To open a link of a website in the background tab is CTRL+click, why is it that to open a bookmark of the bookmark toolbar in the background tab is CTRL+shift+click. It is confusing! A bookmark is a link! For comparison, both of them are CTRL + click in chromium. BTW, there is no explanation in advanced configuration preferences.

So on my macbook when I enable fullscreen the anmation is super weird. first it stretches the video to the top and then just expands to the whole screen, when I go out of fullscreen is stretches to the bottom and then goes out off fullscreen. for example on safari it just expands the video until it takes up the whole screen. I have gone in about:config and disabled the fullscreen animation but that did nothing.

OS: W11Ent_x64 V: 22h2 (b: 22621.3447) FF: 124.0.2 x_64 I tried several "Group Tabs" add-ons, like: Simple Tab Groups. Tab Group. And I few I can't even recall the name from. Yet, none works. Not ONE.

Now, I use Edge as well, on my corporate system that I got from work. Personal PC I use FF on.

But, the Edge Tab Grouping, which allows tabs to be "put to Eco-Sleep", while hidden the open tabs by clicking the Group-Tab Icon, is a feature I sorely miss in Firefox.

Odd, as, so many requested this feature, how come it has not been implemented over the many years of people asking?

Either way: Does anyone know a good, WORKING add-on that does the "Edge Thing" with FF tabs, please? Since, I often got like 200 tabs open, which is a real misery without Tab Grouping and "Hiding".

I added my own shortcuts and deleted all the preset ones (Wikipedia, Twitter, Amazon etc). On deleting the last one of the default ones, the 'Add a shortcut' button has completely disappeared. Is there another way to create a shortcut?

The past two days Ive had about a dozen addons all updated with the same similarity, i.e.

Every one has not been updated for 6-7 years. I don't see any release notes. Is this some sort of qualifying re-certification procerss?

Basically, I copied this from an old post that I didn't understand the solution when I move my mouse to the top of the screen in fullscreen, the adressbar and tabs come up, I hate that how do I fix it

I have Multiple Google play cards and the Play store won't accept anything..I have sent Multiple documents..emails..receipts..basically everything they have asked, I have sent in..they have kept my main Google account in flag state for almost a year..when I have been giving them all bank..ids..etc that they ask for!! The attached photo shows the startup page that appeared today, yesterday that page had 12 of my most frequent websites loaded in place of the ones you see now. This page keeps changing on me and it's infuriating to have to remake it every few months.

I'm trying to add the Adobe Acrobat extension for some forms since I prefer it over the app, but it does not seem to be available in Firefox's extension add-ons. The instructions I found from Adobe themselves don't seem to account for the most recent version (unclear which version I have, I got it off the microsoft store) and there's a FAQ board saying the extension is only available for versions 73 and older. Is it simply not available for me or am I not looking hard enough? Thanks!

Can I have more than one bookmark toolbar at the top of the screen? I am a teacher and I have at least 12 maths bookmarks I would like to display as well as my standard / personal bookmarks.

I visited about:support for the first time today, and I notice a list of Add-ons I was unaware of (i.e. I did not installed these), and I have questions.

Some of these made me think about the search shortcuts I see in Firefox's search setting:

Are these preinstalled in the Firefox browser? What is their function? Are the search shortcuts and these add-ons associated?

On the iPhone and iPad it is possible to automatically open a desired URL when opening a new tab. But is it seriously not possible to do this on a Windows PC? It doesn't make sense to me, as browsers on PCs usually have more functions and mobile browsers have fewer functions.

is there any Collections where category wise someone can save web sites ?

Presently, I do not find any. Hence, i am using Pocket and keeping there creating Lists, but it is not so cosy kind, Shall request Firefox team to create Collections in Firefox on windows 11

As you can see here, despite me setting custom colors and checking every setting i could find, i can't seem to find what will turn this white color to grey or black,

I have managed to figure out ways to remove items from context menus from various pages here and around the web however it always seems to leave an additional unwanted separator line that I cannot find how to get rid of.

There are a number of additional lines I am looking to remove but the current one that is annoying me (based on most usage) is the additional line between 'Copy Link Without Site Tracking' and Search which is an add-on - Simple Context Search - https://tinyurl.com/yck5c (as shown in the attachment).

I did have 'search google for...' directly above the 'Search for Google' option which I removed.

I also removed 'Copy Link' which was above the 'Copy Link Without Site Tracking' option which I also removed.

Hope the above makes sense and any help greatfully appreciated.
