issues in a short span of time, please check. I have tried other browsers and things seem to work fine there, so, it is not my computer or OS.

When I tried to sign in After I bought a. second pc, You totally confused The former owners. account with mine, Leading to her Canceling Firefox because. we shared passwords for Weeks. I don’t know what’s going on, but I wish someone would pick up a phone over there. I was with y’all for 15 years. Look at the past tense. I got to move on.

So today I was using firefox for work with multiple tabs open, I try to open a new tab and I get this message " Restart to keep using firefox"

I have updates set to "Check for updates but let you choose to install them" And the browser was fully updated to the newest update apart from this newest one?

Every time I try to open a new tab I keep getting this message mean I was unable to save my work and lost multiple tabs ?

Can someone explain this ?

I have bookmarks and saved passwords from an old computer (x86) that I want to import to a new computer (M1).

I have the drive with all my old files on it, and can mount it on my new computer. It is not possible to boot the old computer to export my files. How can I migrate them using purely file operations to the new Firefox?

My RoboForm Mozilla add-on stopped working and I tried to uninstall then reinstall the app. When I try to reinstall the extension, the following pop-up occurs: RoboForm Start Page has detected RoboForm browser extension but cannot connect with it. Please update RoboForm browser extension. How do I update the RoboForm browser extension? Thanks for any help you can provide to resolve this issue.

I just updated my iMac from Mojave to Catalina 10.15.7. I thought Firefox would provide an update to convert the esr version to the standard Firefox browser since I am no longer using Mojave, but the next update is 115.15.0esr. Is that correct? My understanding is that the esr updates are just for computers using older operating systems through Mojave. I did not update to 115.15.0esr since I am not sure if that is the right version for Catalina. Any information and assistance you can provide me is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Is this still the current status or are there any plans to support the old Windows versions for a little longer?

For a few days now whenever a new tab opens, either by clicking a link in search results or by clicking a link in an email, the cursor jumps to the bottom of the page and I have to scroll to the top of the page. I'm just getting started with Windows 11 on a new computer. What happened to cause this?

I used to have a home icon to return to firefox home page; it has disappeared.Any help getting it back would be greatly appreciated.I think I might have gotten it back thru the extension app but don't remember the process. Thanks

How do I stop these recurring update notices? Every 3 seconds. I'll update when I am ready as this current one does not affect me at all. For a while I fell for it, stopped what I was doing and did the ridiculous update, it still continues! I can move on to a different non-Mozilla browser if I have too. Return the option to not update and/or do it manually. FF127.0.2

When i do update my configuration settings changing by itself. Example, "browser.cache.disk.enable" is "false" but after every updates its always changing to "true". This happens only after updates.

LINUX. see subject, please. i started on this laptop w/ mint. 5 or 6 years ago. then downloaded peppermint 1 and has been working great, but the browser does not update automatically like is said. Then, my Linux guy up and passed away. I know no one in town that uses it. I'M ON LINUX. any help appreciated. have gotten some replies with folk trying to help, but it just wants to download/install whole program. my bank wants me to upgrade to at least 115. can't access accts. Chase are useless. They don't know what Linux is. Perhaps someone here can point me in right direction? Regards. God bless.
