Hi! I don't know why picture quality in firefox is low ! I Know that firefox had resizing problems before with SVG images that now fixed , but my question is not about some specific image types , my question is why all pictures specialy smaller Thumbnails are blurry ! for example ,see these Thumbnails in this page:

Open this page in different browsers (ie , chrome) and you can see that Thumbnails are so good and sharp in other browsers like ' chrome '. i'm really like firefox and using it for a longtime but why firefox users don't deserve

a clear and sharp image !?

At last you guys can apply some Sharpening filters to images and make them so much better and sharper . i'm just curious no one noticed this difference before !?

In the end pardon me because english isn't my first language ;) THX Very mUcH For your time.

now running firefox 24 on a Sony Vaio, running Win 7

For a couple of days, when we go to msn.com in Firefox, the buttons on page, just below the navigation bars, are covered with a white rectangle, and unavailable to see or click. The buttons are for Outlook, Skype, Bing, etc.

When we go to msn on iexplorer, page shows as normal.

I did just update firefox (not sure which version was running) and have rebooted the computer a couple of times.

When I enter fullscreen mode I'd like all toolbars to auto-hide, and maybe only show when I move my mouse to the top edge, or when I hit Cmd+L or such. Other windows that are not made fullscreen should keep their toolbars in place.

My reason for going fullscreen is to have the entire screen dedicated to the current website / webapp. It's no use getting rid of the OS toolbars if I can't get rid of Firefox ones.

Chrome calls this feature Presentation Mode, it's in the View menu right above Full screen. The latter does not hide toolbars, just like Firefox's. So I guess what Firefox calls "full screen" is actually consistent with that of Chrome, but it lacks Presentation mode. Is there an option or an extension to add it?

Also note that this is very different from the various Kiosk mode extensions. I don't want Firefox to start fullscreen, to limit browsing to the current website, to disable right click and keyboard shortcuts, and all the other limitations put in place by Kiosk mode extensions.

My website, www.intimacytravel.com is not displaying affiliate links properly using PC Firefox. It's fine with MAC firefox and Internet Explorer. Any suggestions as to what may be causing this problem? Also, I'm wondering if what I'm seeing on my PC is what others are seeing when they click on the site. Can anyone confirm this?

I followed the instructions below:

If you'd like to Disable Firefox's Click-to-Play feature,

Type about:config in the address bar and press Enter.
Press the big button to bypass the warning.
In the search box, paste plugins.click_to_play
In the search results, double-click plugins.click_to_play to set its value to false

And it made absolutely NO difference. I'm so sick of having to click to play on everything I want to scream. Does anyone have any other ideas? This is the only one I've found and it's not working.

With the latest Firefox on Windows 8.1, if I right click to save an image, it doesn't work. The Save screen comes up, but the buttons along the bottom are missing. The blue circle is spinning. Then it will say "not responding: and there is no way to get out, except to close the program. I've tried turning off other programs and starting in safe mode, with no add-ons, but I have the same problem.

Weird issues with YouTube navigation

Hi,

I'm a new Firefox user and I did a fresh install of the latest version today, as well as installing some extensions. Everything is working great, except I have some navigation issues with YouTube.

If I go to the YouTube homepage, then I press the back button to go back to the previous site I was on, it doesn't work. What happens is, I stay on YouTube, except now both the back and forward buttons light up in the toolbar. If I press back again, I go back to the site I was on previously, so I have to hit back twice every time. If I hit forward, I stay on the page I'm on, but the forward button greys out.

Also, let's say that I am on the YouTube homepage and I click on a video to watch it. At that point, I can click back to go back and it works as normal, but when I do that, the forward button is not lit up, so I can't go forward to the video that I just watched.

These issues only affect YouTube. I've been browsing around the web using Firefox for a few hours and all other sites seem to work just fine.

Any ideas? Thanks.

How do I add other search engines or sites to my drop down list? When I visit a site nothing comes up in the drop down menu to 'add it' like the instructions say and you can't manage it to add. I want to add Dogpile and at the Dogpile site it says 'add to browser' but it doesn't. If I want to add cooking sites to the search engine box there is no icon to add it. I have 12 search engines to choose from, that is all.

I have a laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium x64, which I had to reinstall recently because of some hard drive problems. I used to be able to play MP3 audio files directly on Firefox, when I clicked a link to a MP3 file a new tab would open and the audio would start playing. But now I get a window asking me whether I want to open it (with Windows Media Player by default), or save it, and I can't play MP3 files with HTML5 <audio> tag, supposedly my browser doesn't support it. I've read that in Windows 7 Firefox plays both H.264 and MP3 through Media Foundation, and I can play H.264 videos without problems, so I guess it's some problem with my MP3 codecs or something, though I can play MP3 files with Windows Media Player. Also, media.windows-media-foundation.enabled is set to `true' in about:config, so it's supposed to work, but it doesn't.

What can I do?
