I've noticed on two websites so far that when I click on "login with facebook" to log into the particular website, nothing happens. I've disabled the ad blocker, turned off no tracking, allowed pop-ups, cleared the cache and still nothing. The problem does not happen when I switch to Chrome. Using Firefox 58.0.2

My internet speed isn't great, and this browser keeps downloading stuff EVEN WHEN I HAVE NO ADDITIONAL TABS OPEN or they're idle.

I have "never install for updates" enabled and I'm very close to uninstalling this browser for good. Let me know why I should stay.

I am running 10.9.5 on my Mid 2011 Mac desktop. It is successfully running Firefox version 58.0.2 but keeps telling me there is a critical update needed. I have downloaded Firefox 60.0.2 MANY times and "'installed" it, but after the "update" it says it's still running 58.0.2. Is version 60 not compatible with 10.9.5? Suggestions on how to fix appreciated.

"A Web Page is slowing down your browser, What do you want to do? [Stop It] [Wait]"

LENOVO NOTEBOOK, WINDOWS 10.

It locks the browser, pops-up constantly, never stops.... The internet as lots of FF users with this issue and lots of "fixes" that do not fix. I have went back to v58-63 and results are the same. It basically makes FF not worth using even though I go back to FF v1.03. I have had to resort to Microsoft Edge [UGGGG]. I have run McAfee [Total Protection] many times, Malwarebytes many times but it keeps popping up. It appears on FF as a "yellow toolbar" at the bottom of the toolbar band [see attachment]. There is maybe another issue associated with it.

"freak out tabs". For no reason, 2 -3,4 tabs will "battle" with each other and alternately becoming active so fast one can not close neither of them and I have to exit the entire page and reload. Seems like Malware, some sick A$$ playing with us for using FF..

Next am going to try to delete ALL TRACES of FF. I can un-install but know that will not remove all traces so I can start over.

Any one know of an app/program that can WIPE FF off my PC.

My MacBook Pro (mid 2012) is version 10.11.6, and my Firefox version is 58.0.1. I'm told that my Firefox is "critically out of date" and needs to be updated. When I checked the requirements, it recommends Intel x86 processor, but my MAC has Intel Core i7 processor. Will the Firefox 63.0 version run on my computer, should I keep my 58.0.1 version, or is there something in between that I should try to find and install? Thanks

I know there's presently an Add-On issue but at 19:00 hrs on Saturday, I still can't get my Add-Ons back nor can I utilize the Add-Ons store.

When I try to get an Add-On it says I'm not connected.

Also, I find it kind of odd that there isn't some kind of timestamp for the message at the top of this page:

"We rolled out a hotfix that re-enables affected add-ons. The fix will be automatically applied in the background within the next few hours. For more details, please check out the update at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-ons-failing-install-firefox"

How do I know how recent that message is?

Makes no sense as you guys/gals are techies..shouldn't a time stamp be #1 thing to include in any mass correspondence?

Anyway, being that I don't know how recent that message is, I can't tell if my firefox has/hasn't gotten the fix.

I went to About:Issues and didn't see anything in there that would indicate that I'm even a part of any fix.

And yes, I believe I have "Studies" enabled.

Like you guys I'm sure, I hope I wake up tomorrow and open my trusty fox icon and walla, all fixed :-/

In the meantime, I'd welcome some individual attention to at least find out where I stand.

Thanks so much,

J.

Is there a list I can edit somewhere?

The problem isn't with my computer, or anyone else's for that matter. The software is the problem. And even in version 58.0.2, although faster than the disastrous 59.0.3, it also crashes a lot. And 59.0.3 crashes even more. It's very unstable. It would fail a beta test if issued as that. I've turned off updates so my version will stay where it is. And until it won't work with the current web pages anymore I'll stick with it. 59.0.3 is probably the worst version of Firefox ever released. One bad apple can spoil the whole batch.

Need help and do not understand why i am having these issues. My IT department will not "support" firefox but I use some external vendors that require it. I recently got a new computer.

Everyday I have to confirm security certificates for the same websites, even if I leave my computer on. Yes i have checked off to permanently store the certificates also and I am not in private mode. I have googled to no end for help and i am at a breaking point!

I have one site in particular that one I log in, it flashes to the screen I need and before I can do anything it takes me to the log in screen again. The funny thing is I am already logged in and it says "welcome yaddayadda" I have deactivated pop ups.
