Dear Sir or Madam; I downloaded a login CSV file from the Firefox browser. The date columns format in the CSV login file is ‘1.64055E+12’. In EXCEL, 44556.79166 would translate to 2021/12/26 18:59:59. The translation of ‘1.64055E+12’ should not be the same exact date, but should be in the same date range, as the 44556.79166 number. I’m not a mathematician. Would you please show me how to convert the '1.64055E+12' value to an equivalent excel date/time number? I could then format the excel date number cells to an yyyy/mm/dd hh:mm:ss format. These scientific number values are in the Firefox login file CSV downloads so I assume they were intended to be used in EXCEL spread sheet. These values converted to EXCEL date values would help me sort account password date change records by account name and change date. I could review sorted account records (and thus determine the current password for individual old accounts). Your solution would help me immensely and I appreciate your time. Searched the forums and web, no one seems to have answer that I have found. Firefox 95.02, Windows 10 Pro, 8 GB RAM, Dell Notebook, fiber optic Internet 156 mbps Start by running CCleaner, disable un-needed startups, extensions, ad-ons, ect., then roboot, have clean slate. About 3 months ago, after about 15 minutes Firefox slows down, then quits loading images, then eventually quits loading whole pages. If I was blocking content it would not work for at least 10 minutes. This evening, 21.38 clean boot, start FF, go to Facebook, read notifications, 1 tab open, nothing else running 21.55 images fail to load, still one tab open Researched more and ran about:memory, memory-report.json.gz unable to figure out how to upload Run CCLeaner, I do not save cookies or cache after FF closes, reboot 22.04 start Firefox, 1 tab open nothing else 22.16 images slow loading 22.20 nothing loads, try other websites like NOAA radar, all fine Reminds me I saw at the bottom left "Waiting for static.xx.fbcdn.net" Screen shot of Task Manager attached, FF running 10 times, 154 kb image will not upload Failed to upload, copying this txt and starting over. Images loaded fine after reboot Facebook works fine on Edge, I do not have/use Chrome or Google Facebook is the only page Firefox has issues with.

file:/Desktop/Removed%20Apps.html On Thursday, November 25, 2021 9:02 AM my PC was refreshed, so says the Firefox icon that popped up on my screen, and I presume by FireFox because they removed about 25 Apps that I typically use.

1-How do I re-install them? 2- and why would they be removed?

thanks for assistance and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

whenever I open 1 (one) tab, firefox opens 7 to 8...

I did everything mentioned at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-repeatedly-opens-empty-tabs-or-windows

Nothing helped. I used ccleaner and did a thorough scan with Macaffee. Didn't help. So what to do ? Similar problem with other browser. Using win10 (win Defender included), almost new laptop...

We're just users, we don't want time consuming problems like these... Thanks for your help.

Clicking Print brings up the web page, looks fine. When I click the Print Button (with the Fit to Page Width icon lit) it only prints a much larger image. Only the upper left part of the image shown in the print window is printed. Ctrl-P does the same. This started a week or so ago. If I select the test on the page, then copy it, insert it into my word processor, then Print from the Word Processor it prints fine, correct size.

Ideas?

Visiting certain websites like Humblebundle.com or Kickstarter.com causes the tab to crash, seemingly right when it starts loading images. I believe it has something to do with loading images, because with HumbleBundle at least, when going to humblebundle.com/subscription/trove it only crashes once scrolled down, which causes the images on the page to load and then the site to crash, and sites like Kickstarter will text but crash immediately after.

This started happening after getting a new monitor, an ASUS VG27AQ. I have it on 2560x1440 @ 144hz. Changing these settings to match my old monitor does not fix the issue. I have done a clean install of my NVIDEA drivers as well.

I have tried a fresh install, troubleshooting mode, safemode, as well as turning off all extensions, the issue still persists.

Here's a few different crash reports: bp-c62a1e3d-e36e-4177-acbb-654dd0220116 bp-a171e0b6-7c75-4bfc-a6c6-621a30220116 bp-eb9c9fae-f6db-487c-b6a5-964550220116

Hi, this is on FF 95 with Win11. Used to have no problems until upgrading to Win11, so something sort of broke with the interplay between the two.

--First noticed on YouTube, no audio for videos. --Then, lots of other places too. My audio device works fine, plays computer system sounds, local mp3s, etc., it's a bluetooth Bose. But internet vids have no sound.

In some threads I researched, the solution seemed to be to go through the sound mixer and check output settings. I did that to no avail. Everything seemed fine, although it calls the bluetooth speaker "headphones." And then to make sure the browser had the right to use the mic (but the bluetooth speaker has no mic). I did that to no avail. Then, what seemed to work was autoplay settings. Changing the autoplay setting for videos to "on" for FF, fixed the problem after rebooting the browser.

Or, so I thought. In fact, every time I come back, I have to do it again. Or, I have to pretend to do it again. The setting to allow autoplay remains correct, as I left it. Oddly, just going back into that portion of settings seems to have some effect. I guess I'm giving it a dirty look. ;) Then, reboot browser, works again, as before.

I have to do this for every session (or, actually, I'm just loading Edge; it's faster) to get audio fro internet videos.

Any suggestions on how to make this fix permanent? Again, the setting stays where I leave it. But it is as if it has to be changed again.

A financial institution's log-in page suddenly remembers my username, though not my password.

The institution's site is not listed among those in Firefox's password manager at all.

The institution claims it's not their site, and it must be the fault of the browser.

Any suggestions? I need to protect this information.

P.S. Chrome also remembers the log-in or username.

Hi,

A few months back I turned on the permanent overwrite of the colour - to a custom colour - of visited links under General > Language and Appearance > Colour (I believe). I've since gone back to try and turn off this setting but nothing I seem to do in any arrangement of settings changes it.

As of now, all previously visited links show as purple, even if the website would've previous kept their colour unchanged after clicking. What I want to do is either stop links from changing colour after clicking them, or revert this setting to the Firefox default.

Thanks in advance for any help.

The newest version of FireFox cannot access certain New York State Government website features like tax map sites. The site loses its functionality with this FireFox version. This occurred once before with an earlier version, but was subsequently corrected with a version update. Now with this latest version, the inaccessibility problem has re-appeared.Here is the web address, if that helps:

My Firefox (95.0.2 and many previous) seems to be having issues displaying content on some sites. It isn't on all websites and is consistent with the ones affected. www.penny-arcade.com is one of the afflicted sites. Paragraphs of text just do not appear and I run minimal plugins/addons. Pages run correctly in Troubleshoot mode. Pages also are correct in other browsers.

Things I have tried: Refresh FF Reinstall FF (nuking reg entries and scouring installation folders after uninstall) Turn off/uninstall All plugins/addons Enable/Disable HTTPS only Turn on/off Hardware Acceleration Standard/Strict/Custom Security & Privacy settings Some True to False option in about:config about mixed content (I can't seem to remember what...)

I have tried to resolve this on my own. For the life of me I can't seem to figure out why.

I have tried editing the about:config setting for the sandbox.content from the default "3" down to "0" without success.

Any ideas would be helpful. For now, it's back to Safari.

I have this theme installed in my firefox browser (95.0.2). https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/arctic-nord-theme/

When the browser starts, the theme works for a second, then swithes to some darker theme automatically. If I go to Preferences and disable, then enable the theme again, it work as expectet. I have set `layout.css.prefers-color-scheme.content-override` to `1` hoping that it would pin the light theme, but it has no effect on the issue.

How can I make firefox not change to some dark theme on startup?

Unwanted installation or spyware on Firefox profile?

Is there some way something is installed on my profile (and saved on it so it keeps re-adding) without showing? I made a format on my pc. Prior to it and after it, I had refresh firefox to throw out any unwanted extension or plug in that it could possibly have. I downloaded firefox again and logged into my profile. Windows defender, avg or malwarebytes dont detect anything unusual to Firefox and myself either don't see anything unsusual or out of the ordinary. I checked extensions and plugins manually as well through the troubleshooting and didn't find something suspicious (I'm bad at programming so it's difficult for me to read the information it provides but from the simple things I don't see something that shouldn't be there).

I have a feeling though that something is wrong with Firefox. It's unusually slow on same device and not responsive many times. Like something is onto it. I've had recent attempts of someone trying to hijack accounts connected onto Firefox so I'm worried if it's something that I'm not seeing.

I can't find a support e-mail or live chat of Mozilla for someone from there to check it out.

Any help?
