After todays automatic update all (!) my logins and bookmarks are gone. How do I get them back?

I updated Firefox a few minutes ago and closed everything to let it finish. When I reopened it, all my bookmarks were gone. I checked the restore option in the Bookmarks menu, but only today's date was available, and clicking it did nothing. I found the bookmarkbackups folder in my profile directory, but there's only one file—859 bytes, which is basically empty. I'm signed into a Firefox account now, but my bookmarks aren't syncing from the server, which suggests they were never synced. Is there any way to recover them, or are they just gone?
if you could restore my old bookmarks good if not. I do not want this to happen again so i might not use firefox any more

Hi, I recently had to reinstall windows and I lost access to my Firefox bookmarks. I did not manually export my bookmarks before reinstalling and now i couldn't find them in my current Firefox setup. Is there any way to recover my old bookmarks or restore my previous Firefox profile date? can you please guide me on what can I do to retrieve them if possible? thank you.
My computer did updates and Recently closed windows is greyed out. There is no Restore previous session and Control Shift T doesn't work.

Firefox crashed and now my shortcuts have gone and the bookmarks are not easily accessible. I tried importing from the desktop but they are now in a long list and not as they were (in the toolbar. I can't gt the "bookmark summary" showing in the toolbar area.

I just got a samsung galaxy s26 (old phone is not available); when i accessed my Firefox, my Collections were missing. From other research, it seems that Collections are not available anymore. However, there must be some way to recover the websites that were stored within them, so i can at least rebuild them.
