Any attempt to tweet, retweet, or favorite one now shows a message telling me that my account might not be permitted to do said actions and suggests a refresh. Upon refreshing Twitter, I try to do one of those actions again with the same message. Assuming it could be one of my add-ons or the fact that I have Tracking Protection switched on.

Issue developed on October 12th, 2015.

Hi, no matter what shopping site I am on, I cannot add items to my shopping cart. I am new to Firefox - was using Chrome before. I've never had this issue. Thank you Monika

Hey, Today when I opened my browser my new tab page seems to have reverted back to the default display, which I don’t want. I’ve played around a bit with the newtab settings, none of which seem be able to change this, and have restarted Firefox with no success. Any advice would be awesome, also I’ve attached a screen of the settings under newtab, cheers

Firefox automatically upgraded itself to version 41 and now the Trusteer Rapport Endpoint Protection icon is no longer shown to the right of the address bar. It is still there and working in Internet Explorer. The same situation is happening on 2 PCs, both Windows 7 64 bit.

Surely Trusteer Rapport is a widely used feature - one would have thought a new release of Firefox would have been tested to work with it.

Hello, Im running Windows 10, and I have some pages not displaying correctly in Firefox. Started about a week ago. I have tried Windows System Restore, reinstalling Firefox, deleting cache/cookies etc... I updated Java and Flash. Nothing works.. Here is a URL to a screen shot of a page that don't work:

Since Update to 42 it keeps crashing 5-10 times a day.

In my work computer, Firefox always gives "sec_error_unknown_issuer" error and only on HTTPS sites.

I have browsed the forums and understood that this is most probably caused by a sofware that performs HTTPS scanning. (See [this](https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1030927) and [this](https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1026631#answer-650916) answer)

However, I really don't know which software is performing the HTTPS scanning exactly.

Is there a way that I can determine which software is doing the HTTPS scanning so that I will be able to add its certificate to Firefox and hence be able to use the Firefox properly?

I am not used to the bookmarks being in a panel either on the left or right of the FF window. I use tabs for places I visit and use Roboform to complete the entry to a particular website of my choosing. All the bookmarks I desire are in Roboform and rarely use FF bookmarks. Firefox is a wonderful tool and I use it exclusively, but sometimes they do come up with something that is intrusive to the way one is used to working. I personally do not like their bookmarks ad where the update has placed them.

I recently changed my browser to Firefox from Google Chrome. I have Yahoo email. For a long time, my computer has been very slow right after logging into Yahoo email and my email will freezes up. Now, with Firefox, when this happens, I will get a message box that tells me that there is a long running script and gives me the option to stop it, debug it or let it continue. It will also let me know who the script is from. Most times its s.yimg.com/....., but today I also got the message box stating a slow script from chome was running , even though I didn't have Chrome on. I went on to google to find out what s.yimg.com was and found several items about it, mostly stating that it was an annoying, harmful app that redirects searches and possibly tracks. Also called a virus by some but others said it was a component built into Yahoo. I've also read that it is associated with Firefox. Can anyone tell me what s.yimg is? Is it part of Firefox or Yahoo, or is it a virus that infects many apps and processes. Does anyone know how to get rid of it? Would appreciate any help I can get.

Basically I close firefox with all my tabs open, and then hadn't realised that a popup was open. I closed the popup without thinking about it and now when I click 'restore previous session' it just restores the one pop up.

Whenever Adobe flash player is activated on a webpage, plugin container causes firefox to crash either within one minute or whenever I tab out, whichever is faster. I have installed adobe shockwave and attempted to refresh firefox to solve this issue but it persists. Adobe Flash is up to date as it was just installed yesterday. Firefox Update Center without warning replaced my website with a "Firefox Security Warning: Your network segment is vulnerable to malware injections. Vulnerability level: 93%." Attached is a download & Install Now window "Firefox Patch setup: Your update is ready...Firefox patch version: 1.2 Build release date: 11/07/2015. No restart is required." The download FirefoxPatch.exe which is: Binary File (300KB) from http://227.hsq.couferedphp.net...Save file or cancel option. Is this from Firefox?

I'm going through hell to just get the URL for the Firefox browser/start page. I just did a factory image recovery and all I get after downloading and installing the Firefox browser is a tab that says "about blank." I'm not getting the URL in the address bar so that I can put that URL into my home page protection (I'm using Advanced System Care Ultimate). Once I get that URL and place it in the home page protection box of my security software, I will be good to go, because I want to use Firefox as my default browser. I've searched the FAQs and asked the question in every way that I know, in English, and there seems to be nobody out there who can just tell me the URL for this start page. While I don't understand why this is so difficult to get, I certainly need and would be grateful for a fix to this problem.

The search bar in the "Awesome bar" has recently stopped offering search suggestions, either from my search history or from Google itself. When I control-click in the search bar, "search suggestions" has a check next to it, and it is also ticked in the Preferences.

I've re-set network.http.speculative-parallel-limit to 0 and then set it to 6 and 10, with no difference. Re-starting the browser makes no difference.

I've been having problems with Javascript seeming to just quit working after the browser has been running for a while over the last several updates, which affects things like comment loading on some sites, Java-based menus not working, etc. but I don't know if that would be related to this problem. A re-start didn't solve things in this case, not today anyway.

videos on youtube won"t play correctly. i have tried everything i know of. if i start mozilla add-ons disabled it works fine everything is ok. when mozzila is running with ad-ons enabled and i disable them in the ad-on screen the videos are bad.

Many solutions have been posted, but they are relevant to Windows machines, not Macs. Macs have a fixed menu bar that is shared by multiple applications. Thus, the absence of the menu bar becomes a problem that, for me, extends far beyond Firefox.

These cross-platform differences mean that questions reported as "solved" by others (presumably Windows users) - remain unsolved for me. Here is one example: I cannot "choose" the menu bar among various toolbar options, because there is no such option available.

Firefox is my browser of choice, and I do not want to stop using it.
