After I open a few different pages or tabs within the pages, the plugin-container.exe max's my cpu usage and the system hangs horribly. It comes back and then hangs again. The plugin-container is reasonable new, because I don't recall seeing it in the Task Manager. Is there a way to fix this?? I know it's related to some apple piece of garbage software that I could totally do without if that helps.

Despite following both Firefox and Flash directions, Firefox won't play videos from YouTube, Hulu, etc. They either never load or they load and freeze within seconds. Before I got the latest versions of Firefox and Flash, I did not have this problem. So there must be a problem in one or both of them. Since I understand from various websites that this is a widespread problem, can Firefox fix this? It's a major flaw in the latest Firefox version.

Firefox no longer asks to save tabs before closing firefox. It warns me that it is about to close all tabs but no longer asks to save them.

Bing maps has stopped working completely. I,ve used this extensively in the past. Just stopped August 2, 2010. I Have mac 10.6.4 & Firefox 3.6.8. I don't see any comments or posts on this problem at Bing community forums.

Hello. to start with im not really up on the ins and outs of ff, ive used it for a while but not really tinkered with till this problem

Im running Vista (no comments on that please :p) and the latest version of as downloaded from the mozilla website (3.6 something)

my plug-ins are (version number): 2007 MS Office system (12.0.4518.1014), Bio3D (12.0.0.733) - this comes with ChemDraw i think, ChemDraw (12.0.0.733), getPlusPlus for Adobe 16287 (1.6.2.87), Java Deployment Toolkit (6.0.210.6), Java(TM) Platform SE 6 U21 (6.0.210.6), MS Office Live Plug-in for FF (2.0.4024.1), MS (R) WMP FF plug-in (1.0.0.8), Mozilla Default Plug-in (1.0.0.15), Novell iPrint Plug-in (5.3.0.0), Novell iPrint Scriptable Plug-in 1.0 (5.3.0.0), Quicktime P-in (7.6.6.0), Shockwave Flash (10.1.53.64), Silverlight P-in (4.0.50524.0), Windows Presentation Foundation (3.5.30729.1). Ive been on numerous fix-it sites but cant find a solution i understand or can get to work. the problem still occurs in safe mode and with only shockwave flash enabled (this seems to be the issue) and after numerous reinstalls, i have also deleted all i can find of adobe and shockwave then reinstalled to no avail :(

I just got my new laptop and installed FF, but some websites have scrolling issues.

I have already tried running in Safe Mode and the issue remains, so I assume the problem is not any of my add-ons. I have also updated my gc drivers and re-installed FF, but to no avail.

I do not have this issue when i use Internet Explorer.

XUL runner 1.9.1 self loaded at some point. By trial and error I found out it was redirecting my Google searches for "Anti Virus Software" to web site other than I clicked on. I have looked in registry and found no reference. I did a clean re-install of Firefox and it is still there. The extensions "uninstall" button is greyed-out.

When I open Firefox after closing a browser session, I get this message. We noticed you may have signed in or signed out in another window. Click OK to reload your page. How can I stop getting this message?

I have the latest version of Firefox as well as Java. On Pogo.com some games play properly while others do not. The screen just has game loading. Now if I log into Pogo.com on Firefox in the safe mode, every game works properly. Pogo says it is a Firefox problem and I tend to agree. On the same computer I also run Internet Explorer 7.057 and have no problems with it on Pogo. However I do not like using Internet Explorer. I much prefer Firefox. Any suggestions?

I just upgraded to Firefox 3.6.8 and now every time I try to watch a video on a site like youtube the screen is black and it says 'an error occurred, please try again later.' But when I tried with a different browser called Galeon it played. If I clear the cache and then refresh the page it will play using Firefox, but isn't there a way to fix this? If it's a bug, when will a patch be out? Side Note: I use Ubuntu Linux, if that makes a big difference.

It has been some times that Firefox didn't keep the tabs I had when my last use. So, all the tabs were gone when I restart Firefox, despite that I already chose the 'save and close' option. This problem occurs now and then, about twice a month. Two issues raised; 1. Is it possible and How to retrieve those lost tabs, when I find the tabs are missing the next time when I start my Firefox? and 2. Can I myself fix this problem, or it is just can be fixed by Firefox ?

I made a folder to hold bookmarks of one type. when i tried to add another bookmark to this folder the folder will not show up so i can add this bookmark, the box only extends down a short distance, none of the folders are in the order they are supposed to be, and the one i need i can not access.

The Silverlight plugin crashes every time i try to watch a video at the Universal Sports website. I have uninstalled this plugin and re-enstalled it many times with no success

Firefox recently doesn't load pages anymore, or it loads them only partially. The startpage (google) is sometimes loaded completely, sometimes it appears only blank. If I go to other pages, FF aborts the loading process and only the background color is loaded, or it appears completely blank. But he states, that the page is loaded... The connection with IE works, and it seems, when I load some pages in IE and visit them after that in FF, a little bit more of the page is loaded. It is no problem with a firewall (since I am not running any, only a hardware-firewall). I have also created a new profile, and reinstalled firefox. Antivir is running but the problem remains when I deactivate its processes. It may have something to do with a virus, which I removed beforehand...

The last 3 versions of FF have been crashing repeatedly, sometimes while in use, most often when idle and open to one or more web pages.

I have a ton of collected crash IDs. The box below won't hold more than a few. Here is the list from the Aug 7:

When I try a search using my google toolbar it becomes unresponsive, and when I open Tools > Addons, a pop-up appears saying unresponsive script, which is followed by firefox crashing. How do I fix this?

I don't know what I did to make this happen. Files only open if they are SSL (with padlock). Consequently, when I search Google, I can't open anything. I can't even find a way to download the latest version of FireFox. When I try to download it, I see and endless "download..." with several dots. I can find know way to correct this.

When I downloaded the latest version of Firefox, the print was so small I could barely read it. what do I need to do to enlarge the print without losing some of my tool bars...?
