Video plays on Explorer without issue... Video Plays in Firefox while in Safe mode only... I have gone through troubleshooting and dissabled all Add-ons and extensions, no Hardware Acceleration, Default theme

I have never tried to play videos apart from youtube one's Recently when I tried to play a video from another website(watch series tv.to) and hit the play button once the page opens,it automatically asks me save the file instead of playing it. The specific problem i have is that playing HD videos online irrespective of the website is always choppy. but the video plays fine in lower formats like 360p and 480p. i don't think my computer is the problem because similar videos play fine on internet explorer. I use Toshiba computer that's pretty old and i use windows 7. But like i said earlier the same old system plays the HD videos on internet explorer so why not on firefox. am using the latest version of firefox. so i will appreciate any useful solution to this problem as am enjoying my firefox experience up until this point.

Videos cannot be played properly.
Any videos cannot be played smoothly and are occasionally stuck. I can watch by using other browser.
I have Windows 10 Pro and now videos will not work with Firefox as the browser.
I cannot watch YouTube or other videos after installing Windows 10. The video portion shows a blank, black screen only.

I receive an error msg saying 'Deze browser ondersteunt het afspelen van video's niet.' Meaning the browser doesn't support playing video's. This is the only video that doesn't play, however.
IE and Chrome show no problem.
Switching off add-ons didn't help.

Videos on Twitter don't play, "The message This browser does not support video playback." appears on the center of a screenshot of the video. Twitter Videos play normally on Chrome. YouTube videos play normally on Firefox.
I have the latest version of Firefox and all the plugins are up to date (Java, Flash Player etc). I have experimented changing Hardware Acceleration Where Available box, the media.windows-media-foundation.enabled attribute, clearing the caches, opening in safe mode, nothing makes the videos play.
Is there anyone who has had the same problem and managed to solve it.

since round about 2 years I am having a real issue with using firefox and seeing some flash videos on random homepages. I have tried every thing you guys told us so far to do and nothing is working.
For example, a homepage like Spiegel.de and the videos they post its literally impossible to watch them they are hanging, lagging, scattering like hell, the sound plays fine.
I am now on Windows10 and the same f.... happens here when i use your normally great product. I am, to say it nice, done with your product and let me give you a prognosis for the future, Explorer, Chrome and compagny are working well in these key features, so no wonder they are gaining marketshare while your shi... is no longer the inovative product it has been.
I am deeply dissapointet, I am not even expecting a answer from you guys, all you will ask if I can send you some specs about my system, the configuration, setup, plugins I am using, no fu... I will, a good product has to work and not permanently beeing fixed.

I've tried restarting the browser, reinstalling Firefox, and clearing the cache, as well as waiting, but It doesn't work. It even works in Private Mode... Please help.
