I want to vote by mail but the Elections Canada PDF has this message on top: "This PDF document contains forms. The filling of form fields is not supported." Googled this extensively but there is no Adobe PDF reader listed in Firefox "options" or "add-ons". Only Firefox default PDF reader is available. Adobe is not listed under Open with different viewer - Other..., either. The default Firefox reader won't allow me to fill in the form and print it. Needless to say, I'm very upset I won't be able to vote. I am a wheelchair user with very serious medical problems and cannot leave my home to go to a voting station. This must be a new thing FF is doing because I filled out and printed this form to vote in our election four years ago. What possible reason does Mozilla have for not allowing someone to fill out and/or print a form?

I found many similar issues here and over the net, but none seem to work for my case.

I have this URL in my address bar suggestions, that is not in history. I used "Forget about this site" to remove it from history. I've also cleared my cached data from Privacy options (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/how-clear-firefox-cache)

I don't think killing "places.sqlite" will help, since it's not contained in `moz_places` table:

sqlite> SELECT * FROM moz_places WHERE url LIKE '%xkcd.org%';

sqlite>

So this website is actually a typo for xkcd.com web-comics.

I've tried https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/remove-websites-address-bar-suggestions. This does not work since the suggestion is not on first page. I have to type in 'x' to see this wrong suggestion. Shitf-Delete does not work, since it only deletes the autocompleted string from suggested URL.

I use Mozilla account to sync, so maybe that may cause it -- other profile connected to account?

If I try to drag and drop a new bookmark onto the bookmark icon (the star with the line under it), it USED to open up Bookmarks and I could place the new bookmark where ever. That no longer works.

I CAN drag/drop into a folder on the menu bar but not into bookmarks directly.

Hello, I am inquiring how to setup text replacements in FireFox i.e. TY = Thank You It is the same exact tool on Mac OS Mojave in Preferences - Keyboard - Text I would like to setup some per-defined rules that automatically change my text as I type. For instance, when typing "TY" in Firefox, when I hit the space bar, I would like it to promptly change the "TY" to "Thank you" (without quotes).

This would help a lot with my productivity at work. I am not sure if there is a way to enable my text replacement shortcuts setup on my Mac to work in Firefox, or if there is some sort of Add-On that would achieve this.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated!

How to turn off *distracting* display of trackers blocked in bottom right of web pages for Firefox 69?

I appreciate that Firefox is now blocking third party trackers. But I can't stand having a distracting purple display of trackers blocked in every web page. That is unacceptable to me and I want a way to turn off that distracting display on *every* web page.

I find it ironic that distracting ads are being removed (good!) but Firefox developers thought it was a smart idea to *add* its own distracting information on web pages (sheesh -- at least could we have the option to put that tracker summary in the menu bar? -- I would ideally prefer being able to abolish it from even being seen there).

I am a software developer who doesn't care for web page pollution or distraction from the real content, and a tracker blocking summary in my face on every page is definitely pollution.

I'm going back to Chrome because of this one issue (the ad blocker I use only puts its summary count in the menu bar).

Firefox really goofed by adding its own "ad" on *every* web page for its new feature. Now I need a blocker for those ads!

Hi! I'm using Firefox on my Mac. Last update. My problem is simple: when I close Firefox, it doesn't remember the last size of the window. So, for example, I normally use it on the full dimension of the screen (but not in full size: I'll post a picture to explain, because I'm not good with words hahah). Instead, when I relaunch it, it opens like in small size (I'll post a picture of that, too). Is there something that I can do? Thx.

Hi there!

I'm using Firefox Quantum 69.0.1 (64-bit) and I cannot get rid of the additional status bar with the URL that shows up when I hoover over the link on the website (what I mean is depicted in the attachment).

I have tried creating userChrome.css file inside chrome folder in my profile to hide status-bar display, but apparently this solution does not work anymore.

Any help highly appreciated.

The second one was from Javascript when I was trying to figure out how to enable javascript (see screenshot). Yet when I checked about:config, javascript.enabled's value is "true" (see screenshot). The third one was from Firefox when I did a survey on why I decided to use Firefox (no screenshot). What am I doing wrong?

Firefox won't load my website on my computer, laptop or phone. It just churns on a blank page. Tech support at my web host says no problem there, and they can get Firefox to load it. On my desktop, I have tried the suggestions from Firefox: delete history, malware scan, disable add-ons, turn off antivirus, set to no proxy - no change. I also have problems with various specific web page buttons not working in Firefox that work in other browsers (to like a post in a forum, to select a pull-down list of numbers). My web page did come up without problem until this week. ??? I didn't change anything myself, but updates do happen. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'd like to stay with Firefox, but it's becoming hard to do this if I have to switch to another browser to get things done. The only common thing I can think of between my phone, laptop, and desktop in Bitdefender anti-virus protection on all of them. Windows 10 computers. Android phone. Thanks.

If I uncheck the box in prefs that allows websites to use their own fonts, it's fine. But then the sites look nasty. I've reinstalled Firefox 69.0.2 but its no better. It's a work Apple mac so I can't access all the settings but the issue is only on Firefox. Please don't make me use Chrome! Thanks

With the latest version of Firefox (69.0) I am unable to choose 'Always Enable' for Adobe Flash Player. This is not helpful especially on my own website - www.cheadlehulmeweather.co.uk which I run.

The Adobe content is world city times and an image of the moon's phase. I visit my weather site each day and have to enable Flash every time. Why can't you allow the user to make the decision themselves how long they wish to enable Flash for? How about a list of sites it can be enabled permanently for? That way the user can make their own choice.

For as long as I can remember, all my new tabs opened into a Google search window. But now, they open into a Search Mozilla Support window. That's not what I want -- I want to restore the Google search window.

I've checked the forums, and followed the advice on changing this: Settings > Search > One-Click Search Engines.

That doesn't work for me, because Mozilla Support is selected as my search engine, and the Restore Default Search Engines button is greyed out. When I click the tab for Find More Search Engines, there's no sign of Google.

Does Mozilla hate Google?

I'm using Firefox 69.0.2 on a 2017 iMac running OS Mojave, 10.14.5.

Thanks for any help!
