Sometimes when browsing, Firefox will completely freeze, and stop responding to anything I do until I completely close it down and reopen. So far, I've observed it: - frequently while browsing tumblr (I don't have infinite scrolling turned on) - every time I try to open a film/show on Netflix from the homepage (but going there from my browsing history works) - sometimes when loading the YouTube comments section - occasionally when having multiple Firefox windows open - once or twice it's happened when simply closing a tab

So far, the only solution I've found is to start Firefox in safe mode, which is obviously not a long-term fix.

It is not possible to access Facebook, Gmail and some few others through Firefox, the websites keeps loading while all other sites works fine in Firefox. I can access Facebook, Gmail and the other sites through the other browsers without any problems. I have already tried to clear Cookies and Cache, but it did not help. The problem started after the 63.0.0 update for Firefox

I'm seeing a really weird issue - https://rs2018.raffworks.com/ - on Firefox PC only, after opening a couple of the items up, the scrollbar completely stops working. Sometimes one item, sometimes three or four. But then bang! the scrollbar just locks up completely and it's impossible to scroll the page.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? Firefox on macOS is fine.

I want to use my web cam on a certain website. I click on the little information button in the browser window and get sent to Permissions. I click the drop down for camera and get to the "Settings - Camera Permissions" page, where I cannot specify the website to grant permission for the cam to work on the site. I tried to upload a screen shot of that page, but it was unable to upload.

I read a lot about firefox sync, but not how it actually works.

I have two computers to sync. Both are connected to the same Firefox-account. What happens if one is set off and the other is running. On, of course on the running one, lets say, I add a bookmark. After a while I shut it down. What will happen with this bookmark since firefox-sync server is no backup? Will it kept there until synchronization has completed? Thus the other pc has been booted? What if both computers are running and on both different bookmarks are added?

Thanks

I follow instructions but this tool bar entry cannot be deleted. Furthermore the page that it reaches keeps changing. I am at a loss, because there seems to be something fishy going on, as though there is an invading malware. More than that whenever I try to do something, it goes to facebook check that I am not robot page where I am supposed to answer which is a car, which is a street sign. etc. I am worried that I got invaded by some hacker's tool. I reloaded firefox couple of times but it keeps coming back.

However, when Windows 10 Dark theme is enabled, I am only able to use the Dark and Light Firefox themes, not Default which is the one I would like to be using. When Default is enabled it's just the Dark theme for some reason.

Starting this morning, whenever I click on a link on www.nytimes.com, a pop-up appears that says "This page is asking you to confirm that you want to leave - data you have entered may not be saved." and requires that I either click "Stay on Page" or "Leave Page". I have never seen this before and it only seems to happen on www.nytimes.com. Has anyone else had this issue? If so, how can I make it go away? Is there something that may have changed in Firefox Preferences with the most recent update? See attached screen shot.

Dell XPS 13 Developer Ubuntu 18.04.1 Firefox Quantum 63.0.3

installed flashplugin-installer from repository "deb http://archive.canonical.com/ubuntu $(lsb_release -sc) multiverse"

confirmed flashplugin-alternative.so is in /usr/lib/mozilla/plugins and is a link to /etc/alternatives/mozilla-flashplugin which is a link to /usr/lib/flashplugin-installer/libflashplayer.so

There is nothing in ~/.mozilla/plugins

Flash does not show up in about:plugins and

https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player.html

says flash is not installed (so it can't be enabled).

I also tried adobe-flashplugin from repository "deb http://archive.canonical.com/ $(lsb_release -sc) partner"

and it did not work either.

I need Flash. Can you help?

On certain webpages the text symbols are obscured or replaced by what appears to be a boxed in error code such as the characters F1 on top with 07 on the bottom, encased in a box. I've tried the "gfx.downloadable_fonts.enabled pref on the about:config" to 'True' fix, with no luck. I've also changed the "security.sandbox.content.level and set its value to 1 (one) (default value is 3 )" and to '0' with no luck.

Bottom line is I'm not clever enough to figure out what the problem really is much less how to properly ask to fix it.

Any help or suggestions so I can actually see, and use, the proper symbols on many web pages is appreciated.

Many thanks

I saw the other couple reports, but could not comment since there's no way to create an account here.

The other reports mostly noticed the Title bar and theme issues, but being a web developer I also notice that half the internet is unreadable. No matter what theme Windows is set to, Light or Dark, no matter what theme Firefox is set to, Default, Light, or Dark, the same problem happens in any websites that do not explicitly declare the Body background-color and text color. So instead they become Grey and Grey, rather than White bg, and Black text.

Attached is one example, this only happens in Firefox, not other browsers.

When my cursor is not focused on a text box, when I click any letter on my keyboard, it immediately brings up the 'find in page' function. How do we stop this?

Ex. if I were to type 'v' or 'q', the 'find in page' function pops up at the bottom and begins to look for all v's or q's on the page. This sometimes happens when I am in a text box too (I think it depends on the website?) and often interrupts my typing. It is inconvenient and would greatly appreciate if someone could help me remedy this problem.

Thank you.
