Hi

I would need some help

Example. Let's say I'm using FirefoxTranslations to translate an average-sized article, on Wikipedia, from German into English.

On the top left hand side of the screen, FirefoxTranslations tells me it has downloaded 17'140'835 bytes.

It always seems to be the same amount of bytes. This is downloaded for every single translation.

I thought that, once downloaded, the vocabulary would be stored, locally, on my computer. Permanently.

Doesn't look like it's happening.

What am I doing wrong?

I had 20 tabs open on one screen. I moved one tab off the the 2nd screen so I could see info between two pages at the same time. When I was done, I closed the browser with the 19 tabs so I was left with one tab browser on the 2nd screen. Unfortunately now I lost all 19 tabs because when I click restore Recently Closed Windows (tabs) the only thing that listed is the tab I already have open.

This has been an issue for a LONG time. I have to remember to close the temporary browser tab 1st then close the main browser with all the other tabs open LAST. I HATE that I lose everything if I don't close the split browser in that order.

Starting a couple of months ago, images do not load in emails sent by Constant Contact despite the domain of the sender being in Outlook safe sender list. This does not happen in Edge or Chrome or Safari. Interestingly, adding a new domain to the safe sender list will result in Firefox very briefly displaying images then refreshing with them removed.

All of my other bookmarks are accessible as normal. Previously my links to www.legislation.gov.uk worked normally but two days ago the link (and sublinks to specific legislation, which give different line and column numbers) has received the following error message

I installed CLIO integration in my Outlook email and i use Firefox as my browser for my email and other online business activities. The integration worked well for a while and then there was an update and when I installed the update, I noticed the integration did not work anymore and I am unable to save emails like I could before.

How do I disable Ctr + End keyboard shortcut when editing text inside a text box?

Every time I use Ctr + End when editing text, page scrolls down. It gets old and is really frustrating. Is it a bug in Firefox or crappy code of webpage?

Firefox uses around 1 to 2GB of RAM and around 25% of the CPU with just around 10 tabs open along with a YouTube video. A chromium based browser on the same system and the same tabs open uses around 400MB of RAM and around 10% of the CPU. Safari with the same tabs is even more efficient

I have tested this with safe mode, on another system with the same hardware but couldn't find what's causing the problem. I have uninstalled all dynamic themes as well.

Firefox does not use this kind of resources on windows or linux but uses something more close to chromium numbers (tested on a desktop PC, AMD Ryzen 3 3200G)

While I do not expect Safari levels of optimization, this problem only arising on Apple Silicon Macs is a problem worth solving. This is the only thing that's keeping me from using firefox as a daily driver and supporting the open web.

Just curious, how is it that Firefox does NOT reace to the windows 10 display manager? All other app windows do what they're supposed to do whtn you use the "taskbar + right click" function to cascade windows, show windows stacked, and/or show windows side-by-side.

However, Firefox does minimize with windows + D (show desktop/show windows).

NB: Not critical. Just convenient when I have too many apps [10-12] running at the same time.

In case user network namespace are disabled on linux, fork return ENOSPC, as the user network namespaces are exhausted (as the limit is set to 0 [1,2]).

It would be great if there would be a work around for such a situation that user network namespaces are disabled. It would be even better if firefox could handle that situation gracefully and run without `CLONE_NEWNET` automatically.

Firefox stopped opening Amazon, Youtube and others. This started after the last update of windows and Firefox. I have spent the last 2 days trying to find answers on the help page but nothing seems to work.

Up to 10 minutes ago I was able to access my own website and my own blog. Now all of a sudden I get told that there is a problem and it is a security issue blah. This is obviously nonsense as I have three other browser and they can all reach my own website and my website sever (dashboard) which is with a reputable company that scans my website regularly and has all the correct certificates etc. It is very annoying because up to 10 minutes ago I was using it no problem. I cleared the cache and reloaded. Same problem.

The problem is YOUR BROWSER. I had this once before with a bank and with a govt website. Suddenly they stopped loading. I had to switch to different browsers for particular sites. Months later after your updates they work again.

Please fix your problems. You should do better. Firefox is starting to fall behind. Too many errors.

Hi,

The paste function on Firefox suddenly doesn't work. I've tried to paste passwords from my password manager into different sites and they don't work. The username is acting funky too. It usually pastes into the site after multiple tries.

Any advice? Please help. Thanks. Phil

I have Yahoo Mail+ and Gmail open in tabs (as well as MyYahoo, Yahoo Financial and Google Calendar) and both email systems intermittently declare they lose internet access. Sometimes they will continue to show current emails and sometimes not. I also have a second instance of Firefox running with MyYahoo and Start.me. All other apps on Windows 10 retain internet access as well as other non email tabs within Firefox. This does NOT happen with Chrome and the instances have increased in frequency so that I may have to switch back to using the Chrome browser. I test websites and need immediate access to email responses. I am willing to provide debug information, but don't know what or how I should report this condition. Until I get feedback I will be forced to utilize Chrome or (gasp - Edge) as my browser. I am using a Windows 10 system on an Device name Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo 15 GX550 Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10980HK CPU @ 2.40GHz 3.10 GHz Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.8 GB usable) System type 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor Pen and touch Pen and touch support with 10 touch points

You keep saying you fixed this problem and obviously you didn't. Firefox will not let me sign into starbucks.com. Keeps saying sign-in unsuccessful. Site works perfectly with safari.
