I can't find any of the website I saved under add to collections anymore. Is there a way to put them back one my home page?

For a few weeks now, Firefox desktop (on both Linux & Windows) prompts me on every start to create a new profile. I don't want to create a new profile, nor do I want to disable profiles completely, but most of all, I don't want to be repeatedly prompted. Another peeve is the repeated advertising of the new "summary" feature. New features should be offered *once* with an option to *permanently* dismiss the reminders! Failing this, there should be an option to disable the reminder in settings, without having to use about:config!

Since the last update, the firefox taskbar icon is showing a strange shopping card icon? How can I remove it? I am not shopping with Firefox, I am using it as my web browser.

Good Morning, I have been trying to access Whatsapp web through the Mozilla browser but i have been unable now for the last four weeks. When i use other browsers then i am able to access the internet. Thank you.

I have years of bookmarks that have disappeared and my history is missing. Firefox opens with the tabs that were open when it shut down. I really want my bookmarks back.

Hello, Until a couple of days ago we have been connecting regularly to the samaritanspurse.org website but now the connection times out. All other websites connect with no problem. What can we do to correct this situation. Thank you

Hello, I am no longer able to sign into my Apple iCloud account and tools (Mail, Calendar, Notes, etc) through my Firefox browser. The problem started this past Friday, and it happening on both my home office and work laptops. When I switch to my Microsoft Edge browser on the same 2 laptops, I am able to sign-in to my iCloud account and tools without any difficulty. So it is not a problem on the Apple iCloud side. I am able to access my iCloud account and tools/apps from my iPhone and my iPad as always. It is only when I try to login from a Firefox browser window that I get a "Failed to Verify Your Identity" error message.

I like keeping my search bar clean. In addition to the Favorites star, now there is a "add tab to taskbar". On occasion (not sure what triggers it to appear) there is also a "Toggle reader view" icon as well. How can I control what symbols appear in my search bar. I only want what I need not what Firefox thinks I need. Dislike this feature.

One page of my online scheduling software often doesn't load all the way. It's a list of clients, not super-long. It often only loads the first 10-15 names (out of about 80). Eventually this pop-up appears: "This page is slowing down Firefox. To speed up your browser, stop this page."

I'm on a Windows 10 desktop with PLENTY of speed/memory. That's not the issue, unless Firefox isn't using the computer optimally.

I've been having tons of issues with Firefox so a few days ago I did a "Refresh." This helped, but obviously didn't fix this particular issue.

I've seen many questions about this matter over the years, and thought I'd been lucky. Every link containing a .m3u file opened in my media player, WACUP. However ... after an update to version 143 it suddenly didn't. .m3u links opened as a text file in the browser window.

We have five windows 10 workstations in the home, and this happened with all of them.

I write webpages for a family intranet, and several thousand tracks are available for playing, so that was messed up too.

These are the steps I followed - unsuccessfully:

• Bulleted list item Checked file association settings in Windows 10. .m3u was associated to WACUP, my media player.
• Bulleted list item Checked file actions in Firefox. .m3u files set to open in WACUP.
• Bulleted list item Added the type="audio/mpgurl" in the anchor link for webpages I make.
• Bulleted list item Changed the default download panel in FF settings to "Ask". I could then get it to ask me to save or open. "Open" worked, as it this is tied to the system default audio player - nothing to do with FF.
• Bulleted list item A few other frustrating, but eventually inconsequential solutions that were in the realm of "I wonder if ...?"

So ... after all of this and a lot of investigation I noticed something interesting: All my playlists were in the format with just a listing of the filename, which as mentioned had been working for years:

Example "01 Queen - We Are The Champions.mp3".

Yet a playlist made in VLC had a different format: example,

"#EXTM3U

1. EXTINF:-1,01 The Beach Boys - Help Me Rhonda.mp3

01 The Beach Boys - Help Me Rhonda.mp3 "

SOLUTION

Having far too much time on my hands, I experimented with this, dissecting the various components of the playlist, and eventually found when adding "#EXTM3U" as the first line in the playlist, Firefox opened the playlist in WACUP once again when the link was clicked.

New playlist entry:

1. EXTM3U

01 Queen - We Are The Champions.mp3 02 ... 03 ... etc.

I've left the "type='audio/mpegurl" declaration in the link.

I don't know why this happened, but I hope somebody finds this useful in the future.

So now I have several thousand playlists to edit, although Notepad++ will make this easier, but by no means quick.

Firefox told me to update Firefox. I had to get help from Apple support to do so. Now the new version takes forever to load anything. I can't read comments from other people on my Facebook posts. Amazon takes forever to show the products that I am looking for. I saved both versions of Firefox when I updated, so how do I find the previous version to use? It was much better on my computer.

When opening Firefox version 147 it asked if I wanted to install updates and after answering affirmative, then it gave "Error: Platform version '147.03' is not compatible with minversion >=147.02 maxversion <=147.02. Maybe try to reinstall Firefox?" The browser will not open. What is the workaround??

youtube has failed to open fr 2 weeks now, it was working well before but on opening it of recent, it displayed this message below till now yet other tabs open well and my internet connection is stable
