Hello,

I have lost access to the primary email on my account. I will never be able to get it back, it was a work email address from a previous employer.

I had already registered a secondary email address but it won't let me switch it to primary without confirmation to the current primary address. Is there a way around this issue, or am I stuck with my account set permanently to a dead inbox?

Hello, I installed Firefox on a new imac. It requested I set up sync with another device. Said device already has Firefox. The only option is to link to ios app store and it opens the Firefox already on my iPhone. What am I missing? It's a very frustrating loop of ridiculousness... Thx Pierce.

Hello, I format my desktop and i install firefox, i log in with my account but firefox not sync anything. I made many formats in the past but sync worked perfect. Why now dont work?

I have reinstalled the OS on my lap top and after a successful login to my account I am unable to sync everything from the account. The logs can be found in: https://controlc.com/8afabe84

I have the same account set on two different devices (My desktop PC and my android phone, this device I am trying to sync is the third one) and both those device were synced long time ago.

I tried with another profile which I am using for my work related stuff, still no success. First I tried syncing on Ubuntu 20.10 and then installed on Ubuntu 20.04(currently) but it is without success.

I need to sync to this device the bookmarks, extensions, saved logins, etc... Currently I do not have my other PC to export this stuff, please help.

I recently changed my PC and need the replacement to become the master so that an older PC gets synced from the new one. As the older PC has no addons/extensions and only 1 tab open, the last thing I want is for it to sync what it has to the new machine which was accurately synced from the PC it just replaced.

I can find no setting in Sync to specify which machine should be the master from which all other connected devices (slaves) will get their synced data from.

I'm using firefox sync with an own sync server.

Since a few weeks the synchronization of tabs doesn't work right. I use five devices. On my Macbook, the iPhone and the iPad mini I can see and reach the tab-sync of these three devices.

On another iPad and an Linux-PC, wich I added at last, I can see the tab-sync of all five devices.

How can I force the first three devices to sync the tabs of all five devices? I did alread several steps of testing and trying, like manual synchronization or remove and adding again all devices to the account.

I downloaded Firefox and started to web browse which i do like, but then i went ahead and pressed SYNC on Firefox and it locked me out of my Gmail account and youtube. It does not recognize my passwords. I'm completed locked out. Please help in this matter. If you could give me a complete detail report to solving this problem since i am not tech knowledgable.

If I send a page from smarthphone to PC it works correctly. If I send a page from PC to smarthphone it doesn't work and the smarthphone browser doesn't receive anything.

So, i have logged in Firefox Accounts, in a friend's computer a few days ago. When i finished what i was doing, i simply logged out and turn of the computer.

Now, i'm back home and when i turn on my computer and Firefox, i discover that i have sync all of my friend's bookmarks, usernames and passwords! He works with a lot of people's personal data, so now i have a ton of data that is hard to manualy delete; I have already restored my bookmarks to a previous date, so thats all ok! My questions now is, can i also restore my saved username and passwords to a previous date?

I was a little surprised to see that my current computer hasn't reflected the updated bookmarks which I bookmarked on my other computer with being logged into my account as well which I thought would be the case after syncing Firefox on my current computer. I'm not too sure of how to get around this since I checked Firefox on my laptop which I used recently and had the recent bookmarks listed but not on my other computer where I'm on now. Hope you can help me figure out how to get around this outside of trying to sync my information which I haven't had much luck with. Thank you.

I just had to system-restore my PC and when I redownloaded firefox, all of my settings/toolbars/bookmarks were gone. I thought hitting "sync now" would restore them from my Firefox account and it did nothing. I've kept the same bookmarks and saved passwords through at least three machines, I don't know what I did wrong or why it isn't working now. I'm afraid that hitting "sync now" has just overwritten all of my stored data instead of restoring it as I thought it would. Please help.

I am wondering it this is possible - I have a Windows 10 laptop that needs to be upgraded to V202H and I am told that the upgrade will probably delete all of my current programs and settings - including my Firefox install and all bookmarks. To help recover from that, I wanted to know if it would be possible to set up an alternate Firefox in a not often used local account on my Windows 7 laptop and then sync the two so that after the upgrade, I can download Firefox again onto the Win 10 laptop and then sync it back so that I can get all of my bookmarks and settings for FF back onto the Win 10 laptop.

I don't want to sync it with the Firefox that I use in my regular Win 7 user account since that has a separate set of bookmarks and settings that I wouldn't want to change. I just wanted a way to "hold" all of the Win 10 Firefox stuff and "reinstall" it, and had thought that sync might be a way to do that.

If that won't work, is there a way to transfer the entire FF profile over to a new install on that laptop once it is upgraded?

When I send tabs from my laptop to my phone, it always says "Tab from [other name]'s Firefox on LAPTOP", and I would like to change this name but I cannot figure out how to, as my Firefox shows my actual name.

I just got a new PC laptop and was able to sync all of my Mozilla bookmarks to the new device. I've been working on cleaning up my bookmarks - they sure do accumulate.

My question is this: When I have made changes to bookmarks on one of my two PCs (one desktop and one laptop), how do I prevent the changes from being eliminated (changed back to as they were) on the device on which I made them, i.e. which computer to I sign in to first in order for the sync to have the changes take place on the second device rather than reversing the changes.

I'm sure the answer is simple and I could spend the time experimenting, but I'm more than confident someone out there can help be out easily, Please?

Something else that I really like. I have Apple for Windows 10 downloaded to my desktop. Any changes I make to my bookmarks on my PCs, get changed on my iPhone in Safari. Love dat!!
