I am using the Firefox Developer Edition which has a very nice Responsive Design View option. When in that mode there is an option to take a screenshot of the currently resized website.

I am wondering if there is maybe a setting somewhere that would allow to take a full page screenshot, instead of only getting the visible part?

I think that would be really handy, many times we need the whole resized design/page to show to the clients, at least from my experience.

I want to create a shortcut to a particular website on my Windows 7 desktop. I am using Firefox 45.0.1. The usual solution of dragging the icon left of the address bar to the desktop doesn't work. It just attempts to move the browser window to that location. I've tried this numerous times on different computers. Neither does the CTRL-S solution work as suggested by question https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/961873. It just creates a folder on the desktop, not a short-cut.

Does someone have a suggestion that does work for Windows 7?

For just over 1 year now, copied text will not paste into online forums. left-click HIGHLIGHT text - right-click COPY - right-click PASTE This FireFox Browser "is always" checked for updates on a weekly schedule. I also clear cookies 2 - 5 times a week. This is becoming ver-veRY-VERY! irritating when I write a fair amount of text and try to post it but cannot. WHEN will this FF problem be fixed?

QuickTime 7 and .mov files are saying they are corrupt at http://homework.sdmesa.edu/dgergens/chem100/math_basic_skills/math_basic_skills.html

This has never happened. These files have always displayed in FIREFOX!!!!!! Now the DON"T.

What is FIREFOX's problem????

MOV files display in Safari and Explore just fine.

Please HELP, this is KILLING ME. I am a professor of chemistry and need to have FIREFOX return to what it used to be, having my videos showing.

Firefox is my default browser, and Google.co.uk is my home page - every time I startup Firefox the url redirects to https://www.google.co.uk/?gws_rd=ssl and I get the SEC_ERROR_BAD_SIGNATURE problem. The message seems to happen on other https:// urls within Firefox but the same pages are easily accessed when using Chrome browser. I am using Bullguard internet security. Thanks in advance. Dave S

Recently installed firefox on a microsoft surface pro 4 and it briefly played but will no longer play files it identifies as PHP. Before the issue, Firefox did open this file without prompting me to "open with" or save the file, it automatically use to play the file, in my case, a video from BVTLAB.com, a school resource video. Another surface pro 4 with windows 10 opens this file (video) automatically. ?What can I do to get firefox to play this content automatically, like it use to?

Two days ago I completed a form to contact my social security (they don't reveal their e-mail...), a long letter with many questions. I'm pretty sure the text I wrote is still in Firefox's cache. But when I do about:cache and look for the right web address, I find a long cache document, but written in hexadecimal code (which I'm not fluent in... you can imagine).

I only after installed two add-ons: TextAreaCache and CacheViewer (which I'm pretty sure is better), but they seem to store cache data only after they are installed, and cannot access previous cache.

What can I do ? Is there something to do ?

Hello I just got a new computer and want to transfer the bookmarks from my old computer to my new computer. I saw someplace in the forum that if you backup the old bookmarks and restore them on the new computer, it would wipe out any bookmark on my new computer if I backup using HTML. I would prefer not to use sync.

Something went wrong with my Windows 8 so I had to Refresh it through the Recovery option . I ended up losing my firefox and had to download it again. Sadly, I have no backups of my bookmarks and history and they are very, very important. Is there any possible way I could get them back?

Just because I occasionally go to German websites, Firefox decided tochange my browsing to German. So now I can't pay for things I want to buy, because Firefox brings up pay input sites in German, with European zip code fields, which do not match the US fields. I have followed forum advice and cleared cookies and cache, no help. I checked my settings in Google Chrome, that says English. This is unbelievably frustrating. I NEVER asked any program to just mess with my language setting.

this is really becoming a problem. so many sites have links that absolutely will not open in FF - Java? I don't know. But Chrome always works. here's a sample:

I am in the process of setting up several new computers. I am going from an older laptop using Debian Linux, and I am setting up several new desktops and laptops running Ubuntu Mate. I want to know how to manually transfer my passwords, selected cookies, and bookmarks to the new computers. I do not want to use sync or the network (internet) in any way. I am not concerned about history, etc, and I can reinstall the latest version of any add-ons manually.

The bookmarks I can manually backup and restore, but the others are a bit more of a problem. I don't want to simply copy my entire profile to the new computers. I want all of the passwords, and selected cookies from places like my bank, so that I don't have to go through their question and answer sessions.

Please help!

For the last 2 days this malware has taken over my firefox browser! First I noticed that my homepage and new user tab was changed and redirected to safe finder. Even though I was able to fix that through a Firefox refresh, my browser still redirects to this safe finder yahoo search engine, whenever I try to visit a url directly or use the search bar or even use one of Firefox settings options (e.g. add-ons and options).

I've signed out of my firefox account, refreshed firefox twice and deleted the old firefox data folders each time. I installed avast and malwarebytes (windows defender win.10 was useless) to do a scan and moved some viruses to the chest during reboot. Then I went into safe mode and uninstalled firefox, checked all my processes although I didn't see any suspicious programs in my task manager and then followed with a disk cleanup before rebooting.

I still have these problems after reinstalling firefox and even in safe mode I still get redirected. Help!??

I have installed this wonderful addon, to help me replace my favicons lost in replacing corrupt places.sqlite. The addon is wonderful as enables a folder to store your troublesome favicons. So for me, gives me more control to backup and restore if they disappear again (which is very frequent on Fx upgrade for me)

Please note: The sync favicon addon has not been helpful. I still have many favicons that are not showing (that were there in pre-upgrade/replace corrupt places.sqlite)

• I clicked on the bookmark, and the favicon has not dispalyed. So I navigated to another page on the website, and the favicon is showing.

Running 64 bit Firefox 45.0.1 on Windows 7. Installed 64 bit Java jre-8u77-windows-i586 several times, but it doesn't show up on the Plugins list. Yes, I've restarted Firefox. I also tried installing it with Firefox shut down. I made sure the Java installation was going to the Program Files directory vs. Program Files (86) (at this point I think it's gone to both). The Java installer claims it completed successfully. The "Enable Java content In the browser" box on the Java Control Panel is checked. I considered falling back to 32 bit, but java.com only offers the 64 bit version.

I've never had this problem before. What am I doing wrong?

Firefox has installed a search bar at the top of my screen which is taking up space and duplicating the search field inside the FF window. It cannot be moved anywhere, cannot be dragged into the Customise section, does not respond to right-clicking, it's just there, and I hate it. I will uninstall Firefox and move to another browser if I don't find a solution soon. For my sins, I'm on Windows 10. Thanks for any help.

I cannot reach a website . I get Problem Loading Page notice and Connection Has Been Timed Out. On the internet page, I cannot reach the website. What is going on?
