When I was checking out Plug-ins and updating them, I was not prepared for the Adobe DC with Cloud and the other things it has to offer. The Adobe XI that I had contained my PDF files. When my Vista OS fell apart, I lost quite a few things. The only thing I do not like is that you cannot get the older version of Adobe back on the desktop unless you are an IT person, which I am not. I know it has to be on the hard drive. I have tried to download it, but it comes up this an error stating that Adobe DC is the version I want. I have a Dell Windows 7 Professional Inspiron 3847 2013. I just wish I could have my Adobe XI.

Hello,

Environment : OSX Moutain Lion, FF 33.0.2, new FF user profile created.

Through a proxy I get a "blank white screen" displayed.

- Proxies are fully functionnal (e.g. I can use them as system-wide proxy with Safari). - The website I'm trying to access "gets" accessed : flush-dns extension displays the ip of the remote site in the status-bar so I guess a request FF is reaching the remote site.

I have ALREADY re-created a new user profile but I still have the same behavior.

Any idea ?

Thanks,

Cheers,

Hello, My name is Alan M. Lubeski the Walt Disney World animator and imagineer. I have been using Firefox for years now and never had a problem. last week I noticed something strange started happening with the browser. When I scroll down on the Twitter followers page my browser would freeze and or crash. It also happens when I upload a large batch of files to my Facebook. I am not a computer expert but it seems anything with allot of images causes the browser to do this now. Could the browser be trying to cache every image on a page at the same time as it scrolls causing it to fill up 2 gigs of memory and then crash or freeze? I watched the task manager next to the browser as I scrolled down and as I scrolled down the memory usage for Firefox would just keep going up until it hits 2 gigs and then Firefox stopped working. I made sure it was not my add-ons, I did system maintenance and I ran several anti viruses and I made sure everything was up to date but there was zero issues and or reasons for this problem. I would hate to have to reinstall the browser because I have everything set up the way I want and need for work. I made no changes so I don't see a reason to go through all of that. I find it strange that this would just start happening on its own! Is there a real quick fix for this so that I can get back to work? I need my browser so I can manage my sites and upload my new art for my fans to see!

Hello I've just migrated to a new computer (Windows 7 64-bit) I've installed Firefox (37.0.2) and migrated my preferences and settings from previous computer. In options, I've set Firefox to save passwords. But it won't.

Some of my logins/passwords were migrated successfully from previous profile, but not all of them. When i log in afresh, firefox doesn't save the new info and doesn't ask me if i want it to.

I looked around on firefox help and read something about disabling hardware acceleration and perhaps certain extensions. I disabled the hardware acceleration (no change) and have no idea what to do about the extensions.

This is driving me crazy !!! How can I fix this please ?

thanks for help !!

Firefox Sync on my laptop does not work when my laptop is connected to my home network, but e.g. if I'm at my office.

The internet connection at my home is fine, I can surf the web with that very Firefox on both IPv4 and IPv6, DNS etc. is also working. Logging in to accounts.firefox.com also works, as does connecting Firefox to the Sync account. Only the process of syncing itself fails. On my desktop computer at home, I have exactly the same problems. When I open https://sync-209-us-west-2.sync.services.mozilla.com/ in a browser tab, I see a confirmation message that sync runs on that server, so apparently the network path between my computer and that server is free.

Upon investigation with Wireshark, I see the successful TLS handshake, then some packets from the client that are not answered and after some time the server closes the connection (Encrypted Alert). Apparently, no content is transferred between client and server. I attach a screenshot of how Wireshark sees the conversation between server and client (The image upload here didn't work so I put it on the web: http://ibin.co/1zXABHKdj5mA).

To exclude a possible misconfiguration or bad add-on, I created a clean new Firefox profile and connected it to my Firefox account, but this shows exactly the same problems.

Fun fact: Firefox on my Android phone does sync in my home network.

Below, I will link two log files, one successful sync (office network) and one failed sync (home network): Sync @ office: http://pastebin.com/rZmfrbdL Sync @ home: http://pastebin.com/a3KUCevJ

I just installed Windows 8.1 to my computer, and I am currently using the latest version of Firefox. I've noticed that after I've used the browser for a while, when I am watching a stream/video, or scrolling/clicking through pages, the browser stalls temporarily for a second.

The thing that stops the choppiness is restarting Firefox (both with and without addons). While the browser turns choppy, I tried other browsers like IE to see if it applies to that as well, and it behaves more smoothly.

After a while, it gets really annoying having to reset exit and start up the browser, every time it starts to get choppy. Any guesses as to what could cause it?

Ok I was wandering what would happen if I would have full html5 features on youtube So I searched on internet and found out how to enable the features so I ended up enabling this on firefox

media.mediasource.enabled;true media.mediasource.mp4.enabled;true media.fragmented-mp4.exposed;true media.fragmented-mp4.use-blank-decoder;true

After I enabled this features I got the ability to watch 1080P videos and even 60 fps versions were available but the sound did not work anymore. Instead of the original video audio I was getting one long tone sound.

So is there a way to fix this issue or I should create a bug report?

Thank you for your time

I bought a used laptop from a pretty reputable computer repair shop (has very high ratings online) and this computer is a Windows 7/8 os.

I noticed right away that I had a redirect problem. It has taken me a while to try to resolve this issue (other than my anti-malware software) and recently I found out how to go into my settings and set up the "warn before redirecting". This works in a few cases but I am still getting redirected in MANY occasions, though not every time on same pages/sites.

I have checked all of my add-ons and am not sure which one(s) might be bad. I have Adobe add-ons but I always downloadthose and update those directly from the Adobe home.

Anybody have any OTHER suggestions to stop these annoying redirects?

How can I make the playback buttons of YouTube and other plug-ins bigger since they are so tiny in Firefox? I tried some suggestions that dealt with entering "about:config" in a fresh browser, but to no avail. I also downloaded an add-on called "Theme Font & Size Changer", but that didn't work either. So, I am reaching out here as that was a suggestion that another user here offered.

When I right click on a demo item (music clip in this case) that is for downloading I get no options to be able to download it. It used to give me one until had to refresh Firefox (due to me inadvertently allowing another site to change the settings and configuration I was using.) When I use Internet Explorer the downloading works fine (like Firefox used to.) Also when viewing a YouTube video there used to be a Download button that I used to download. Now it's no longer there.

I am having a problem with Java and firefox. Any webpages that use Java either cause firefox to hangup(tabs are still clickable, and the window title changes but the page does not), or crash all together.(I can't even use the Detect Java app on their website, it just causes the hang, and never recovers)

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Java and Firefox several times in different orders and nothing has corrected the problem yet. Java does not work in safe mode either. I am running Windows 8.1 Pro, Java 8, 45, and Firefox 37.0.2. I suspect that it a problem with either my computer or settings in Firefox because I am not getting any popups asking me to allow/deny pages that want to use Java like I get with IE. But Java does not work in IE either.

If there is any other info I can provide please let me know, I'm going nuts with this trying to figure out the problem and I'm stuck.

Hello,

I started having problems with my computer yesterday after I opened the Mozilla Browser

I purchased Spyhunter figuring it would fix the problem. I ran a thorough check and fixed the issues shown.

Problem has not gone away.

First, I have spent all day trying to get rid of a so-called virus. Came from a page pcfixing1.info. Said i have a virus and dial 1-885-286-0309 to talk to a technician.

t am using windows 7 and Mozilla Foxfire as my browser. I deleted Mozilla and tried to re download. The pop up prevented me from doing so twice.

Now, keep getting pop up banner ads from company called "FlashCoupon". Company gave me the option of disabling the ads. However, the company said, if I deleted my cookies, the banner ads would reappear. I should not have to keep or delete my cookies based upon another company.

How did I get this "FlashCoupon"? What is it and how do completely get rid of it?

Any help would be appreciated.

Ever since upgrading to OS Mountain Lion I have to provide my email address for a particular website if my Mac has been restarted, even though I indicate on the website that I want to stay signed in to the website for two weeks at a time. When I had OS Snow Leopard, at this website I did not have to input my email address more often than every 2 weeks, no matter how often my computer was restarted.

What settings in FireFox preferences should I input so I don't have to input my email address at this website every time my computer is restarted?

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.
