I have loved FF desktop browser since I started using it per my boss in 2003. But I am so tired of the fact that EVERY SINGLE TIME you put out an update it breaks my access to the bank. EVERY SINGLE TIME. I waste HOURS reading articles, calling the bank IT dept, chatting with people who are on 3 calls at once, only to hear them tell me to "just use chrome." I clear the cookies, clear the cache, reboot, follow all the prompts in the settings and THEN the damned bank server doesn't recognize the device so it forces yet ANOTHER password change. It happened again TODAY and it makes me so sad but I cannot do it anymore. I am STILL now (going on 4 hours) trying to access the billpay page @ Xantanderbank. (ahem, secure codename) I am forced now, by this craziness, to use the imbecilic duckduckgo which is A) and offensive name and b) you KNOW it nowhere near the product you have built but I CANNOT DO THIS ANYMORE. Thank you for the time it takes to read this diatribe. I appreciate it.

For the past few months, the browser will no longer download any files. The only diagnostic that I can see is failed when the download is attempted. I have refreshed firefox and the problem remains. Chrome can download without any problems, but I used firefox for many years and wish to continue.

I need help for if i search a site it automatically fills out stuff i dont want like instead of me needing this www.(site).com it dose www.(site).com/de and i DO NOT want this de at the end bc yesterday it all worked fine but since de is there it dosnt work anymore and i cant remove de it gets automatically added back

I have attached an image of the setting panel that used to have options for the home screen of Firefox. There are no wallpapers to choose from and the Home screen is barren.

On my OS I have ClearType disabled, and selected Arial 9px font globally.

So, in Firefox, Show your Bookmarks ( Ctrl+Shift+O ) > Manage Bookmarks > Library

The left column navigation section, and all table items in the right, show anti-aliasing text, ie: sub-pixel rendering where clearly there shouldn't be.

This seems to happen regardless of font selection (see userChrome.css, @-moz-document url(chrome://browser/content/places/places.xhtml).

I know I should just get over it, and what's ClearType anyway, but just wondering if there'll be any relief for us migraine sufferers, or people with attention deficit, or visual disturbances, or like to organize stuff because their grades really suck, or ... well you get the idea.

I have a hunch this may be more of a java thing than a css fix, any thoughts?

I'm baffled by the statement of my Browser being managed by my organization since I am a single, non connected entity and have no organization, nor do I want one. I want control since I'm the one paying for it's use. Can you explain how to return control to me and only me? Thanks, KG

I cannot receive a page from the copyright office because they say I have a popup blocker preventing it. How do I find it to turn it off. It is not in the system settings when searched. Help please.

so i need that "ctrl+shift+o" hotkey for my amd adrenaline. i tried googling on how to turn off/change hotkeys for firefox but i couldnt find anything that helps me find this hotkey setting.

Looking at my Firefox 147.0.1 settings for macOS 26.2 (Apple M1), I'm trying to adjust two settings:

-- I'd like to remove Languages -> English (GB) (its existence has odd side effects, like triggering United Airlines to offer fares in Pounds Sterling, and I'd prefer to just have English (US))

-- I'd like to disable Play Audio and Video for about:welcome (in regular and private windows)

I can see no way to accomplish this currently -- why?
