As the title says - no Podcasts, YouTube, or embedded videos. It's possible it may be an add-on issue, but given that the issue is so completely comprehensive, likely not.

Using Firefox 85.0b2 (64 bit) Windows 10. Both Firefox and Windows 10 updated themselves in past couple of days.

Previously Firefox played videos on YouTube. Now it does not. (still image appears, and spinning circle but nothing further; and then YouTube suggests try restarting my device).

Videos still play OK in MS Edge.

I have tried all advice I can find, including clearing Cache, clearing cookies, and resetting Firefox. Starting Firefox in Safe mode. Restarting Windows and Firefox multiple times. Nothing has made any difference.

Can anyone suggest anything else to try??

Hi Mozilla, I write this message here since I can't find a good place to contact you (bugzilla.mozilla.org maybe?)

Anyway, I'm a huge fan of everything you do and how you do it, and I don't hesitate from time to time to donate to the foundation.

I'm aware that most of your products and services are free, and therefore you need more resources than only donation.

The reason why I send this message, it's because I think you could add a new (paid) service to your list. A reliable and robust MX mail server system, that we could rent each month.

I'm actually renting 2 Cloud VPS, and my biggest issue was to have a trustable mail server that would not look suspicious for spam filters (spam assassin, Google etc).

That's the only reason why I pay a Google Suite every month.. to have a reliable and solid @mydomain email, and be sure my emails will be delivered every time. But I would totally prefer to give you this money better than them.

I know there's other solutions already, but I think it make sense for Mozilla to have this service, since emails and mail servers are very sensitive regarding privacy, personal data etc. and we all trust you more than Google empire.

I don't know if you can read this, but please tell me if there's a better place to send this message.

Firefox recently changed the Show all Bookmarks shortcut from Ctrl + Shift + B to Ctrl + Shift + O.

Ctrl + Shift + B shortcut moved from Show all Bookmarks to Show/hide the Bookmarks toolbar.

For what reason and how stupid do you have to be to change something that had remained unchanged for years?

Or am I the stupid who cannot understand what the inevitable reason is to complicate people's lives?

I tried to add a secondary email 2 days ago. For some reason, this email can't receive mail for 2 days. It is workable today. So I try again. And a error message said "tried too many times, please try again after 15 minutes". After 15 minutes, still fail, another message "Your email was just returned. Mistyped mail?".

I'm very sure the email works normally. So how can I add this email as a secondary one? I'd tried another email; it can be added. It seems the reason is related email address. Firefox version:84.0 // Windows 10

Since today (16 dec 2020) I can no longer play videos from f.e. Facebook or Pinterest. Whenever ik click play I get "the little wheel" which keeps on turning forever...

Is there a solution, and is this due to the latest update? I removed Flash Player some days ago...?

When I perform a search with google with Firefox Developer Edition 85.0b1 and click in a Stackoverflow link the browser performs this behaviour:

1. A tab with clicked link is opened with no history. 2. The tab with google search is closed.

I performed the same test in standard version of firefox and the behaviour doesn´t occur.

I am unable to log-in to Outlook through my Firefox Browser, I can however, log in using MS Edge and IE browsers. I have tried:

• Refreshing Firefox
• Deleting Cookies, Cashe, and History
• Disabling the "Block Pop-Ups" option
• Clearing any saved data, i.e. log-ins, passwords, etc.
• Uninstalling FF, Shutting down, rebooting, reinstalling, downloading FF, and logging in to Outlook without first logging in to my FF account, and after logging in to my FF account
• Making FF my default mail app in my default programs.

Nothing works!!! Please Help. -David

I have a new windows 10 laptop

i just installed firefox

as a try to enable sync i type in my email i type in my password it ask for the PIN sent to email, but i did not get the email ( i checked spam )

i retry to enable sync and i get :

The confirmation email we sent to ***@***.*** was returned and we’ve locked your account to protect your Firefox data. If this is a valid email address, let us know and we can help unlock your account.

my email is working i did test and its working fine

how do i get sync to work?

Hello,unfortunately I am not the most computer savvy person (sorry). I have been experiencing a few problems with Firefox over the last month or so. I currently use a Mac desktop and a Macbook and they sync together. I keep Firefox up to date as updates become available. My Macbook is fine but on my desktop I frequently have to Force Quit the application. In addition, I cannot clear my browsing history, cannot add a new bookmark nor able to delete a bookmark. I thought at first that maybe a bookmark I added may have caused a problem (?) on my desktop but the problem did not transfer over to my laptop upon syncing. I was thinking of uninstalling Firefox and reinstalling it but I wanted to get an expert opinion. Is there a fix for this problem, have I done something wrong? As well, in your opinion are ad blocking applications such as 'ADBLOCK' or 'U BLOCK ORIGIN' compatible with Firefox / Apple Mac? Thank you in advance for any assistance you can give me, and thank you for continually delivering a superior browser!

But the answer is 3 years old and nearly 30 FF versions ago, and furthermore requires lowering security. Is there a newer, better solution for fixing the problem with seeing question mark boxes instead of glyphs for certain fonts? (And one that doesn't require me to constantly toggle "Allow pages to choose their own fonts, instead of your selections above" in Preferences, which only works sometimes anyway.)

I don't see what Google Chrome calls "Издатели, не имеющие доверия" (Untrusted Publisher) here.

I don't know which version had this change but not long before, I could type "y " (note the extra space character) and press enter to go to Youtube home page via address bar because "y" is my Youtube search engine shortcut word.

Now, when I try to do that with the latest Firefox, the search bar stylistically changes to indicate I'm searching in Youtube but pressing enter without typing any search term no longer launches the Youtube home page. I don't see the reasoning behind removing this feature, so I'm posting it here to let it be known. I hope the change is a bug and not intended.
