I just experienced the XPcom not loaded issue. Uninstalled Mozilla Firefox and re-installed. All of my logins and passwords are no longer available in programs I saved to the "Pocket." What can I do?

My usernames and passwords are both saved on firefox. On certain websites, like reddit, the option to autofill only appears when I click on the password box, not the username box, and it only fills out the password. This happens both on windows and android.

In Firefox, and Firefox only, in every version for the last several months, I have found it impossible to get Firefox to allow websites to "remember this device", even when I check that option. Every day I log in to a website, for example Tmobile, and I have to get a code emailed to me. I check "remember this device so you won't need a code next time", but the next time I log in, the same thing happens. Over and over with many sites. This does not happen with any other browser, except Firefox. How do I get Firefox to allow me to save my info? I really don't want to use Chrome, Safari, Brave, or Edge, but I do not have this problem with any of them. Only Firefox. And yes, I've checked my settings, and everything I can see says Firefox should be saving this info.

Norton recently issued a major update to their Norton 360 software. Since then the passwords that I saved in Firefox's password manager do not work. I go to the webpage and the passwords simply do not show up and cannot be used. Did Norton suddenly block the Firefox password and sign in function? Call me Puzzled.

As is known, Google likes to offer to sign in users on 3rd party sites. I have no interest in using Google to sign in to websites. How does it even know I'm there? It's following me around the web. I've tried in vain to find a way to turn this feature off. Does anybody know how to do it?

Hi, 2 days ago I switched from Chrome to Firefox. I buy a lot of stuff online from many shops, so I really need the autofill feature. I checked and it is available only in some locations, ex. France. Will it be available in Poland in about a month?

I've tried everything that was suggested under the settings tab for password saving. I have enabled it for all websites, and yet FF is not saving any of my passwords. I also tried to import my PWs from Google. Still blank. What next?

A few weeks ago, I checked my passwords and logins tab only to find there was nothing there anymore. Completely blank. I must have had at least 50 logins saved there. I'm not sure if there was an update around the time, but I believe I checked and saw there was. Has this happened to anyone else? Were you able to get them back? This is my wake up call to completely stop using the password manager feature of any browser ever. Totally disappointed

The password generator of Firefox is usually just adequate. However it sometimes generates a password I don't want to use. Maybe it contains a swear, or something gross.

I would have thought if I erased it from the input box, and then hit the option to suggest a strong password over again, it would give a different securely generated password. No go, same one again. I tried going into the password list and removing the password, then going back and hitting the generator again. Must make a new one, right? No, it stubbornly returns the same exact bad one.

What is going on, and how do I make Firefox actually re-do the password generation, instead of repeating the same one?

Since the software update 3 weeks ago, I've not been able to login to my retirement acct (Chrome works fine) Is there a way to tell Firefox to allow access to a particular website?
