Recently I have been wanting to use my Dualshock 4 controller for web-games on Firefox. However, it is not recognized by any website I go to. I went to hardwaretester.com/gamepad to see what the issue is. The controller doesn't show up at all. However, when I have a direct connection with a USB cord, it works flawlessly. I have also tried using a program called DS4Windows which allows me Bluetooth connectivity in other applications, but does not help here. When I connect the controller and start the program, the hardwaretester website shows that a controller is connected, but is receiving no inputs. I have tried using the controller on the same website on both Edge and Chrome, and it worked on both of them.

I was wondering if you would know how I could get Firefox to recognize my controller wirelessly.

I have noticed that in versions of Firefox newer than ESR 115.7 (and early 120s in the main release channel) I get eye strain while using Firefox. This issue didn't happen with earlier versions of Firefox - at least since the Proton UI changeover. And this issue doesn't exist on other software on my system. I haven't changed my Firefox settings.

As a result of this I haven't been able to update my installation of Firefox. I'd like to try to track down what changed around that time and see if I can find a workaround or possibly submit a bug? Is anyone familiar with graphics related changes that occurred around that time? How might I go about figuring this out? I'd like to keep up with the new features and security updates.

I have built an HTTPS server using Apache/2.4.62 in a Linux environment using CentOS Stream release 9, but if you change the port number and access it, the behavior is different from Chrome/Edge, so please let me confirm this.

Client authentication is enabled when using port 443 or 44999 in /etc/httpd/conf.d/ssl.conf.

The server certificate has been imported to the client PC, and the client PC certificate has been imported to the server.

I attached index.html to /var/www/html/ on the server side and set it up so that test.html would open on port 44999 when the "Start" button on index.html was pressed. When I do this in Chrome or Edge, a certificate selection screen appears and when the client sends the certificate, the result is successful.

However, when I try this in Firefox, the certificate selection screen does not appear and the result is a failure. Why does the certificate selection screen not appear?

Also, when I capture the packets at this time with Wireshark, it appears that an empty Certificate packet is being sent in response to the Certificate Request from the server.

If you enter https://IP address:44999/test.html directly into the address bar, you will be able to access the page successfully.

the latest update 136.0.3 is broken. When right-clicking an item, none of the choices work (e.g. right-clicking on any word brings up a menu with 'open in new tab' as a choice, but nothing happens)

I'd like to use CTRL+S instead of CTRL+ALT+X to toggle the sidebar visibility as it's quick, easy, and memorable. I don't save webpages so that functionality wouldn't have a shortcut key anymore (and i'm fine with that). I know i'd have to edit an autoconfig file but i'm not sure how i'm supposed to go about that. That is to say, where are the autoconfig files saved? how do i edit them to achieve my goals?

I frequently use google image translate by taking screenshots and pasting them in the website. On chrome, I could grant it access to the clipboard on the first screenshot then not worry about it anymore. On firefox however, pressing ctrl + v first opens a context menu where I then have to click "paste" (or press p) every single time. It's getting annoying to have to go through this extra step. Is there a setting or add-on that would allow me to give a website full clipboard permissions like other browsers?

I'm trying to set up Sync across devices but the login page at https://accounts.firefox.com it takes me to never actually does anything after I click the "Sign In" button and it becomes greyed out. See attached Screenshot.

• It definitely is the right password
• I can login here at support.mozilla.org using the same credentials unless I'm mistaken
• It happens on other browsers and on a new profile in Firefox

I'm suspecting maybe it's related to me using the Profiles feature?

Hello. This question concerns the Windows 11 desktop version of Firefox.

I have long used the Home and End keys on my extended keyboard to scroll to the very top of any given page in Firefox (Home) or to the very bottom of that page (End).

But, lately, I notice that, for no reason I can figure out, Firefox no longer responds to those shortcuts. Now, when I tap Home or End, the page may, at first, scroll up or down slightly but not to the top or bottom. If I press Home or End again, nothing happens at all.

Sometimes, if I press Ctrl + Home simultaneously or Ctrl + End the page will scroll to the top or bottom respectively.

Why has Firefox's behavior apparently changed? Is there an issue with my keyboard or operating system settings? (I use a Logitech G915 keyboard.)

Please let me know how to restore Firefox's shortcut functionality, where I can tap just Home to scroll to the top of a page or only End to scroll to the bottom of a page.

I use the plugin 'Stylus' to write css so I can apply changes to our website to test with. I am on a mac, so when needing to use the # key I am required to press OPTION + 3 to make it show. Each time I do this it resizes and moves the Firefox window. It's a small thing but can often be annoying.

Does anyone else have this issue? And is there a fix for it ?

I have Essential Tremor. That is my hands shake a bit even on medication. I have a hard time getting the cursor on the audio volume scroll bar to adjust it. How can I make it about 3x wider than the default?

Hi, I just installed the latest update (I think it's 136.0.2). I guess I skipped some/several versions. Suddenly my main menu isn't workin anymore (clicking it with the mouse, that is) There is some overlay which I can't find out, how to remove. Even the Minimize/Maximize/Close buttons don't have any function. Luckily I can still access the menu via keyboard shortcuts. How can I remove that overlay bar ... or did I catch some malware ?
