With every release of Firefox I find that more and more websites that I use become unusable with Firefox, meaning I have to constantly switch between browsers that are not broken, like Chrome and edge. Before abandoning Firefox altogether I would like to know if it is possible to repair Firefox. The latest site Firefox that causes Firefox to crash is thai-language.com, which returns the completely false and meaningless message "The proxy server is refusing connections Firefox can’t connect to the server at www.thai-language.com". This worked well until the latest 'upgrade' or rather 'downgrade' from Firefox.

recent firefox update can no longer copy and paste when creating a blog post in Squarespace, I have been using squarespace for around 15 years for my websites and I have never seen this issue, Firefox 15.1 installed and all of a sudden when trying to create a blog post in Squarespace, when I right click a text box pop up and it no longer says paste so I can no longer copy and paste text - this is more than a little annoying, you will not be surprised to know that I am now using Chrome to create my posts, there is no issue in chrome. I am a firefox geek! how can i solve this problem, I just did another update from Firefox, the issue remains I have been using computers for 40 year so I am not a novice but software glitches, I am lost

Since update I can't copy and paste, because the menu is partly deleted. Since Update Geocaching.com doesn't work properly. Can't copy coordinates

Since last update...the reaction emojis on Facebook are blacked out. The entire bar of emojis are not visible. It is all black. Yet the words are visible when hovered over. There seems to be nothing wrong with the FB site and it has been suggested it could be the browser. So if you have any reports of glitches like this ...would be nice if you could fix. Yesterday (August 10) I tried logging into my account on Domini Funds (https://uportal.ultimusfundsolutions.com/app/dominifund/#login). My login worked okay, but only half of the site's menu loaded and none of my account data loaded. There was just a white circle with a blue streak orbiting inside. After 60-90 seconds of this display, I aborted the attempt to access my data.

I tried logging into the site again today after I had been prompted to download and use a new version of Firefox. The same result: log-in was successful, but only a partial menu loaded and none of my account data was loaded. The orbiting blue streak ran for 60 seconds before I gave up and aborted.

I then tried to access the site using an old version of Microsoft Internet Explorer and everything displayed as expected. I had a full menu displayed and I could view and interrogate my account data.

I only visit this site 3-4 times a month. My last visit was on August 1. Everything displayed properly then.

I can not log in to home depot website because it won't send me the verification code. No other website gives me this problem and I can log in with Chrome.

How can I fix this?

Hello, I need Help with my NAS System, because i can´t copy my Files per Drag & Drop. It works with other Browsers (Opera, Edge) but not with Firefox anymore. It worked since March this Year but after an Update it dosn´t work . Now after a few Updates later it still dosn´t work. Is there any solution for this Problem of should i change my Browser? Thanks for the Help.

I can login to all other sites on Firefox, except Facebook. I only had one extension, UBlock Origin. I tried disabling this, then uninstalling, but I still couldn't login. I deleted Firefox's cache several times. It's been like this for a few days now.

No one else online seems to have this problem.

At the moment I'm using any other browser to login to Facebook.

I don't know what else to do, as I prefer just using the one browser, Firefox.

Please advise if you know of a possible fix.

A website that I have used for years to track my wine cellar invenory has ceased functioning for me. The Web Designer tells me that the problem is a network issue and not his problem. I get no solutions from my ISP.

When I attempt to load the page and look at the Console I get the following error message in response to several GET requests:

Cross-Origin Request Blocked: The Same Origin Policy disallows reading the remote resource at https://cdn.ct-static.com/dist/js/ct.min.1530c2da96.js.

A web search tells me that this policy is a browser safety net. Any suggestions for troubleshooting?

I had to rebuild my Windows 11 this week. Since installing Firefox, streaming videos in Youtube are distorted with significant tiling during the first few seconds. The video has to be rewound manually to see the beginning unhindered, sometimes rewound several times because the tiling still happens, albeit less so with each rewind. I had to rebuild the Windows 11 because some mysterious problem, possibly from a Windows update a couple of months ago, caused a growling hardware contention noise during video or video games that would cycle through several harmonic levels and sometimes move across the stereo plane. Just before the rebuild it became continuous and untennable. The rebuild did not get rid of that problem completely, but there have only been a couple of tiny hardware contention noises since then. This tiling of Youtube video is brand new. The system is pretty much the same now as it was before the rebuild. I still have the old OS on another internal drive so it would be possible to compare files. I just want to know why all of a sudden Firefox is showing this momentary tiling in Youtube. I tried Chrome and there was no titling. Thanks for your time.

What is the problem?

My copy of Firefox updated about 1600 local time yesterday. At this same time Facebook could not be accessed, just get a blank page. Tried clearing history, but still not working. Windows 11.

After the most recent FF update, I can no longer upload pictures from my laptop to FB. I cannot see replies to posts in the main feeds. I have to go to the individual post pages to see them. Upon trying to sign into FB I often now get a message that says the feature is not working, but I click on it again and am able to log in. The feeds are taking a long time to load - I can see 3-4 posts and then icons that show the rest of the feed is trying to load, I do not have AVG or the other thing (bitdefender maybe, or something like that) others have been having problems with, that was resolved in a recent 'FB not working' thread -- that was supposedly solved with a recent update. A few minutes ago my laptop shut down while I was on FB. I did all of the suggestions regarding clearing the cache, cookies, etc. when I first noticed the problem so there is still a big problem with FB. I did report my inability to upload pictures directly to FB but I don't have any replies from them. Unrelated, I am sure, but my bookmarks were gone again this morning, for like the 24th time and I had to do the profile folder fix to get them back. I did not cache or other cleaning before I shut my computer down last night. It last happened a few days ago, unrelated to the cache etc cleaning after I noticed the FB problem. I have Norton antivirus and FF is synced to my cell phone but I prefer using my laptop for all internet activity because the screen is obviously bigger. I do not want to use another browser because of security issues. Thank you.

I'm having an issue with my website, https://bitlifeapk.org/, when it's opened in Firefox. Some pages appear to load more slowly than expected, while they seem to work normally in other browsers.

I've already cleared the cache, disabled extensions, and tested on different devices, but the issue still occurs. Has anyone experienced something similar or can suggest steps to identify whether this is a Firefox compatibility issue or something I should fix on my website?

Until a few months ago, I was able to turn off the underlining of URLs in web pages that I create. But within the last few months, all URLs appear as underlined, even in documents where they had NOT been underlined a few months ago. I am using the text-decoration setting to control this aspect. Look at page https://www.w3schools.com/CSS/tryit.asp?filename=trycss_link2 in the Edge browser, and see the "This link changes text-decoration" change between underlined and not as the cursor is moved on and off of that sentence in the middle box. Now look at the above page in latest Firefox. Moving the cursor on and off of the "This link changes text-decoration" sentence causes NO change to that sentence -- it always is underlined.

I refer to the w3schools.com website when I wish to learn about a new-to-me feature, and I have found their site to be accurate in the past.

I usually use Nightly as my default browser in a Windows 11 system. Recently I started to get a new error message showing up when I try to select multiple messages in Yahoo e-mail. I select them by clicking on the first message, then holding down Shift and clicking on the last message in the range. That should turn on the selection boxes for all the messages between the two.

Now, when I press the Shift key, I get an error box right on top of where my mouse cursor is, so it interferes with me. The top of the box says "mail.yahoo.com", which is the web-site I'm signed in on. Then it has a link with the text "Login - Sign in to Yahoo". Below that is an ad for all the wonderful things I can get by signing in to Yahoo. At the bottom is an error message, "We can't generate key points for this webpage."

I tried the same action in the current General Release of Firefox, v140, and this does not happen. I suspect that this is an intrusion by some sort of AI software, but I don't know what setting might have been activated to turn this on. Does anyone have any idea how to turn it off?
