Firefox is giving me an error on https://stemgateway.nasa.gov but the site is perfectly accessible using MS Edge and using Firefox on another computer. I uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox, changed the proxy settings to not use a proxy, tested a VPN, and changed DNS servers. Below is a picture of the error and of the certificate which seems to be present in Firefox already.

I have recently received a notice from Mozilla informing me that the Security Certificate for Firefox is set to expire, and if I do not update it, Firefox may develop issues and stop functioning. As I am not very tech savy, and do not understand the language, I do not know igf/how this will affect my system. It is set to update automatically. I have included a screenshot of the notice below. I keep the system simple, and do not use add-ons, etc. Can someone please explain what all this means in laymans terms?

Hi : We are planning out server farm capacity, network gear needed, for a new site for our AI micro-services. We are curious when do you think that Firefox will support TLS 1.4 ? and will the overhead/utilization difference be between TLS 1.4 and 1.3 which we currently use exclusively. I understand that we are talking servers, and FireFox is a browser, but we cant dig up any real-world stats on the workload difference between the two. Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you for your time Albert Baker.

How long before Nightly download site is available again?

https://download.mozilla.org/?product=firefox-nightly-latest-ssl&os=linux64&lang=en-US returns:

Did Not Connect: Potential Security Issue

Nightly detected a potential security threat and did not continue to download.mozilla.org because this website requires a secure connection.

What can you do about it?

download.mozilla.org has a security policy called HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS), which means that Nightly can only connect to it securely. You can’t add an exception to visit this site.

The issue is most likely with the website, and there is nothing you can do to resolve it. You can notify the website’s administrator about the problem.

Learn more… Websites prove their identity via certificates. Nightly does not trust this site because it uses a certificate that is not valid for download.mozilla.org. The certificate is only valid for the following names: *.bbcollab.cloud, bbcollab.cloud

I am new to firefox customization. I need help to understand, how firefox picks up CA certificates from the global ca-certificates path in ubuntu and uses them in their own cert9.db

Currently, what I am trying is, If I have a rootCA certificate (which I generated using openssl), I want to keep it in a specific path, such that when firefox launches, it picks up that certificate and uses it. How can i achieve it.

I have tried using the policies.json, which works. But are there any other ways to achieve it?

My bank says it is your problem. This website will open using Google but not Firefox. I am wondering if somewhere in your last "update" there was a change which clashes with my bank's security settings (or whatever). When I try to open the website (Chase.com), the screen shows a solid blue screen and a twirling circle which usually precedes the opening to my account page. It twirls FOREVER! It never opens! It makes no sense to me whatever. HELP!!

I have a router set up at a remote site with a device that has a built in web server that allows viewing the items displayed. The router quit working so i replaced it with another one with the same configuration but now when I try to access through it The browser is complaining that it is unsecure and apparently resets the connection. I don't care if it is unsecure it is my site/router and I want to connect. I have used this configuration many times with no problems but firefox has done something to prevent it from working anymore, this started being a problem with some of these setups a couple years ago. How do I get it to connect anyway.
