Hello,

I am wondering what if anything regarding settings, customization, data, etc is likely to break if I perform this update? THis has happened in the past and is why I turned auto update off. Should any intermediate updates be done to stepover/convert any of the data structures to a newer format?

New to me Surface3 pro tablet. Have FF on my desktop, want it on the tablet and synced with the desktop. Download and install were fine up until i went to log in on the tablet. I mis spelled the email address and did not notice until the codes never arrived. I cant find a way to get FF to "forget" what i entered. I uninstalled hoping that would do it and deleted the FF old data file it saved on the screen, but no matter what i do it keeps coming back to the old misspelled entry and does not let me log out or change it. What to do! Tablet is running W10 Pro Send this from my desktop also running W10Pro

While I was doing my banking I got an error message saying I was running an older version and needed to update my browser. When I updated to the latest version of Firefox all my bookmarks and passwords got dumped. All of them. I can't find a previous profile to reinstall anywhere or an option to install a previous version. How do I roll this back?

Firefox cannot access my bank account. Bank says hello to my name when I log in, but then keeps saying "loading" and can never show me what is in my bank accounts. Why?

Hello, I need help. I downloaded and installed Firefox (latest version), the icon appears in the taskbar, but when I click on it, FireFox does not launch and I always get the same error message. I uninstalled, reinstalled, restarted the PC, but I still have the same problem, even starting from firefox.exe in Windows (C:) >Programs>Mozilla Firefox. Could it be possible that Microsoft is blocking the launch of Mozilla Firefox? Thank you in advance for your help. Attached is a screenshot of the error message. I always was a fan of firefox 56.0. When ever the updates are available I decline. I got it before and had to redo some stuff the way I like it. I have heard others complain about these problems and now youtube is all messed up. Where I have my tabs there is some discoloration and the tabs are missing a lot of sites I had in them, I guess my computer did the latest update. How can I go back to FF 56.0?

Pretty niche problem, but I couldn't find anyone else with the same kind of problem. Whenever I try to download a file with "%" on its filename, the "%" character gets changed to an underscore. Like say, if I try to download a file named "Skyrim 100% save file", it becomes "Skyrim 100_ save file". Not sure why this is even happening, but it only happens in Firefox. Not Chrome nor Edge.

I have tried updating Firefox a number of times to 115.0.3 and each time I have had to roll my PC back to a pre-update state because I get a warning from MS Defender that I have a Trojan. What do I do in order to update the program without this very disconcerting warning?

Hello, For me, there is no substitute for browsing with Firefox. But for some time now I've been getting notices that I'm not using the current browser version, for example in my email program and the banking application. However, Firefox info in the menu says that I am using the current version and there are no updates available. Here is the Firefox version shown to me: 78.15.0esr (64-bit) I work with an iMac of the following version: iMac (21.5 inch, from 2010) - OS X El Capitan version 10.11.6 (15G22010); - Processor: 3.06GHz Intel Core i3; - Memory: 4GB 1333MHz DDR3; - Graphics card: ATI Radeon HD 4670 256MB Maybe my computer is too old for the latest version, but why does Firefox Info show me that the browser is up to date and there are no updates? I have Mac OS 10.14.6, so Firefox stopped working with its latest update. So I downloaded Firefox ESR. I want my passwords, history, and browser data from my original firefox, but when I go to the Import Browser Data function, my original firefox is not listed as an option to import from. And I can't launch my old firefox in order to export the data to an html file. So what can I do? Thanks!

I tried to log onto Youtube so I could make a few comments on a football game. They had to send me a code to my email (HOTMAIL) BTW I never received a code to LOG into YouTube. I used "Snip & Sketch" as I have many many times before but now I open a photo to edit it and Microsoft has taken over my photos. I mean as far as my editing capabilities. I've tried all the "OPEN WITH" options but can not get to the basic photo editor. Need some help here... Thanks in advance Steve

I just checked to see if there were an update to Firefox, for my secondary laptop. But for some reason it wants to update from "Version 115.0.3 (64-bit)" to "115.1esr".

I have never used ESR in my life, so why does it want to update to ESR?

Is this expected, or is there a problem with this? It is intentional that I use my Windows 7 64-bit laptop.

I use chrome for personal use on my Macbook for all personal stuff. I use Chome on "this" windows PC for all my work stuff.

I would like to use firefox on "this" pc for all my personal stuff, and keep using chome for my work stuff to keep everything totally separate.

What's the best way to import all my personal login stuff from chrome on another computer to mozilla on this computer? Thank you!
