I want to delete some suggested USER IDs so when I try to log on to sites such as Verizon e-mail, incorrect suggestions (due to typing errors, old IDs, etc.) are no longer displayed.

There's a help page on how to add or delete user profiles, but that's not relevant. [Note: the "delete" feature, as written, appears as though it will delete ALL profiles.] I don't want to delete a profile; I just want to edit it to remove invalid user IDs.

When I select an option from the pull-down menus, or a link from right-clicking on the forward or back buttons, it makes a click sound. I'm using this on a machine that I use for recording and I don't want clicks on my soundtrack. How can I turn it off - I've looked through about:config and preferences but haven't seen any way to select or disable such a feature. I'm using FF 8.0 on Ubuntu Studio.

Babylon has added itself to my Firefox browser as a search engine. So if I type a search term in the URL window, Babylon comes up. I know it is a tracking device and it 'found' me when I used their site for translation. BIG mistake! I have uninstalled it, removed then reinstalled FF and it still is there. How do I get rid of it?

I first saw this issue after automatic ubuntu updates about 2 weeks ago - Zorin Linux. Then yesterday, I built a new MINT Linux. Went straight to sverigesradio.se and when I clicked the EGET FONSTER link on the radio image at the bottom of the page, it worked OK - This was the offending .ASPX example I was having trouble with on the other pc. Next the PC received 243 automatic updates and today I have the same problem as the Zorin PC. When I try to open an ASPX link I am asked what application to use. Am I the only one in the world with this issue? No problem with Chrome. Thanks Maurice

I emptied my cache. I rebooted Firefox. This is my email website - never had a problem before. I am able to access it on Safari. I even tried the simple address (rather then my bookmarked login address) - still got the same error message!

Just upgraded to Firefox 8. Also just transferred all my bookmarks from Delicious to Firefox bookmarks. Love most aspects of the system but when I open a bookmark folder/subfolder the bookmakrs are displayed in 'date bookmarked' order. I prefer alphabet order as it is much easier to look things up. I have tried using the 'view' menu to reorganise but every time the folders default to 'date order' after I've switched off and restarted my laptop. Is there a way to 'save' the alphabet order? (I am using Windows 7 on a Compaq laptop)
