ive been using firefox for a long time now and i appreciate how compared to other browsers i have less ai jammed down my throat. i thought the crossword widget added recently was fun and ive been enjoying it every now and then. so i really do wonder, why would firefox put the ai-child-porn-lover who begged jeffrey epstein to let him come to his pedophile island on the crossword?

After recent update, The auto scroll feature will not stop working no matter what I do. I have unchecked the box and have set all auto scroll Items ti false but the auto scroll will not turn off. How can this be turned off or a new release / up date? I have gone from 32 bit to 64 bit after the last update as well.

On two different Windows machines, current Firefox (153.0.1), the alt-d shortcut stops working: it does nothing until I restart Firefox. Then it works again for a while. I've tried about:keyboard and it's not reset there. I tried all combinations: Clear, Reset, setting it to alt-d explicitly. None of those worked. But when I set it to alt-a, that worked--but then resetting back to alt-d again didn't work. That shortcut is muscle memory at this point, so it's quite distressing. Not sure what diagnostics might be available to help here, happy to try anything.

Full disclosure: Both machines are Windows 10 but since that's stable, I find it hard to believe that's related.

I want to add ContentAnlysis policy in Mozilla Firefox related implementation DLP in my company and have mandatory to add this policy in Mozilla Firefox, but i dont know how to add manually in firefox.

the goal is, when we open about:policies in mozilla, there is a lot of content analysis policy show up there.

the parameter is: AgentName Symantec_dlp PipePathName brcm_firefox_cas Enabled true IsPerUser false ShowBlockedResult false DefaultResult 2 AgentTimeout 300 Interception Points > Clipboard Enabled Interception Points > DragandDrop Enabled Interception Points > FileUpload Enabled Interception Points > Print Enabled

I don't want to follow football. I don't want to see world time. I don't want to download Firefox for mobile. I don't want to change my home screen background. I don't want any new widgets automatically enabled.

Kindly tell me if there are any setting/options/flags (including in about:config ) to avoid any new popups about all those very useful features for as long as possible.

I REALLY don't want to see prompts like this ... when FF upgrades to a newer release. I postponed clicking on adding this application since I really didn't know what it as going to do, or how to remove it once done. The little 'i' in the red circle did nothing. So - I finally clicked on it to make it go away. Not hat I call a very seamless upgrade.

Hi,Sorry to post this again,But I have spent over 4 hours trying every thing I can to correct it Since the last update,It totally Changed all my settings I managed to correct them,all BUT one & even though I have tried & Tried,I cannot remove SEARCH BAR on Toolbar Menu I have Been Through all Firefox Settings But Nothing Works & I have even removed all extensions,but NOTHING WORKS It was never on it before until the Update & it is a total Nuisance plesaea assist Thank you Darryl

i have no use for the 'profile' tab on the tool bar, how do i perminately remove it? i can not drag it to overflow, it drags the entire toolbar. very frustrationg. also i have no need or use for 'open in split view' in the right click menu. all both of these things do is clutter up the tool bars. please make it easier to remove these things.

Why is there not an option to say "no" to Firefox automatically loading when you restart your computer? There is only "yes" or "not now". I am not interested to my internet browser loading and opening once I have restarted my computer. I use my computer for much more than browsing on the internet. I am tired of always having to click the "not now" option to only have it show up the next day or two days later, where I then have to click, yet again, the "not now" option. I even went into Firefox settings and have not found an option to "op out" of this particular feature. Can you please add a "no" option to automatically opening upon restart.

The shortcut change feature in Firefox does not have an option to disable CTRL+SHIFT+S shortcut function that saves the screen. Is it possible to disable tor change the shortcut. Very frustrating. Thank you.

My Firefox appears to have replaced site security info at the left of the address bar, with a search function. I need it back. How do I revert to the security info it had previously? I also have a separate web search bar, and do not want web search from the address bar.

Hello, Firefox. So I have this feature whenever I type. When I type my first letter, it is capital, and whenever I add an comma to my sentence and hit the space key, it adds an period. I don't remember enabling that feature, and I want to disable that feature. Is there any way if I can disable that feature? Thanks in advance!

Whenever I select text and click on the highlighted text, I'll try grabbing it at where the first letter is highlighted, since that's what I'm used to on any other platform, and it doesn't register, as if i clicked off of the highlight. It only happens when i try dragging it. is there a setting that can help change this to let me drag the first letter?
