I've got an issue on several websites in 115b2 (but it's been an issue since at least 112) where Firefox inserts a bunch of
after a single newline. I've tried toggling editor.use_div_for_default_newlines, which had fixed this back in 92 when set to false. But now, true or false, I'm getting a bunch of line breaks when I'm not expecting them. This is only an issue in Firefox, Chrome/Edge does not have this behavior when using WYSIWYG editors. I can go back into the editor and clean out the additional line breaks without them being resubmitted, though.

example, there should only be a single line break between "message" and "more message":

I'm getting loads of SSL errors when trying to connect to various web pages. The errors don't seem to relate to the target pages, something in the connections fails.

The symtoms appear to be similar to this closed bug which doesn't seem to have been resolved. https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1378352

Two of the more recent errors were: SSL_ERROR_DECODE_ERROR_ALERT SSL_ERROR_BAD_MAC_READ

There were several more which I don't remember.

Has anyone come up with a resolution?

I'm new to Firefox, usually in other browser, like Chrome and Edge, when I use the selector to choose element and click on it, it will bring back the console but it doesn't seems to happen in Firefox. ( I'm using separate window for the console )

Hi all, I've got a puzzling problem with just one desktop PC on my network, and only in Windows 11 (fully updated) - the same PC when booted into another OS (Ubuntu) works without any issues.

I have a fresh install of the latest Firefox as well as the Developers Edition. MS Edge is also updated to the latest build, yet none of them can load the "accounts.firefox.com" page.

All I get is a completely blank page, save for a blue circle on the top left corner. I've tried all the usual resetting, Troubleshooting Mode... etc, (issue is present in Troubleshooting Mode) and pretty much stumped at this point.

All other websites I've tested with all browsers don't seem to have any issues at all, including the likes of "accounts.microsoft.com" or "accounts.google.com".

Google hasn't turned up with any results matching exactly what I'm seeing with this particular machine/problem... hoping someone can help pointing me in the right direction.

Using latest version of Firefox - 116.0

Unfortunately recently I have been unable to drag files out of the 'Downloads' At the same time, I noticed I can no longer copy images from pages.

I will right click, copy image and it just does not go into my clipboard.

In terms of the Downloads, I'd always download audio or video files and drag them straight into Premiere Pro - I can no longer do this. I cannot drag it outside of Premiere either, so it's not an Adobe bug.

hi!, so i downloaded a couple videos on mozilla, i saw them in my downloads but i didn't open them, now i delete them from mozilla and they were automatically deleted from dowloads and i can't find them in my recycle bin either.Is there a way to get them back?

If I search for something in the address bar, Firefox will endlessly load. I need to click the address bar and hit enter to search again which will instantly load what I'm looking for. Same thing happens if I highlight a text and click search with google. URLs seem to work fine.

I am using Firefox developer edition I noticed it has updated itself to latest version  : 117.0b1(64-bit)

I always have Firefox updates so version before that was the 116.b08

After the update on startup I get the error message attached I close it and then Firefox runs normally but this happens on every time I run Firefox.

So I'm running firefox developer edition, and with the same extensions on normal plain firefox, the search results kinda lag behind. If i type fast enough/normal speed, the words underneath the actual typing bar will lag behind. if i type slowly it doesnt do this...

Why when I drag & drop files to Outlook only URL is pasted instead of file? Is it possible to change this behavior? In Opera browser it works fine. Example in attachment.

Latest version install (116) causing functionality issues in Google apps, and other Windows 10 apps. Tried to install an earlier version and that did not work. Tried the Beta version (Current 117) and no changes.

I've just installed Firefox Developer. I cannot get Mozilla VPN added to it. Can you help? Do I have to remove Mozilla VPN from the old Firefox installation before it will work?

Also, can I run both Firefox and Firefox Developer at the same time? I'm concerned that Profile entries an other variables might be corrupted.

Last, are there any articles or videos available to help users learn how to use FxDeveloper?

I recently made a post that was resolved where enabling "Remember search and form history" would hang my browser.

In regards to this option, I really want to keep the "remember search" function but disable the "form history" option.

I'm aware that in about:config, the option browser.formfill.enable removed the form but is there a separate option to enable remember search?

I am developing a website (using AstroJS, but i don't think that's the problem) and since yesterday I am experiencing issues when opening devtools. Once I open devtools the whole FF tab becomes unresponsive, I cannot even refresh the page until they are done loading. I can change devtool tabs from 'inspector' to 'console' to 'network' etc but especially 'network' and 'debug' tabs are blank.

I run a 'performance' capture and got these results. In the test I have only opened the devtools and switched to the inspector tab which is unresponsive. The CPU usage is at around 90% however, I don't really know how to read the finding and understand what the problem is.

So anyone that can help me understand what is going on here?

With a recent update of Firefox Developer Edition to version 117.0b9 i keep getting extremely annoying popups on all sites, asking me if I want to translate stuff.

I don't want to store unnecessary settings in my browser, related to exceptions to websites/languages that I want vs. does not want to translate.

I want to completely disable translations, globally. Forever. Two questions:

- Why there is no "disable translations globally" checkbox in the newly added popup? - Is there an about:config hack to do disable translations globally, for all languages, for all websites, and forever?

A setting I would like to change in both Firefox Beta and Thunderbird Beta is "grayed out" and has a lock next to it preventing change. What configuration file(s) do I look for to find where they have been locked, so I can unlock them and change the setting? Thank you.

On some sites like youtube, crunchryroll, and other sites usually where it's main purpose is to play videos my sound plays fine. However, on other sites like osu's website, chess.com, duolingo, and others, there's no sound at all. I've tried refreshing, restarting, running in safe mode, and even reinstalling the browser but none of it has worked. My tabs are also not muted. Does anyone know how to fix this?
