saw a post that recommenced to installing K-Lite Codec Pack would help so that i could set 1440p on Twitch because the option is greyed out for me. after installing it, twitch gets hung up and never finishes loading. it loads in a private window, and on edge too. i turned off the few extensions i have but that didnt help either.

i uninstalled the codec pack but im still getting the issue.

if i hit F12 i see theres an error Loading failed for the <script> with source “https://assets.twitch.tv/assets/6411-9f5e77558af00b1acec0.js”.

I am trying to create a csv file of my passwords to import to Microsoft Edge from FF. I went through these steps in Firefox:

Settings>General>Import>Select Passwords from CSV...

...and then it takes me to browse my computer for a CSV file that I have YET to create. I don't think this is how you create such a file.

I'm not sure how to import my passwords to create a CSV file so I can put them into MS Edge. When I tried importing my password (and all my other data) inside of Edge via Edge, it only brought in 235 passwords from Firefox where I have 422. So I would assume if I used and imported my passwords to Edge via a CSV file instead that all my passwords would populate in Edge not roughly half of them.

Could you please tell me how to create a password CSV file in Firefox to use in Edge?

Whenever I play something in the browser while connected to my TV by HDMI, the sound still comes out of the laptop speakers. This happened suddenly, without any discernible reason, and I can't seem to fix it. Everything else works, only content played from Firefox remains in the laptop speakers. I've checked my audio mixer, nothing seems amiss, I've updated Firefox and refreshed the application, still nothing. Hell, I've even tried different cables and HDMI ports, but nothing works. What could be the issue? Why did my audio suddenly stop working, and what can I do about it?

Tried the PiP mode with YouTube and it didn't work for me. The video pop-up still appears even after un-checking the box in settings; once I click the X button on the pop-up, the video pauses, and will unpause only if I return to the original tab and press play. I've tried the following:

- Restarting my computer - Used keyboard shortcuts to close the pop-up - Blocked autoplay media on the YouTube website

Mozilla sidebar has been replaced by "Choose an AI chatbot to use in the Firefox sidebar." How do I undo this and return to Mozilla standard Firefox sidebar. Not at all what I want to do. Help

Since yesterday, some of my tab groups don't fully collapse when the group tab is clicked. Instead, one tab in the group remains fully expanded, followed by a number indicating how many other tabs are in the group. A screen shot is attached.

Since I enabled tab groups some weeks ago, tab groups have behaved as expected. When the group header is clicked, the tabs in the group spread out to be visible and clickable. When the header is clicked again, all tabs in the group collapse entirely behind the header tab.

Most of my tab groups are still behaving this way. But new groups are now displaying one full tab plus the number, no matter how many other tabs or tab groups are already occupying the window.

Since the behavior is inconsistent, it doesn't seem to be a setting. Is there any fix?

I really like using the "Shortcuts" (Top Sites) feature on the Firefox new tab page. However, there is one problem: Firefox automatically adds new shortcuts from recently visited sites.

I would like to keep only the shortcuts I manually pinned, without Firefox suggesting or adding new ones automatically. Currently, if I disable browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.feeds.topsites, all shortcuts disappear, and if I leave it enabled, Firefox keeps adding unwanted sites.

Could you please add an option to disable automatic shortcut suggestions while keeping only pinned shortcuts? This would make the feature much more convenient for users who prefer to manage their shortcuts manually.

Issue: A regression in Firefox version 142.0 (64-bit) breaks the display of the CAPTCHA widget on the login page for https://my8k.me/login

Evidence: The two attached images provide a clear comparison:

   Image 1 (Firefox 142.0): The CAPTCHA area is completely missing or fails to load, showing only a broken element or empty space.

   Image 2 (Other Browsers / Older Firefox): The CAPTCHA renders correctly and is fully functional, confirming the problem is isolated to the latest Firefox update.

Conclusion: This indicates a specific compatibility bug introduced in Firefox 142.0, rather than a general website or user configuration error.

I'm conducting research on the web but nothing is being recorded in my search history which is really annoying as I need to refer back to it at times. I can find it under recently closed tabs. Please can you advise what is going on?

My Firefox browser is missing the close button from the top bar. Minimize and Maximize buttons are present.

This is happening on Fedora 42 With Gnome.

I believe I don´t have any custom theme or user css or extension that could cause this.

Also because, it seems to be hapenning not only in Firefox itself, but also in Firefox based browsers, like Tor Browser.

Anyone has any idea what is hapenning?

I installed chatgpt, but I've found it more of a nuisance than a help. I've tried on-line to find out how to remove it but none of the suggestions seemed to work. I'm using the latest version of firefox on a Macbook Pro. Any ideas welcome. Charlie

For a while now firefox has been unable to enter fullscreen when pressing F11. Instead all it does is move the "Scroll forwards", "Open a new tab", and "List all tabs" button over slightly (The buttons on the top right, next to the minimize and close buttons).

I don't know what's going on with firefox.

Every couple of minutes Firefox just freezes. YouTube buffers, all open tabs just stop working. I can open new tabs but i cannot search up anything or go into any websites. Is there any fix for this?

Using Firefox--When I try to access the daily set of images that comes in an email representing memories for this day which is pulled from my Onedrive Photos, all I get is a dark blank screen with a subtle pulsing wave as if it is searching.

I get the same thing when I go directly to my OneDrive Photos and try to pull up the daily photos there.

However, changing browsers and using Google Chrome--I can view the images in the memory email as well as those on my OneDrive directly

What does Chrome do that Firefox is not?

I recently had another browser related issue on a different problem trying to register online with Directv which would not complete with Firefox but when I used Google Chrome instead of Firefox, it worked.

This made me wonder if the above OneDrive image problem might be browser issue. Sure enough, it was.

I really prefer Firefox and I do not want to have to go to Chrome.

On a new tab page, I have unselected "recommended stories" and added four rows of shortcuts. Almost invariably, when I open a new tab, Firefox has added a couple of new shortcuts, bumping two of mine off the page. The shortcuts I've selected are the ones I want. I would like Firefox to stop making suggestions. Does anyone know if that's possible, and, if so, how do you do it?
