Firefox allows the show password option in the firefox password manager This is an extremely dangerous situation as it gives someone access to all your passwords if they have your windows login and your Firefox password is saved in Windows.

This means that if you save your Firefox password to Windows, and someone gets access to your PC, they can get a copy and read of all of your account names and account passwords in the Firefox password manager.

Access opporrunities for example are a technical support person working on your windows account.

A security update should change this to encrypt stired passwords and remove the show password option in the Firefox Password Manager.

After the Firefox upgrade to version 89, the icons disappeared from the menu. When I look at the changes page, I see that they have been specifically removed. In my case, the functionality of the Firefox menu has been severely compromised by losing those icons. So far, I’ve used those icons as a mechanism for faster navigation between different points. Because it is faster to recognize a single icon (character) than to read text. In the past, toolbar items overlapped menu items with icons. And now not. Not only that, the layout of the menu items has changed.

My suggestion would be to return the icons. And make them show / hide through settings.

A new version has been released - 89. And the user interface has changed again. And some of the changes are very annoying. I thought I would write a feedback (review). But I found out through google that the feedback page has been down since 2014.

So the question would be where can I leave feedback on one change or another?

Dear Firefox community, I do not know why you are not solving your browser-short time memory loss problem! When I download a video / file, the internet is disconnected in the middle, and it takes a while to connect, then the download starts again from 0%! It wastes both my time and the internet. If the power connection is disconnected while downloading again - I don't get any backup of that file when I connect to the internet after the power connection is restored ...! However, other browsers have this advantage. I like Firefox a lot, but this short time memory loss system bothers me a lot. I hope to fix this issue in the next update. Firefox opens in a small box at the top left of the computer screen about 1/9 the size of the viewing area. I have to click on the "maximize" icon (the square box(es)twice to get a normal viewing screen. Note: I am not referring to "full screen." This began after the last Firefox update. I have cleared the cache, cookies, data, etc. and startup cache and restarted Firefox and the computer. I haven't "Refreshed" Firefox, yet, because I don't want to go through the hassle of putting everything back together if it isn't going to work. How do I get Firefox to open in a "maximized" window?

Since yesterday June 10, 2021, when I click on my bookmark for the New York Times, it loads the page from Feb 26, 2020. I have tried removing all cookies, restarting, rebooting, but nothing works. With Chrome I get the correct first page, but not with Firefox.

Is this happening to anyone else?

I am attaching a screen shot. It says the correct date at the top, but all the articles are from Feb 2020

For some unknown reason, my default fonts are not appearing correctly in Firefox. Here are the things I've tried:

1. I've checked the same sites with Edge and Chrome. 2. I checked the "Fonts and Colors" section of Firefox - both the regular and Advanced parts. 3. I've done the Firefox reset (I can't remember what it's actually called). 4. I've uninstalled/reinstalled. 5. I've deleted the Mozilla folder from my %AppData% folder. 6. I've signed out and uninstalled/reinstalled. 7. I've disabled all extensions and plugins. 8. I've made sure I have the newest version.

The only time it works correctly is when I run Firefox in Troubleshooting mode.

Now I have only one tab visible. I can only get to one tab. I feel like I'm back in the days of Netscape Navigator. How do I get the old look back?

With the upgrade to FF 89, the font used to display text on the browser itself (not the webpages it displays) has changed to be a thinner and possibly smaller font. My eyes do not like this!

I need to be able to either make it bold, or make it larger, or possibly both. I have tried changing the font in the settings page, but that seems to only apply to webpages, which is not what i need.

I'm running win 10 on a Toshiba Satellite laptop and Firefox v.89.

Thank you for any suggestions.

I posted a question re menu bar colours and received a reply but now I cannot find my original question to continue the conversation. How do I do that? Help me please.

Hello ·´¯`·...¸>-)))º> ~dbben Thanks for reply. I see the 'simple themes' box but it doesn't give me what I want; ie there is still no option to colour in the menu bar. The options displayed under 'more themes' completely baffles me. What are they supposed to do? I dare not select one (even if I could see how) in case I cannot return to the theme I have at the moment. Neither is there any indication that I can see that tells me which theme is currently set.
