About a month ago all of my login passwords disappeared and firefox isn't saving them anymore. I tried using the logins.jason with key3 or key4 files from the Old Firefox but it keeps renaming them corrupt.
It's been asking to save my passwords but it's not actually saving saving them and this is turning into a real; problem.
I posted about it then but I can't find it and besides what they said to do didn't work and someone said it was posted in the wrong place or something so I'm posting it again.

I recently switched over to Firefox from using Chrome.
The issue I'm having is that when I search in the address bar, if there is a '.' anywhere in the search terms, Firefox will try to look for a URL instead of just google searching like Chrome would.
In Chrome, if I type 'mongoose.js' into the address bar, it knows to search google instead of look for a URL.
In Firefox, if I type 'mongoose.js' into the address bar, it will search for a URL and give me a server not found page.
Things I've done: 1) Go to about:config and change 'browser.fixup.alternate.enabled' to false. 2) Go to about:config and made sure keyword.enabled is set to true.
I would really like to continue using Firefox instead of Chrome, but this is a convenience feature that is a necessity for me. I realize I can just add another search bar next to the address bar, but this should honestly just be a feature and I shouldn't have to add more clutter to my browser.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have searched for an answer and all the results come back with "Smooth Scroll" inside Firefox. My problem is with my website. I have windows 10 and when I go to my website using FF, smooth-scroll.js doesn't work where it actually jumps to the anchor tag on the page rather than scroll smoothly. I have tested on several other computers I have in my workshop using vista, Windows 7, Linux and Apple and all scroll smoothly. I have asked several counterparts to have a look as well and they have said it scrolls perfect. My site scrolls smoothly using IE, Edge, Opera, Chrome and Safari and all work perfect. I tried debugging, I have disable and re-enabled hardware acceleration I have tried uninstalling FF and reinstalling with no luck. And I have Windows 10 fully updated.
Sorry for the long explanation but my question is, "Has anyone come across this issue using FF on Windows 10"? I know it's not an FF issue as it works on all other types of computers but perhaps there is a setting I have missed. I love FF and have used it since 2004 but this is driving me mad.

You might need to install other software to open this address.
There is no problem when I try same in other web browsers.

No matter how I decide to print PDFs, the browser automatically defaults to saving a PDF to my Downloads folder instead of printing it. Even if I click the "Print" icon or File > Print from the menu. It always just saves the PDF and I have to open it with another application to print it.
I've gone into about:config and reset my printing settings, but that doesn't fix the issue.

I'm running into a frequent problem. After using firefox for an amount of time, my bookmarks and history become "frozen".
The bookmark become kind of "read-only", I can't add, remove, or move any bookmarks at all.
As for history, pressing Ctrl-H still shows the links I visited, but all sites I visited after firefox "freezing" disappears once I restart the browser. All visited links don't change color to deep blue either.
As a result, I need to restart Firefox frequently. What is going on?

I am on Ubuntu 18.04 64 bit. I got the warning that my FF was out of date, so I clicked to download. Then I extracted it, and... nothing. What am I supposed to do now? Where is the right 'start' or 'install' file? Then I read that I should wait for Ubuntu's version. So I went to the Ubuntu software site and downloaded 65.01. That downloaded and installed itself automatically, which is what I expected. Then I saw several news blogs from the last 48 hours saying there was a bug that needed fixing immediately. I followed the information and downloaded FF 67.01. And then my archiver program said it could not open it because it was not the right archive type. I also saw something on your site about FF being self updating. That's not happening, either. Bottom line, I have a new but dangerously buggy version of FF, and apparently no way to upgrade it. Suggestions?

I want Firefox to automatically remove cookies and site data, when Firefox is closed (which I'm able to do), but I'd like to have some exception, so that my Google Search Settings or WebWhatsapp configuration is not deleted.
In the past, it was possible to do (and there are many threads, where it is explained), but the the current version of Firefox, does not seem to easily allow it. If 'I go to "about:preferences#privacy" and then to "Cookies and Site Data", I only have the following options "Clear Data", "Manage Data", "Manage Permissions" as well as "Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed" (which is an "all or nothing" instruction). There seems to be no way to customize that specific cookies don't be deleted, as it was possible in the past, at least not here.

We are small IT company and I would like the be able to share a specific bookmark folder to my colleagues. Share should include usernames and passwords for bookmarks in this folder. Being able to do this everyone will have access to company related logins. Creator should be the admin and shares should only be allowed to use the bookmarks and not edit or add new ones. a good example would be the way that Dropbox works, I can create a folder and share it to another account, by sharing it gets added to the shared users account, and I can specify if they can edit files or just view them.
I really hope that this could be achieved, for it will make our lives much better and more productive.
