Hello, I just updated to Firefox version 146, and now the bookmarks and history in the sidebar are no longer visible because the background is yellow-green and the text is white...so, invisible!

I hope you will fix this quickly with a new update, as it's a real problem.

One of the most useful features of Firefox is the PDF editor and with this update, I've found that after annotating a PDF with several text boxes, clicking the text box icon (as shown in the attached screenshot) does absolutely nothing and it is impossible to enter any further text. The only way out of this is to refresh the pdf (after saving otherwise all changes will be lost) and then starting all over again only for the error to repeat itself making the editor almost unusable. Would really appreciate knowing how to work around this especially since to make my notes clearer, I change the color and the font size which is all lost everytime I have to refresh the PDF :-(

Incidentally, why are there so many updates? I prefer stable software that works rather than 'new features' that I never use!

Finally, Firefox used to have an amazing facility of making the Firefox private browser the default browser for Windows 10 but this was removed some years ago and can only be reinstated by changing registry keys. Everytime there's an update, these registry keys are overwritten :-(. Why was such a useful feature removed please?

After the last Firefox update (146.0), my bookmarks bar only shows thumbnail images. The descriptive text which was previously black text on white back ground now appears to be white text on white background. (Whether my system is set to light theme or dark theme.) This happens on all of my Windows computers (both 10 and 11). How do I resolve this problem?

SEVERAL SITES THAT I USE ARE NOT LOADING CORRECTLY WITH MY CURRENT AD BLOCKER. WHEN I DISABLE THE AD BLOCKER THE SITES LOAD NORMALLY. I AM NOW USING A DIFFERENT BROWSER UNTIL A SOLUTION IS FOUND.

For one year that I have been working in the "shadows" on my version of US+Canada+Australian, to be released on 1-JAN-2026.

Can I add your list of proper names (~5000 words) to my dictionaries and release the dictionaries as LGPL?

15/12/2025 I need to sync my firefox data from my old windows 10 laptop to my new windows 11 laptop. Do I have to download the firefox app on to my new laptop before I can sync it, and will I need a new password if I have to download the app. Im using my old password on my old laptop to write this. On the new laptop, I tried to sign into firefox on the internet but, it said my password is wrong. I'm an oldie and have no idear what to do. Iwill be very grateful for any help. Many Thanks,

Hi, I noticed that my Firefox version has just been force-updated, on two of my computers, even though I had the automated updates unselected. I also noticed that the new version had added an opt-out option to use "AI" for my tabs which I do not want. There may be other settings that have appeared like this forcing "AI" on me and I am not going to check all of them. I will uninstall Firefox as it is no longer respecting my privacy and autonomy as a user, following the full-blown embrace of "genAI" which goes completely opposite Firefox values such as privacy, ethics, environmental responsibility and respect of their users. I might come back when Firefox goes back to being a privacy and environmentally-friendly browser.

Firefox is working but my home page yahoo.com is not displaying. I can open other tabs at will and they work fine. Malware bytes has quarantined the mozilla .exe file and they say this is due to a problem with a firefox update. Do you have a fix for this? My laptop is running Windows 11. Hello! Today I turned on Firefox and there was an automatic update to version 146.0. I have received some kind of notification about cryptocurrencies in right top window but before I read the notification it disappeared. Could you please let me know what was this notification about? Thank you!

your recent upgrade removed my side panel search bookmarks except those that have icons ( icons only)! No description of icon. Those that don't have icons have links but can't read with out hovering for seconds. Impossible to find links quickly!

in the settings I set Google as default search engine. Yet, every once in a while, when I search in the URL field, it searches via Bing, and when I check the settings, it - for whatever reason- has reset Bing as default search engine. I would prefer to get rid of it entirely, is there a may to completely "deinstall" that feature or something?

My computer crashed and so restarted it, when went to open thunderbird got a couldn't load XPCom message. Followed directions to reinstall thunderbird without using the uninstaller. When I installed it, I reloaded my email to set it up. I have lost all my latest emails, only getting them from 15 years ago. and today, nothing from this year. All my folders have also gone and my contacts.

Can someone please help, how do I fix it, I have emails from this year that I need to keep.

Every time I try to upload a file to the Microsoft Copilot 365 I keep getting the "Error Occurred Please Try Again" But when I switch to Chrome. I can upload the same files with no problem. Does anyone know why I get the "Error" with Firefox?

Hi I foolishly enabled synch yesterday and today find my (extensive) bookmarking folder system has been turned upside down. It appears to have been reorganised most recent last - very inconvenient. Two questions: can I reverse this?; and is there an easy system for removing many bookmarks chosen randomly at once, rather than one by one? Thanks Tony
