Hi

I would need some help

Example. Let's say I'm using FirefoxTranslations to translate an average-sized article, on Wikipedia, from German into English.

On the top left hand side of the screen, FirefoxTranslations tells me it has downloaded 17'140'835 bytes.

It always seems to be the same amount of bytes. This is downloaded for every single translation.

I thought that, once downloaded, the vocabulary would be stored, locally, on my computer. Permanently.

Doesn't look like it's happening.

What am I doing wrong?

I see in the blog the roboform extension does not work with Firefox for many users. It errors that it only works in a browser. Why can't Roboform see or associate the connection when Firefox browser is in use. If it is in use, then Roboform should work. Is it a Firefox problem or a roboform problem? Between both of you surely someone can resolve this problem? It seems Roboform has washed their hands of the problem because they reply with a standard enable process that doesn't work for many people. I am on my 2nd new computer and still have the same problem. Again the error states it only works when the browser is in use. If the browser is in use, then what is the problem? thanks for any assistance you can provide.... I like Firefox and Roboform, it would be a blessing to have both working at the same time. This problem is getting worse all the time. Seems like each upgrade it gets worse. I shut down FF expecting it to restore all the tabs when restarting. But... Gone. Currently Mac OS 13.3.1 (22E261) FF Version: 113.0.1 (64-bit)

I found the use of using right-click on images to get a general menu, and the middle-clicking on "Open image in new tab" a boon, because it would often enlarge the images and make them easier for me to see.

In the past two days, suddenly this has become a hit or miss situation and I'm not sure why. Sometimes I can middle-click on "open image in a new tab" multiple times and get no response. Other times if I hold down for a while and then release, it will open the image. And then other times again it will work as intended.

I'm not quite sure why this issue has suddenly occured.

Firefox is up to date, Version 113.0.2 (64-bit). My mouse is a KLIM Blaze, drivers 3.1 which again seem to be up to date. My middle-click in new-tab is set to true in firefox's config.

Does anyone know why these issues are happening?

Is there any way to turn off the button "Open video in a new tab" that appears when you hover on an Instagram video? This button is blocking a button from an extension that I want to use.

In windows 10 I have disabled ClearType antialiasing. Because of this, Firefox does not make antialiasing of some fonts: Firefox-Google Firefox-Wiki

On the same system, Chrome browser does antialiasing (grayscale): Chrome-google Chrome-wiki

How to force the Firefox to use antialiasing the same way as Chrome?

I have Windows 11 with Edge - I use Firefox link to duckduckgo. Duckduckgo blocks some actions as not have access and they are more difficult to track. But I am increassing unable to say go to windows in microsoft 365 in 11 ? what do I need to get this working as I need it . I am willing to change back to Firefox - but I have know interest in using goggle - I have been hacked several tiems through that browser. my email is wayne@thecrawfords.com - I have my own domain. and more resectly it getting block as not valid when I respond to answer a question. Your thoughts on how to fix.

As the subject says, certificate exceptions added "permanently" in the Certificate Manager are dumped at various intervals. For example after updating to 113.02, my certificates for a local router and switch were gone. Sometimes the certificate exceptions seem to be removed at random intervals. Can't really nail down what causes this but the "permanent exception" is not honored. I added several certificates a few days ago, now they're gone.

This has been an ongoing PITA for the past year or more. Why does Firefox make this so difficult?
