I want to make the drop-down menu that appears with a Ctrl+D longer like you can with the Right-Click on a link and "Bookmark This Link" pop-up window. 5 Folders is really small -_- is there an option in about:config to customize this?

The mail support.mozilla.org page comes up blank in Firefox. If I use Chrome, it will display!!! In fact, in order to register with Mozilla support to ask this question, I had to use the Chrome browser! Unfortunately, the same is true for many sites with the green lock on the address. They will not display in Firefox but will in Chrome. As FF is my default browser, this is extremely annoying and has only started with the latest versions of the browser. Is there a fix for this problem? Thank you.

When I accessed my Contacts on Outlook.com (people/live.com) my contacts names are intact, but all the phone, mobile and work numbers, company name, notes and other information are missing from all of my contacts! The only information showing on individual contacts are their name at the top, the email and snail mail addy. I have over 500 contacts and most have other information besides just their names, email and postal address. When I select a contact that has multiple fields of information, such as phone, work, company, notes, ect. the field names show up but there is no data in those fields. Contacts where I've only input an email addy, no other field names show up.

When downloading my contact information from Outlook.com into excel file, all information appears in the excel file. When accessing my contacts on Outlook.com through IE and Chrome all the information shows up. My contact information syncs to my android phone and all information is intact. So it seems to be a communication problem with Firefox.

I have tried signing out of my Outlook.com account in all browsers, dumping all history and cache, trying different proxy settings under Firefox options (advance/ settings) with no resolution to the problem. This problem started Wed. or Thursday (8/14/15) and I am using Windows 8.1

I cannot access mozilla addons on firefox or any firefox based browser. Right now I'm on icedragon which is a firefox based browser and it also doesn't work. I reinstalled and uninstalled firefox about 10 times. Removed all registry entries etc and still cannout load the address addons.mozilla.com. The other browsers I use are explorer and chrome and addons.mozilla.com loads. When I try downloading an addon through the addons tab in settings the download of the addon fails. I hate using chrome but have no choice, please help.

I'm using a userstyles skin that makes FF look like MS' new Edge browser.

I have this one thing that I can't figure out. I want to remove that vertical separator in the url bar between the reload button and actual urlbar, or at least put a little bit of padding in between as it looks cramped now.

Can't figure out the code. See attached.

Thanks.

I originally had an issue of Google Maps crashing my Firefox 40.0.3 every time I load the page. I tried following the troubleshooting here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/troubleshoot-extensions-themes-to-fix-problems?redirectlocale=en-US&redirectslug=Troubleshooting+extensions+and+themes

and it works in Safe Mode, but: 1. I'm on default theme already 2. I turned off hardware accelerator 3. I disabled all my extensions

and it STILL crashes. So based on this article, I can't figure out what else I can disable that would cause the crash.

Not sure if this information helps, but when I tried to load the mozilla support page titled "Ask your question to our community of users", it crashes firefox every time unless I'm in Safe Mode (which I am right now to post this).

There are probably millions of Norton Internet Security users. We just went through major problems with Firefox 40. I just upgraded my systems to the newest release of Norton Internet Security - 2014 (NIS21), and now Firefox 41 has blown NIS out of the water due to some facility being removed. Are you trying to drive millions off of Firefox???

There is no warning to users on this. I just happened to research this. Lucky I didn't have FF auto update on.

Why has this facility being used by Norton been removed?

I'm extensively using Firefox everyday on my notebook (if needed - it's ASUS N550JK with Windows 8.1) and I have like 100+ tabs (but only like 10 of them loaded at the same time). As I'm working on notebook I close Firefox (or restart or whatever) very rarely. So after some time like a day (don't actually know exactly) Firefox starts gradually loosing performance like scroll becomes more choppy and etc.

As my profile is very old I tried resetting it twice already (the last time was a couple of versions ago), but it's all the same. What can I try in this case?

So, this pop-up was randomly displayed in a new tab in my Firefox browser a moment ago. After an extensive scan of my system using Windows Defender and Malwarebyte's Premium, I found nothing. Upon further investigation into this popup, I've found it to be unique in the fact that I failed to find anyone else exhibiting a similar URL and pop-up method. Any ideas on how to find the source/remove whatever is causing this popup?

IE 8 has no problem with loading the link but firefox just wont recongise what the file type is (see image attached). The document number D15/0000001 at the end is what we change to select the right document.

This is the example of the link; https://trim.det.wa.edu.au/docserver/getfile.aspx?RecID=%20D15/0000001

I have the same problem with 40.0.2. Last time I had a crashing issue, I was told to upgrade my OS (Ubuntu Linux 10.04 LTS). This is not an answer. There are ways around this non-supported OS. Instead what I was finally able to do was change a parameter in about:config from false to true and the problem was corrected, with no more crashing. Now that you've gone to the level 40.0.2, the change I made in 37.0. 1 does not address the reason for the crashing. I suspect a video driver as the reason, not an audio one. Here are my latest 5 crash reports. Please let me know if you can help me: bp-6b4e32e5-3975-4f5f-b65e-3494b2150823 08/23/2015 12:33 PM bp-e2ed7016-2cf6-48af-9acd-6483d2150823 08/23/2015 07:37 AM bp-c207c40e-c5e1-41d8-a4b0-29e7f2150822 08/22/2015 06:32 PM bp-af55efd8-da7b-42a8-aeaa-400c52150822 08/22/2015 04:53 PM bp-bf8574e3-0462-4ebc-a114-ef6412150822 08/22/2015 04:45 PM Thank you again for your help. I heard 64-bit Firefox for Windows is coming in Firefox 41, which is to be released on September 22. I have the 64-bit version of Windows 10 on an Intel i5-4200U processor. When I click 'About Firefox' to upgrade from Firefox 40.0.3 to Firefox 41, would Firefox automatically upgrade from 32-bit to 64-bit, or would I have to go on www.mozilla.org and request the 64-bit version personally?

I have 8 GB of RAM on my Dell Inspiron 5537, and I am quite eager to see how much better Firefox will perform in 64-bit computing.
