OK I am not sure this is a Firefox issue but my g-mail account is sending composed messages to the TRASH folder. I have been using Proton Mail and have a number of email address depending on who I am emailing

Tried a few changes to my g-mail account disabled IMAP and POP that did not work I have a number of blocked email address did not delete these

I have been using Firefox and GoToMeeting for years, suddenly this month (July 2023) I get the following message when I try to open a GoToMeeting session”

“Sorry, this browser isn’t supported. Join in your browser by opening the link below in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.”

I don’t want to use either of those browsers.

What can I do to keep both Firefox and GoToMeeting?

Two issues:

1. History is truncated, does not show all history even though Custom Settings set to remember. One google post said to 'delete all history upon closure' ... There are many, many posts from users having same issue.

2. Whatever history is being recorded is no longer simply a list (Ctrl-H) but is sorted into Today, Last Week etc. which is both annoying and makes searching for previously located site impossible unless you know WHEN you visited (unlikely).

Why was the changed? And why don't you change it back so when I select History, Show All History from task bar, Firefox would do just that?

It is only in Firefox that this happens. Android and Opera are both fine. For example the city name appears several time over the map, and likewise so do suburb names. See attached screen grab. Is there a setting that I have missed?

FF would start to load but never completely finish so I forgot & stupidly did the troubleshooting mode or w/e that put me back to default so LOST all my settings, etc.. Strangely it's back "close" to normal except I was using Passbrow which the icon shows on toolbar but greyed out & I can't get it to turn back on. I have the "Old FF Data" folder but following the steps it doesn't show where profile is stored for me to be able to copy the old data TO. IF I can restore the old profile hopefully that would get it back working ALL as it was...but HOW??

Hi, I completely uninstalled the firefox and re installed the latest version. The problem is that I have lost all the passwords and email addresses. how do i retrieve this information Some experts suggested to use recuva. I have tried . But how do I use recuva to retrieve the password. Please explain in detall. If it is saved in pc, please give me instructions how to retrieve. Could I opt for system restore to have the previous firefox with all the passwords. how do I select the profile in roaming folder, appdata roaming folder to copy the same to my newly installed firefox. Please give the real solution for this urgently ,as i have to login to finish web work

Firefox crashes whenever I paste something in search bar. Even if its one word only. It has been like 3 months now and no help. It even crashes in troubleshooting mode. I have reinstalled and refreshed, but it helped only for a day.

After the latest update, "synced tabs" suddenly appeared in my history menu above Recently Closed Tabs. I don't use syncing of any sort so this is just a nuisance. How can I get rid of it?

I have 2 profiles in use. 1 for personal use with their respective bookmarks, passwords, and extensions, and I have no trouble syncing with this one. However; profile 2 that is for work use that has its respective bookmarks, passwords and extensions, has become a nightmare.

It happens that I have both profiles on the same computer and when trying to create an account in Firefox, the system asks me to enter the email registered in profile 1, with the warning that bookmarks, passwords and extensions will be mixed.

I mention that I have migrated from Google Chorme to Firefox for speed reasons and because I use windows 7 (I don't like later versions) Now well; in Google Chrome you could create as many sessions as were registered but in Firefox you can't.

Oh! I have been working fine with Firefox but suddenly an error occurs (it has happened to me 2 times in the last 2 months) in which the program closes and all the data of my profiles stored on the pc DISAPPEARS or is deleted (including cache), when I want to open them again:

firefox.exe -P

Then I have to give myself the task of synchronizing profile 1, but profile 2 I have to be importing from my previous Google account or importing a backup Bookmark.

The option to copy and paste the data from Firefox to replace it in the path (supposedly brings with it the data of everything):

C:\ProgramData\Mozilla-1de4eec8-1241-4177-a864-e594e8d1fb38\updates\308046B0AF4A39CB

with Firefox turned off it has not worked for me. Since when opening I see 2 profiles called Default "X" and Default "Z" without data.

This is a headache that if it happens to me, it happens to millions who have 2 or more profiles.

Why can't I sync a second profile? Why do you insist that there can only be one sync per device? Is there a solution for this?

Note: I have read all the tutorials out there and the situation remains the same. Synchronization with 2 or more profiles is never described.

Win 7 64 bit. 109.0.1 (64-bit) I have two admin user accounts. On number two when I bookmark a page it automatically puts a folder on the toolbar.

in number one it puts in the bookmark pull down [where you click Bookmarks from the menu bar] and I can create a folder on the toolbar if I want. I want.

I do not want all boomarks to be on the toolbar but want the toolbar shown as i want to be able to add a folder

I don't know if breakage is the correct topic. I keep Ring.com open to the dashboard in a pinned tab. A few days ago, I had viewed and cleared videos as usual and later returned to view new activity. The site requires logging in every 30 days and so seeing that I needed to do so was not a surprise. What was a surprise was that the login buttons were grayed out. I closed the tab, cleared the Ring cookies and cache and tried again. No luck. I wondered if there was some other setting that I didn't know about and decided to open a private window and try it there. To my surprise, it works. I'm stumped. I'll attach the raw data from the private window as a .txt file. Darn. I can only attach an image. Well, I have it available and can copy and paste it into a subsequent post if you think it would help

Lately when opening something in full screen it shows the background as sort of a frame around it. The dark blue at the top is the header background colour I use. It's really annoying. I can't tell if it happened in a recent update as those happen automatically. But it's just been the past few days. I use 113.0 (64) right now. I'm sending a screenshot of how it looks.

I just upgraded firefox to v 113 64 bit with windows 7 ultimate. Now when I watch youtube in fullscreen there's a border around the screen. i don't use picture in picture and it isn't on yet the border won't go away no matter what I do. Please fix this or i will use another browser. i will include a screenshot from youtube in fullscreen mode look at it.

Hello, Today, when I first open Mozilla I noticed that I have problems with fullscreen mode. When I use fullscreen (f.g. on YouTube, but it's with all clips in other pages too) I can see white borders (on the left, right and at the bottom). I checked on other browser (Chroma) and I don't have this problem there. Can this problem be connected with new update? Or something just broke and I should re-install?

Hello. Wanna report that i noticed strange border while in fullscreen mode while watching a video. The same things happens even if you go fullscreen mode on browser (not a video). Yesterday was fine. System 7, 64bit, Mozilla update 113.0
