When I try to create a New Bookmark I find that the folder has already been allocated. It is usually the last used folder number. Also, I am unable to cancel edit, or remove or perform any other changes. Going to Firefox safe mode or other recommendations makes no difference.

The problem happened for the first time last week and it was, strangely, only by doing a complete System Restore that I was able to get things back to normal. That seems like a severe remedy every time it happens. I would really appreciate help with this.

While watching Virgin TV on my PC i get message "Sorry - we can't play this at the moment" I log on using Chrome at I am able to watch all channels. I have spoken to Virgin Tech Support who could not give any explanation. Does anyone have any ideas?

The Safeway website has always supported Firefox until recently. Now we are told it is incompatible with Firefox and you must use the Chrome browser. Complained to Safeway and they just said they will forward it to their website manager.

Firefox works with all other websites I use.

If i have been through 100s of pages in 1 tab and I want to go back, say, 80 pages, I have to right click the back button and select the page at the bottom (the 14th page) and this will take me back 14 pages, then again, right click, on the back button and select the bottom page and again it takes me back another 14 pages, and again..... etc etc until I get to the page I want. My question is; How can I get a longer list of pages when I right click the back button, may be list of 30 pages, so when I click the bottom page this would take me back 30 pages? (see pic, I edited the pic to show you what I want to see, the long list) Many Thanks

Every time I go to YouTube website it loads in at 280%. Very annoying. Just started and I don't know where to begin. When I click on the 280% in the bar it instantly goes to normal view. Restarted my computer with no results.

Up until recently if you had the discrete Search Bar turned on and used it to do a search, the results were displayed in the currently open tab, overwriting the previous contents of it.

At least since v78 (but maybe even since earlier) this changed. Now if you do a search like that, Firefox opens a new tab and jumps to it.

For me, the original behavior is what I got used to, and that is the desired one because I want to avoid tab clutter. How can I bring it back?

I'm using Firefox on Linux with i3wm. For some reason the whole autofill section is missing in Preferences/Privacy & Security section. I'm using version 84 of Firefox. I presume I'm missing some dependency, but I'm not sure what it is. Can someone suggest what this feature depends on to work.

It is impossible to contact Firefox. I use Firefox as my main browser. When I logged into my laptop this morning, it said if Firefox was loading slow to click the link for an update, which I did. However, once the update was done, ALL of my saved logins were gone; AND, I cannot create any new saved logins or save any logins and passwords. The "help" pages are useless because nothing addresses this. Why were ALL my saved passwords deleted? How can this be fixed?

when I create a new firefox bookmarks folder it has to chevron arrow to the left and can't be opened. It seems possible to add a new bookmark inside the new folder but its useless because the folder cannot be opened/contnts cannot be seen

in the screenshot below the top folder "gigs" has no chevron and cant be opened. "gear" and "music" are normal and fully functional.

Frequently when I go some websites Firefox will take me there but then when I click on an area within that website it will just go to a blank page. I can do the same withMS Edge and everything does fine. (example: I open my brokerage account at Vanguard then click on "Statements" and it goes to a blank Page) This just started within the last few months. This same problem occurs no mater what computer I use. My email is xxxxxxxx@xxxxxxx.xxx. Any help would be much appreciated.

that was effectively preventing firefox from showing the address bar in fullscreen mode seems stopped working.

Does anyone know workaround solution?

Hello, I recently switched from Chrome to Firefox, and I can't print a PDF with two-sided and flipped on the long edge. It only flips on the short edge (that's weird...). I know it is possible with my printer because I used to do it with Chrome. How can I print two-sided and flipped on the long edge ? Thanks for your help !

I seem to have a hidden Folder. I've been putting emails into a named folder but it doesn't appear on my list of folders. But when I do a search for specific emails it turns them up. Can folders be hidden, and how can I find and unhide it?

I installed Firefox on my Mac Air M1.

Synced all my settings from another Firefox.

Got it all set up nicely as I wanted it.

Closed Firefox using its own menu.

When I later opened Firefox again everything had gone and it was like a new installation!

I repeated the setup, and again when I closed and opened Firefox it was back to default settings.

I'm new to the Mac system. Is this a 'feature' or am I doing something wrong?
