Hi, I am using Firefox exclusively for my work Claude account, I only check my usage on it. Today, I noticed Firefox silently installed a webapp under $USER/AppData/Roaming/Microsoft/Windows/Start Menu/Programs, and it has a Claude webapp, which I neither click any install or add to my menu. I found it extremely concerning in terms of privacy, and I am wondering if any other people have similar experience.

Have tried different solutions like Malware product and cleaning cashe and cookies. When I search a known safe site I get redirect by Convertitmas stating the (known safe) site is unsafe. Best regards Henrik Nygaard

I am currently getting unwanted popups purporting to be from firefox about virus protection. I know they are fake because they report my McAfee license has expired, and it hasn't. I have McAfee scanning for viruses right now. They are generated over again when I close them; so I can't get rid of them.

My browser is being managed by "your organization" but I belong to NO organization. How do I regain control of my own browser?

Message reads: "Your browser is being managed by your organization" Please help me regain control of my browser!

I have received 3 system alerts, all from Mozilla Firefox (I use Firefox as my default browser). 1) System is infected!---click on d45n9f8ko90s738b610.gsx-protect.co.in 2) ZEUS.2020 Trojan detected--with same directed site 3) System Alert!---with same directed site.

I use McAfee as my security system. They recommend going to Firefox settings and disallowing random site connections. How do I get my system running again.

Latest McAfee scan shows 45 entries deleted and 2 browsers reset

I was prompted to install a .js file while on a website unrelated to mozilla organization. I was taking a work call and distracted at the time and was dumb enough to install it before I realized this was not a normal update. Should I uninstall and reinstall firefox? My McAfee blocked the script from "trying to hijack one of [my] apps"

The attached pop up ad continues to present it self in spite of my selecting block pop-ups. I cannot find a setting to block the pop up depicted in the attached image. Assistance would be appreciated.

Instead of returning directly to my desktop when I close Firefox, this website opens: https://www.websudoku.com/ and I then have to close that before I can see my desktop. I do not want this to happen!!!!! How can I stop it?

I need help with annoying pop-ups. I followed instructing. It only say allow, not block, when I go to settings, security & privacy, checked block pop-ups and third party redirects.
