Ok I have a new problem with the new Firefox. I just updated my Firefox to the newest version. But while I’ve been using the old version I use a very good feature I liked about Firefox a lot .that was the cache folder and cache files used to create for using software like downloading so many kind of files like videos pictures and any content I’ve browsed on the net by Firefox. All those files been there in a folder in this location (C:\Documents and Settings\A\Local Settings\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\r52ck3aw.default\Cache) and I could use that to preview all those files but now when I go to that folder there is just like thousands folders and none of my file is there you only can find a few of them. Please don’t tell me that I no longer have that folder and cache files like the old versions? Please help?

I'm using Firefox 17.0.1 I have a proxy configured which requires authentication. The username and password are stored in the password manager. However every time I restart Firefox it requires a confirmation of the user/password settings. How can I turn this off? I set the signon.autologin.proxy to true, as suggested in another post, but the confirmation request is still shown. Thanks!

I have a blinking cursor/mouse pointer when I am using Firefox for the past two or three days. The blinking cursor only happens when I surf; all other programs do not have this problem. I have the latest version of Firefox installed (17.0.1). Using the F7 key, I have turned caret browsing on and off with no change. I have tried to restart and shutdown my PC, along with restarting Firefox. I do have the Ghostery extension enabled, but I have been using Ghostery for months with no problem like this. Babylon search downloaded with Firefox Download. I have removed the toolbar and altered the search and set Google as my browser but Babylon search comes up first each time I open my browser. I have reset all defaults but Babylon still comes up. I have run Malware and Super anti-spyware programs. Nothing shows.

The Babylon "program" is hiding somewhere. I also get underlines in my browser and links that I do not want. Ideas please.

I downloaded the latest version of Firefox and I noticed that I get re-directed to other sites sponsored by "Info Atoms".

I called myself removing it by looking up troubleshooting tips elsewhere. I was told to go into the registry editor ("regedit") and locate the files and delete them. I did that and I still get redirected to Info Atoms sites, and see pop-up menus under fields where I am to type in a key word search.

This only happened since I got Firefox. None of the other browsers on my PC had this.

I just want to know how to get rid of it once and for all.

It's not listed in my programs list, does not turn up on a search done from my START menu. It's buried somewhere in my registry settings.

The problem started a week ago. I don't know what started it. I updated flash but it didn't fix the problem. Other browsers could load youtube, but my primary browser is Firefox and it would be a hassle to open other browsers for a video.

Running auto updated Firefox 17.0.1 on Windows 7. I used to be able to stream Netflix just fine until late in the evening, 11/30/2012. I tried to stream a movie and Netflix showed a window saying it couldn't due to a problem using Silverlight, code 2103. Netflix suggested I remove and reload Silverlight. I did, twice. I also updated Firefox yesterday, just in case. Still, no joy. I can stream Netflix just fine with Internet Explorer. What gives?

I can access Hotmail from another computer without problem. I think I changed something in tools that might have caused the problem. All fixes and virus checking are up to date.
